Today's topic. I. Hate. Bigots.
Now, why such a start? Well...yesterday I did mention I was going to get my picture taken. That didn't happen today. Nope. Why? *points to the topic* Yup. I've dealt with it all my life. Some people just don't like Asians. Now, I would've put up with it if I hadn't taken SO LONG to dress up and paint my face. I never paint my face. My outfit was cute. My hair was a little weird, but I was cute! C'mon! I never call myself cute. Why is it that the one day I was looking forward to (I hardly look forward to anything anymore...*lies in misery* JK! JK! *laughs*) gets screwed? Booo! *pouts in her corner*
I guess I'm no better than the photographer though. Bigots are people who resent others for their race, beliefs, orientation, etc. And I don't like bigots' beliefs that they are better than everyone else. So...does that make me a bigot? O_o Nooo...*falls*
So yeah. Today was wasted. I was so upset, I sat down and wrote more to one of my more unhappier stories for PPM. It was THAT bad of a day. If it were horrible, I would have written about Jade, Sapphire, or Goshen, Berullos, and Heliodor.
I hope no one thinks I'm really really unhappy or something. o_o I'm just being sarcastic. *laughs* Yeah. Well, there was a good thing about today. I finished my fanart from Shaman King. I'll be doing another one soon. I still need to do a new layout for 2nd Chance: Recurring Dreams...hmmm...who's my lucky victim to be on the layout? *thinks*

11:42 PM
I get to take pictures tomorrow! I'm going to Wal-Mart because they have a $4.88 package. I've got my outfit picked out...it's cute. ^-^ It'll be the first time in a looooong time that I'm getting my picture done with just me in it. The last time I took a pic was the first time with my two friends, Bani and Teds. That was back in February too...Wow...Time flies.
Anyways, I figured out my problem...I was only motivated to draw because I was depressed. I remember when I first moved here in 8th grade. No one wanted to be friends with me (believe me, I tried) and I missed my old group of friends. All around me were people who were friends all their lives. So I drew soooo much. And for some reason, I'm back to being like that. Sad? Draw. Draw? Sad. My mind was set to draw...so the reaction was depression. It's weird being an "artist."
And well...that's not the only thing contributing to it. My dad's in Iraq and college is coming up after I graduate next year. I really bombed at the SAT and ACT (in my opinion, although others think otherwise...) and I'm still confused on my future.
Then there's the problem I really don't like talking about. Boy trouble. Look. I really want a boyfriend. I want someone to hold my hand. Someone to tell me I'm pretty and special and he's so thankful that he has me. Someone who'll buy me gifts and spoil me 'cause I'm a brat. Someone who'll drive me to places and takes me to dinner. Someone who'll just make me h.a.p.p.y. Obviously I've never had one and everyone tells me they're not worth it. *laughs* I'm going to be a senior and I've still never fallen for someone.
