How Manaazir Ahl us Sunnah Maulana Ameen Safdar Okarvi Rahimahullah handled troublemakers
Hadhrat Maulana Ameen Safdar Okarvi Rahimahullah was standing at a railway platform waiting to board his train when he was spotted by a group of men belonging to the berailvi sect. They recognized him as a sunni scholar and sought to annoy him. For this purpose they passed by him again and again saying:
الصلوة والسلام عليك يا رسول الله
as-Salaatu-was-Salaamu-alyka-ya-Rasoolallah
(May Salutations and Peace be upon you oh Messenger of Allah)
When they had done this three or four times, Hadhrat Maulana Okarvi (Rahimahullah)calmly remarked:
"I am not the Rasoolullah, you people are mistaken, he (Sallalaahu alyhi wa Sallam) is resting in his grave in Madinah"
The trouble makers were crushed by this reply and did not dare to return.
