Saturday, October 9, 2004 | 07:24 p.m. okay so this post will be split into 2 grand parts haogenism 107: sense of taste right so we all know that our sense of taste is highly dependent on what we smell right? like how the smells will contribute to the overall flavour and all... but haogenism says otherwise! the sense of taste is highly dependent on.... sight!!! k so i was at the esplanade today, and went to haagen dazs icecream and i got served by a super chio waitress! (k so shes not thaaat chio.. sue me :P) and when she said "enjoy your food" i was thinking "damn right i'll enjoy it, you fine piece of a$$" hahahahah... so guess what? i enjoyed my food!!! hahahah so therefore i can conclude that sight has an effect on taste... hahahhahaha oh turns out that the icecream cone she gave me had the wrapper from thep revious cone, so i kinda complained and got another scoop!! yum yum!! mamma mia! mamma mia was fantastic!! hahah overall it was quite nice, tho there was some parts that were quite draggy... omg they can all sing and dance so well!! wah... and the ending is super nice la... haha the whole theatre was jumping up and down... hahaha but there were a disproportionate number of old aunties.. i guess they are all hardcore fans of abba hahaha... go watch it if you can!! its really really good!! k ciao p.s. i saw felicia chin today!! that star search winner person last year (i think) wah shes ultra chio la... hahaha but she was with some guy so...... damn :Phappy day miserable night Friday, October 8, 2004 | 09:27 p.m. wellll lets see, been a while since i updated so lets get a recap *insert cool animated logo SMACKDOWN REBOUND ala WWE* got back prelims results: ACCC with the single A for maths C, gp b3 , physics S 55 and maths s 16... seriously it was a little dissapointing for me, esp for physics since i thought i could get an A, and then maths s just sucked balls... and then my gp ler... haiz... must get a1!!! to get into law fac haha and before most of you day stuff like "wah so good still complain", i have to say that i'm competing against myself... and its just dissapointing that i couldn't get what i thought i could... well on to happier, cheerful stuff!! well kat xiaowei xiaomin shawn celebrated my birthday!! (albeit a little late) haha together with xiaowei's and shawn's and we went to engkong park to eat a donut(?!?!? kats idea) bu the presents were really great!! haha had such a fun time playing sparklers and talking nonsense and trying to light the candles in the wind hahaha even though it was slightly ruined by my retarded parents who called me to go back... grrr ya then nothing much happened liao la... so boring everyday in school mugging so bored!! Sunday, May 2, 2004 | 09:18 p.m. hahaha well got a chem test tomorrow and i'll SO not prepared... well just gonna concentrate on the newer topics.. which is what they should be testing one... and try to remember the older ones lar... and its a lecture test, so i can always rely on tharsis... hahaha... eh went for VJ funfair yesterday... not very fun lar... no atmosphere... but i managed to spend some time with her so i guess its worth it... haha... saw many people there.. haha alexis, jan, liyan, francine, thang, lihang, etc etc... oh yar and glenn in the carrot suit!! hahaha super funny manz... after that went to eat dinner at yoshi at plaza sing with her and her friends... haha not bad lar... haha must be my excellent inter-personal skills :D haha and i bought a new wallet!! woohoo!!! stussy!! haha its "minimalistic", which is just another word for "fabric with nothing but a printed logo to rocket the price sky high" hahaha anyway i'm taking donations for "GEt haogen a carrot suit" fund :D well i'm dead for chem ciaoyawnz Monday, April 26, 2004 | 10:13 p.m. haha glad to see people are actually bothering to check my blog even tho i'm quite notorious for not updating regularly =p well nothing really interesting is going on.. i f-ed up my CTs, retaking chinese, actually scored lower than domonic (which is a new low... egads!) eh training is kiling me in terms of time management... its like too tired to do anything but sleep eh softball nationals? eh not going too well... definitely not as glorious as the track girls (ahem siqi... =P) haha we like lost all our matches so far... its not like we are lousy, its just that there is a single weak point to the whole team... also known as the pitcher... i mean there is nothing the rest of the 8 fielders behind that dumbass can do if he KEEPS GIVING AWAY WALKS!!! eh thats softball lingo for you... oh yah i scored against RJ! hahaha scored the only run some more... something like the saving grace of NJ, tho i didn;t really do much it was a walk.. hahaha but i still claim full credit! hehe... anyway i got this new (racist) theory about why you shouldn't stand near indians when there is lightning... basically it revolves around the photoelectric effect, which says that a electron it emmited when a photon of sufficient energy is absorbed. now indians appear dark, cause they absorbed light.. so logically, they absorb photons and therefore they emmit electrons!! hahaha which makes them a better conductor of electricity than