Well, the thing is...there's this guy. He calls me. A lot. His friend tells me he wants to ask me out but he's too shy. Well, he called today...and I feel really bad about snapping at him. I mean, why call me so often? I'm not an interesting person, promise. He asks me the same things every time. And he started getting an "authoritive" tone with me. I told him, after he asked me some really personal questions, "I'm sorry, but I have nothing to talk about. I do nothing. I'm a boring person. And when you call me so often, I feel like I'm just wasting your time. Because...honestly, there's nothing really new to talk about. I'm really sorry." He got really scared and said he was sorry over and over. Um. Kay. I feel really bad. ~_~
To sum everything up. Life. Bites. (except for the pictures...YAY to taking pictures tomorrow! and YAY to finishing that oekaki! *laughs*)

The most important event for today? I finished an oekaki I've been working on, on and off, for the past week. Total time spent-31 hours 56 minutes and 21 seconds. Yeah...crazy, huh? This has to be the first oekaki though, that after finishing it, I've not only sighed and thanked my computer for not crashing, but I've also liked. Usually, I draw a picture and finish it, thinking, "Oh goodness, this is ugly. I'm tempted to dump it if I hadn't spent so much time on it." And the more I look at it, the more I hate it. But this pic...I really appreciate it. It features my PPM boys. Jade is the sheriff---perfect for his character. Law abiding, protector of the innocent and helpless. Yeah, something like that. Then there's Topaz, the outlaw. He's fiery, caustic, impulsive, and a trouble maker. *laughs* Finally, there's Sapphire, the bounty hunter. He's out to get our outlaw and cash in. XD I've never done a "western, cowboy" kind of picture. It's fun. I have an idea for a pirates themed one next. Right now, I'm working on fanart from Shaman King. *points to three unfinished pics* It's a fun series. XD
I really have no idea why, but I'm kind of depressed. I mean, I'm happy to finish that picture, but there's just something...really bothering me and bringing me down. *sighs* I'll get over it. XP

2:54 PM
I'm so tired. Today at the library, we only did door prizes and kareoke. Like yesterday, I was in charge of the kareoke. It's sooo much fun! And unlike the Pre-K to 2nd grade group, there were thees two girls who could really sing! Bet they'd try out for American Juniors if they had the chance. ^_^ Some kids though...man...boys...Do I have to say more? They were such brats! "I wanna sing 'Who Let the Dawgs Out?'!" Ummm...the group before you already did. So, shoo. And then some kept cutting. Others tried to steal from the prize table. Oiii...controlling all those greedy brats were so hard. And if that wasn't bad enough, the parents! Why do they ENCOURAGE such behavior? I could see a few parents telling the kids to stand by the prize table. I know a bunch of them huddled around the kareoke machine so their kid could go next when there's a simple formation known as a LINE. Other parents controlled their children and told them to be polite. I congratulate their parenting skills. Last thing I need to see is more brats in the world...
After everyone left, Sarah and I took a microphone and sang "Dancing in the Streets." It's an oldie, but fun. ^_^ We worked so hard doing the prizes and the kareoke we decided we deserved some fun. There was only two parts when the words went too fast for me to catch up. *laughs*
Afterwards my mom and I went to Wal-Mart. We bought french bread. ^_^ Surprise, surprise, I got filled up by french bread and chocolate milk. At least it's all healthy foods.
*yawns* Sleepy. *looks at her quiz results* I don't know much about Dragon Knights, but Lykouleon is cute. XD
My #1 result for the SelectSmart.com selector, Dragon Knights , is Dragon Queen Raseleane (Dragon race)
My #2 result for the SelectSmart.com selector, Dragon Knights , is Dragon Lord Lykouleon (Dragon race)

2:29 PM
Oh man, yesterday I forgot to mention I made someone's day! *hugs Purity* I made her a wallpaper featuring her Casey! Yay! We're doing a competition to see who'll get spoiled first. I started the war and so far I've given her...four attacks. She surprised me after my first attack by sending her own assault. But I'm winning! MWHAHAHAHA! I'll never be defeated! Never! Never! Never! I don't lose, ever! *laughs*
Onto more unhyper news...Look at my quiz results! Yay! My fave charas from Mars!
Man, when I woke up today, I had trouble...I was abnormally tired. *laughs* So I laid around for about twenty minutes before shifting off my bed. I found some Cocoa Puffs and ate that since there's no more Honey Bunches of Oats...my favorite cereal. After munching that away, I got ready to go to the library. I was a lot later today for some reason. (five minutes late X_x) I'm usually punctual...*sighs*
When I got there, the other volunteers had already set up a tent and lined up teddy bears inside. (well, I noticed that there was a koala bear inside. *laughs* Improvising ^^) Today's theme was, of course, bears! The kids came in really excited. I love how bubbly the younger group is! The first little girl jumped up and down, waving for her mother when she was told by Dorothee that they could come in. We had a group of 52 today! It was a lot louder...they must've had a lot of sugar before coming. A girl brought in her own Care Bear. I just thought I'd mention it since Bani loves Care Bears...it was purple though, so she'd curse it. I love purple. ~_~
After all of the dancing and storytimes, the kids made binoculars with toliet paper rolls and "bears in caves"---puppet bears on a popsicle stick and paper bags. I really love how creative a lot of the projects are. I remember using a lot of common household items to make toys. *obviously didn't have many friends*
I was in charge of giving away the 400 and 600 minutes prizes and the stickers. Since only two people actually redeemed their reading minutes for prizes, I didn't have much to do. But kids looove stickers! (I do too! *laughs*) One little girl, though, came up to the 400 minutes prizes (flashlights and harmonicas) and said, "Two please." She thought we just handed them out after watching us give one to a little boy. After we explained she had to read, she rushed to her mother and told her she needed to register and read a lot. *laughs* Kids are so cute. ^-^
Drat...I didn't get to read more of my book. O_O And I missed all my Monday CBS sitcom reruns! NOOO! I was RPing with Bani and there was super cute scenes!
