I must not be allowed to be anywhere near a working PC before I go to sleep ( which is highly unlikely since my PC is just next to my bed ) The reason why I always ended up actually sleeping an hour later than the time I announced to myself that I'm going to sleep ( THAT, and I always end up reading on the bed )

Anyway, of oddities that I crank up before I head off to Dreamland, this HAD to be one of the lamest EVER XD ( omgzw00t it MOVES !!! ) See, I was bored. And I was so totally mesmerized by it.

I'm now waiting for my work to be finalized... I really hated the waiting part. I'd been hermiting myself off any IM and even web-browsers for the past 3 days just so that I can fully concentrate on my work. I panicked like hell when I realized that I'm one of the last to complete my work for the month ;____; Now, I just wanna get it over with so I can be free of the month's burden and guilt ( for maybe about the afternoon ) until the next month's work pour in again ( in less than 24 hours? I really hope so, since I have a concert to catch at the end of August, I would want all my work to be done before I leave for them Kimchis )

Damn you Aimo! I will never get the word "MANTITS" out of my head for AGES after this! T_____T

I'm so bored I have no idea what to do. I don't really want to procrastinate, I just don't have much anything to do at the moment in the office and why oh why the hell am I feeling all guilty and uneasy ( well, that's because I know I will DIE most painfully when the works all come in near the end of the month – imagine, 3 weeks worth of work to be settled in a week, woes, kill me now )

Ah well, be prepared to randomness of this post, I'm so bored it's starting to give me a headache. Last week had been a week filled with err .. happenings.

I started a new term of my language class with half the class of new students from another class joining ours. Found out that one of the new student is a major fan of SMAP and Katsumata-sensei still remembers my L'Arc~en~Ciel-obsession *sweats* I do wish she'll stop introducing me to new people ( especially to other teachers ) as "Laruku の fan" because it's rather embarrassing ^^;;;.

Had to helped out the company at a Computer Fair event at PWTC on Friday and discovered that I have a rather obsessive pet-peeve by pure chance ( grrr ... ). Found someone to talk to obsessively about books which was the only hi-point for that really boring day of manning the booth. It was a moment of books-geek-bonding alright. Ah! It is wonderful to meet fellow Gailman fan ( that's because I was reading Stardust there :P )

And I'd got free tickets for 3 different set of events it's really rather funny. Let's see, firstly, free tickets for the Korean horror movie : Ghost Train ( which sucks, don't bother to watch it, really ) from Jade. Okay, to be fair, I'm still not sure whether it's the movie that is bad or the subtitle that was horrendous. It seems to me that is a lot of potential to tell this story, only that it leaves me leaving the cinema trying to figure out what the hell just happened to some of the characters and some of the events in the story itself.

More free tickets for F.I.R. ( Taiwanese band, which I don't really fancy as they reminds me too much of the wonderful Do As Infinity ) promo concert which was jam packed with people and jinjang of all different age and colours ( ugh ). Well, most people thinks that I didn't really enjoyed the concert is due to the fact that I don't really like the band to begin with. This is largely not true, because I believe that I can still enjoy a good live regardless whether that I know the band/artistes performing or not. But all in all, the whole performance fell rather flat, and it doesn't really convey a feeling of being at a 'live performance' . Hell, it's not even that the lady was flat or singing out of tune, it just felt that the whole thing was lip-synched and it wasn't "live" . Their guitar solo wasn't all that impressive ( okay, that was me being picky ) But again, didn't sound like it's played on the spot because it sounded too immaculate(?) ( ... or was that my inner bitching again? ) I may settled for the idea that the sound system for the performance set by the event organizer was rather poor though, I don't know. This live doesn't really do much to me at all.

Next! Something that I'm actually looking forward to! TVB8 Anti Drug Concert on the 18th this month! I actually won 2 free tickets for the event, so I'm seriously happy =D Mayday IS PERFORMING !!! That's reason enough for me to be enthusiastic about it. Plus, old veterans such as Hacken Lee and Alan Tam will be there as well, so... w00t.

