Sunday, January 11, 2004 | 09:02 a.m. just woke up about an hour ago from a 14-hour sleep with a 1/2 hour break for dinner... i still feel damn tired... i guess this orientation really drained a lot from me... speaking of orientation, i'm really sad that orientation is over... my OG is really really nice, and i'm really really sad that i'm probably never going to meet then on a regular basis except for an occasional bump-into in the canteen... met some nice people and made friends, altho some of them i didn;t get to know well, we all had great fun over the 5 days esp the last day on the dance party... haha... and at the end orientation comes the start of school, which i'm still inadequately prepared for since i haven't done anything homework or any revision... i think i'm gonna get screwed for f maths test and chem test on wednesday... or something like that... thank god Mr Tan only asked for our physics homework after CNY... haha.. so thats the way it goes... most of the years ones are quite enthu (at least during orientation) and the IP people are really crazy and wild in a good way, and i'm sooo dead for any of my lessons... softball intensive training starts and i'll be DEAD... haha.. ciao Thursday, January 8, 2004 | 06:29 p.m. It's not unusual to be loved by anyone It's not unusual to have fun with anyone But when I see you hanging about with anyone It's not unusual to see me cry, Oh I wanna' die anyone heard of tom jones? haha... this is an old tom jones song.. i think the lyrics are really nice, but the song is so darn happy and poppy that it doesn't suit the lyrics in my opinion i guess the words really suit the mood i'm in, the thoughts i'm thinking and the pile of crap i'm stuck in... for those who know, you'll understand what i'm talking about :) its not jealousy, certainly not jealousy but i just wish it was me... one of my friend's said this, "its not what happends to you that determines your happiness, its how you think about what happens to you". i guess there is some truth in that, so i'll just be treasure the minutes and seconds that i can spend with her... with that, i'm content...UPDATE!!! HCL from squeezing my guts out thinking out it whats worse is that they tell the people who are going to get retained or have to drop sub first and leave them in tears while leaving everyone else on the edge... well i didn't get retained but then i've got many friends who are going to be... and then i got even more friends that are going to have to drop subjects... i haven;t heard from my civics tutor yet so i guess i'm okay... oh yar... i think they told the people who are cleared to take S papers that they can... which just adds to the entire silliness of it all... why don't just realease the god-damn results and then tell us what the hell we can do or not... this is just entirely spastic anywayz, i stuck between feeling sorry for my friends who are getting retained and/or dropping subs and worrying that i have to appeal for the S papers that i want to tkae and feeling sorry for myself knowing that chem/f maths screwed my chances entirely of taking S papers legitimately and oh... chinese AO... lets just forget about that entirely shall we? anything more than a B and i'll drop that f**k-ed langauge post promos suck dead!!! Its true i was watching smallville today with my mom. she keeps asking me what that means, what this means, what is she saying, what is he saying. i mean, what is the damn point of watching television if you don;t appreciate both forms of media provided by the television.. sight and sound.. at least smallville is a story. thank god that shows like CSI or X-files or The Practice are shown at night... at times where she is asleep. met by new class today. some people out, some new people in, not too bad tho... there were a bunch of cedar girls and an st nicks girl who was actually listening to our introductions and stuff, bothering to remember name. we actually had an impromptu class outing at macs at serene. but most of them live at the other end of singapore... so its quite sad that most people in my class from school at bukit timah would live so far away.. sad for them in the sense that they would have to travel far, and sad for me that i would have to go further just to accomadate them... haha i never liked "the bachelor" i think it is quite stupid to publicise your romance developed while having relationships with 6 or more other people at the same time... but i have to admit that some of the girls there are indeed quite attractive... for one, helene on the current season is very very chio.. eye candy for me while i wait for smallville.. hahaWELCOME!!!