Jade: *blushes even harder* We shouldn't...
Kaze: Shouldn't? *looks at him through three quarter open eyes*
Jade: I feel bad for the friend you like...I'm sorry...I shouldn't have
Kaze: *runs his fingers lightly against Jade's cheek* My friend, is you.
Jade: What? *blinks*
Kaze: It's you.
Kaze: you're about to be going to my school..
Kaze: I just met you.
Kaze: The only one I wanted to kiss..
Kaze: You're my only friend.
Jade: *smiles*
Jade: I don't know what to say...
Kaze: You don't have to say anything.
Kaze: You kissed me.
Kaze: your kiss said everything
Awwwww...*dies* They're too cute. No matter how many times we rewrite their stories, they always fall in love in such adorable ways! One more I gotta share!
Kaze: *walks over to Jade and takes his hand*
Kaze: *sings to Jade*
Jade: *looks into his eyes*
Jade: *smiles at him, missing his part*
Kaze: *stops singing and turns off the microphone*
Kaze: *lowers his hand and lets it fall from his hand onto the floor*
Kaze: I've only known you for a few days, but I already know I'm in love with you.
Jade: *slowly brushes away some of Kaze's bangs*
Jade: *touches his cheek gently with his fingertips*
Kaze: *catches Jade's hand in his own* I never thought I could feel this way. I want to cry, I want to sing, I want to jump for joy.
Kaze: All these emotions are caused by you. *searches Jade's face with his eyes*
Kaze: I love you.
Jade: *drops his microphone and throws his arm around Kaze, laying his head against him, crying slightly*
Kaze: *taken aback*
Kaze: *smiles and holds onto Jade tightly*
Jade: *whispers* You don't know...how much I wanted to hear someone say that
Jade: I'm so glad it could come from someone like you
Kaze: *runs his hand in circular motions on Jade's back* I'm glad I met you.
Kaze: It's just so perfect, like we were meant to be.
Jade: I feel like you completed me *wipes his eyes on his sleeve*
Kaze: *tilts Jade's chin up to face him*
Jade: *feels a tear roll down his cheek*
Kaze: *kisses him softly* Don't cry Angel.
Kaze: We've found each other.
Jade: *smiles* You're right
*laughs* Sorry Bani, but I found those WAY too cute...*sighs*
KT: Someone is getting REALLY sentimental and a romantic...*gasps* Are you FINALLY out of that tomboy phase and a...*gasps again* A GIRL?!
TK: ........*punches KT*
LOOK! LOOK! MY FAVORITE! YAY! I'm soooo glad I got Taikoubou! *dances* His chara matches up with me! YAY!
Okay, what did I do today. *thinks* I read more of the book, made Tuna Helper Fetticini (umm...wish I made the cheesy one...), and watched Jin-Roh. That movie...confused me. O_o I think it's just one of those that you have to watch more than once. Oh well. Great animation and awesome backgrounds! But...I'm not too fond of the art style. *likes bishies* Yeah yeah...I'm a teenage girl. ~_~
Tomorrow at the library the theme is bears! I think we're doing some kind of bear dance...everytime the music stops, you hug someone. *blinks* Awww, that'll be cute to watch. But I have a sinking feeling the volunteers are going to have to take part in it...