Ah realy, I do listen to Chinese music .. sometimes ... don't give me THAT look

Was watching the last 2 episodes of BECK yesterday. I went fangirly in the last episode when I hear a very familiar guitar rift starting off when they introduce Heroes ( the band Taira's in after Greatful Sound ). It's Last Dinosaur from the pillows !!! XD XDDD And they played Advice after that as well later in the episode where Heroes was in another live house ^0^ The pillows fangirl in me was so unnecessarily happy :P
I still like the manga better though *coughs*

4. Five books that means a lot to me: This will be hard since I can't really remembered all the stuff I'd read plus there are so many books that really meant a lot to me. So the ones listed here are stuff off the top of my head when I'm typing this out.

1 - Old shoujou manga 'Candy Candy' - haha yeah, laugh all you want, you have no idea how much i cried watching the anime when I was 5 and reading the entire set of manga when I was around 10. Impressionable little tot shouldn't be given old shoujou as birthday presents I tell you.
2 - IT by Stephen King. Watched the movie as a kid. Got scared chicken shit. Finally got to read the book when I was in Univ. and got scared chicken shit all over again. But the book is so brilliant! I so love the way how the story seamlessly flow from the past to the present.
3 - Night Watch by Terry Practchett. I love Discworld, and this is definitely one of my top fave. book. It has Vimes, young Vimes, Vetinari, young Vetinari, Time Monks, Death and a hard boiled egg. What's not to love ?
4 - A set of Enid Blyton's books that i can't really recall the actual name now. The Secret Stories or something like that since I got it in an omnibus edition when I was a kid. It's about how 4 kids ran away from their cruel aunt and uncle to a small island nearby. They were then forced to remain in hiding when search parties were sent out for them and had to live on their own the best they can in that inhabited island for a whole year.
5 - The 2nd hand Encyclopedia Brittanica I'd got when I was in Primary School. There were just too many fun hours of me sitting and plowing through the whole set as a kid ( yeah, I was really nerdy and geeky )

Hahaha. They make me more broke than I already am. Plus, I'm an extremely obsessive hyde-fangirl I don't think it's healthy. hyde-fangirling made me says the most shameless things, and it's very embarrassing when I'd sobered up from the initial spaz. I'm not sure about what sort of 'impact' you're talking about, but i guess I'll always have a L'Arc song to relate to my each of moods ( applies to GLAY as well though ^^;; )

2. tell me how you think about the ending of Angel Sanctuary.
To me, the ending ENDS when Alexiel and Lucifer embraced each other. That double page spread was SO worth it T_____T I couldn't care about Setsuna x Sara in the very end though since i felt she made too trouble for some of the other characters ;___; Setsuna is an ass as well too sometimes. It's amazing how sad i felt when the series end as I'd gotten to know a lot of the characters so much, I keep wanting to know how did they fare after everything. And lord, I loved Rociel so much in the last chapter even though I spent the entire time hating him ( I have a love-hate relationship with Rociel heh heh )

3. tell me what you would do if you’re forced to join battle royale game and kill your classmates.
Screw the rules and plot against the admin. I hate it when I'm forced to do something that I'm not willing anyway. I guess that's why Mimura is my fave. character from the movie ;___; my poor poor Mimura ( Well, that is if I am a computer hacking genius and has a terrorist Uncle though )

Me, me and ME. Self centered ? A little, I supposed. I think I'd made all the major decision on what I wanted to do in my life myself. So, I've to deal with it myself as well if it backfires – which is sorta bad as it makes me have a pride the size of Asia. I'm willing to share happy memories and day-to-day event with everyone I know well enough, but kept the sadness to myself, as I hated to let anyone see me cry for personal reason ( anger not included, I usually just rant it out or find someone to kick or plot revenge/confrontation XD )