us fair-skinned fellas... hahaha... so watch out siqi! dun stand near cummaran when there is lightning... and ekkiat... haiz quite hard lar considering there are 3? (or less) non-indians in the entire cricket team... sigh... what kind of casket do you want kiat? haha i just realised that if you cut the song "My Band" by D12 right, you can make it loop infinitely!! woohoo!!! hahaha k enuff of my bull ciao dudes i'm dead for CTs Thursday, March 18, 2004 | 11:35 p.m. omg!! i can't believe it!!! they kicked out leah labelle from American Idol... there goes my eye candy... haha i seriously think that she is the only one that is quite chio.. maybe except for camille who looks quite cute.. haha but leah is better :) maybe its because i always had a thing for eastern european looking gals... hahahah :D skipped smallville this week after the first 15 mins... it was obvious that the story that week for about clark and the public finding out his secret (oooh... imagine the consequences...) rather than the love story between lana and clark... well... crappy nonsense about clark equals no lana equals teenie screen time equals smallville not worth watching... haha... die lar... i'm gonna get Fs for CTs.... die... got softball the whole week and so tired cannot study... even if i studied i wont be able to so well lar... sian... hope can appeal to keep my S... and i'm really quite tired of people saying that i don't need to study cause they think i'm smart... seriously even smart people need to study... and 3 days is not enough time for person who hasn't been doing his work consistently since orientation... even if he IS a genius... gd luck to those studying for promos... ciao...smallville!! Tuesday, March 9, 2004 | 10:40 p.m. ok ok i admit it... i don't really care for the storyline of the silly show. i just watch it to watch someone.. haha kristin kruek!! haha so chio :) sianz did my f maths test today which i skipped cos i went for the stupid physical test for the SAF... its amazing when you study for something then you end up doing better for the part you didn't study for... haiz... i think i gonna fail liao... typing this while watching smallville... kristin kruek!! so chio!! just got drugged by some evil neighbour... haha... should i retake my chinese? bleah... teacher say will affect chances of getting scholarship, which my parents want me to get cos they can't afford my further education... :(i'm like... so wateva... Sunday, March 7, 2004 | 09:14 p.m. wah... woke up feeling like shit.. dunno why... then my dad insisted on watching f1 racing, which in my opinion, is one of the most retarded sports ever cause there is like 54 f**king laps to watch and its almost sure that shumacher (or however you spell his name) will win... and he did... went to watch cheerleading finals.. quite sad that nj didn't win anything... altho they put in alot of hard work... but the thais were like damn good lar... one of the girls flew like suuuupppeeerrrrr high... wtf... i don't even want to start gussing the amt of time put into perfecting their routine and stunts... ok gotta start doing chem... ciaowhy can't i ever think of interesting headers? Saturday, March 6, 2004 | 09:24 p.m. wah tiring day sia... went in the morning to buy new boots... they're quite cool! nike grey... and chrome... or so says the packaging... haha eh... then i went to vj to play softball friendly... saw glenn yongzz... haha didn;t know he was in hockey... then i went to school for chinese drama rehearsals... which sucked cos they were already done with the play i was involved in... got a big headache and ate panadol and slept in the LT... haha oh yar... CNY is here!!! more MONEY!!! had a blast today helping terra out at the bazaar! we made a lot of money, about 300+! really really fun shouting to get people to buy! and met lots of cool terra year ones today! this year is shaping out to be quite good for terra! went to school a bit later then usual :) and after assembly proceeded straight to linkway, help set up the stalls, thanks hasan for helping :) terra sold kacang putih, cookies, drinks, and lots of other stuff... and it was SO FUN!!! hahaha i was standing there and waving the house flag and shouting and waving and shouting!! hahaha...then an impromptu cheearing competition btwn me and aerius... hahaha obviously i won :) then it slowly degraded to "get a free chunky monkey autograph" type of advert... haha... seems like quite a few terra people are quite enthu about these house thingys... well those at the bazaar anyway... i dunno abt the rest of the competitions tho *shrugs* well hope you readers getlots of ang baos, then you can all treat me to food!!! hahaha ciao monkey business Saturday, January 17, 2004 | 09:58 p.m. yes lets all queue up now and say "chunky" together shall we? :) for those who don't know, publicity for Chinese New Year celebs involved me acting as a fat monkey called chunky and simply behaving retarded in front of the entire school... for some odd reason it was funny and crap wolves just took the lead against man u... not good... sir alex better sub some good players out now anyway thanks for the well-wishes.. i'm feeling much better now :) ciao |