*blinks* Okay. Aoshi's cool and all but...I was more hoping for, oh I don't know...Taikoubou? Or maybe Arima? Or Haruhatsu? *laughs* I'll shut up now.
Oh oh, look! I joined a few fanlistings! Never knew what they were until today. I was just looking and reading a few others, trying to get some ideas when I saw some pretty pictures. (yeah, I'm drawn to those bishies...)
I've never mentioned who's on my layout, eh? *points* It's Morgan Li! My nineteen year old fencer boy on PPM! I was so excited to make a blog, I just grabbed one of my artworks and made a banner. *shrugs* That explains the simplicity of this layout. Promise the next one will be much better. ^-^ Next boy is a surprise! XD

The only big thing I did today was perm my mom's hair (I don't mind working with hair...but I doubt I could ever be a hairstylist) and watch the second installment to Fruits Basket. I looove it! (I want the rest!) I wouldn't mind running into the Soumas. *grins*
Anyways, I took a quiz. They're fun. ^-^
KT: I loved the choice, "Look. Foot + kid = unclogged opening." *smirks*
TK: You should. I've done it to you enough times for it to make you think, "Whoa, deja vu!"
KT: ......We've never been to a waterpark.
KT/TK: *deprived*

12:13 AM
...I'm only still awake because I can't sleep. *sweatdrop* I'm going, I'm going. ^^;
*points* I took a DNAngel quiz Bani sent me. She got Dark Mousey. *pouts* These coincidences are...strange...
Well, this is my very first entry to a blog. I've never succeeded in writing more than two entries in a diary, so...let's try something less personal. (Maybe this'll stop my friends from constantly asking, "So, what did you do today?")
Oh yeah, I named my blog "hijada" because "jade" was taken. ~_~ I loooove jades. And one of my favorite PPM characters is Jade. In the RPGs I play with Bani, Kaze calls Jade "Hijada." Yay. Cuteness. ^__^
Hmmm...since my friend Bani is so intent on me writing about her, let's give her her two seconds of fame. (mwhahaha)
Tuesday she stopped by my house, scaring me. I don't get a lot of visitors due to a rumor about two rabid cats patrolling my back doorstep---JK! (Tigger and Simba are really sweet, promise. ^__^) Anyways, she brought over chocolate...frappachino? *wonders if that's right* I've never tried one before. (people say I'm deprived) It was pretty good. I just can't eat too much sweets or I'm super hyper. *laughs* Needless to say, I couldn't sleep until midnight.
Okay! Back to me! Yesterday I finished the book I was reading for the past week---Hero's Song by Edith Pattou. I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, it was a good fantasy novel with a few characteristics not found in cliche fantasy stories. The main character isn't some prideful, power-hungry, adventure-seeking fool. (he actually almost got killed. o_O Something you don't read about often...) Instead, Collun is a farmer forced onto his quest to save his sister. But this also leads him into saving Eirren. *rolls her eyes* Oh well, still a good read. I'll search for the sequel and any others in the series, but I'm in no hurry. ^^; I started The King's Shadow by Elizabeth Alder this morning. No expectations yet...
Today I had to get up at 8:30 AM to go to my 3 days a week of volunteering at the library. Fifty kids (the 2nd through 6th grade group) attended and played several games, from Dot to Dot (aka Human Connect the Dots) to Empty Chair (similar to the Name Game where you try to remember who's who and "invite" them to sit in the empty seat next to you) to Centipede (where you act like the bug and race the other team by cooperation). Not as confusing as the Human Knot from yesterday. XD
Just a few minutes ago, I saw Tuck Everlasting. I really don't know what to think of it. Somehow it didn't grab me as "Awww, sweet!" or a thought provoking movie. I'm not sure I would have done what Winnie did. Immortality is...hard to choose. But who could turn down the thought of living forever with that special someone? ^^;
Well, that's all. This was kinda fun. XD
