errant taxi drivers

if there is one thing that pisses me off the most, its errant taxt drivers. esp right after i book out, and i'm heading home, either some dumbass driver refuses to accept my business, or decides to drive some stupid long way that would cost my an extra 1 buck. OR drives at some insanely fast speed, that would have me sliding on the smooth back seats on the taxi. irritatingly annoyingly irritating.

seriously, if i were a taxi driver, i would drop my passengers as quick as possible! cos when you pick up a new passenger, its 2.50 right in the pocket, while you only earn 10 cents a km while driving...

its all a matter of net gain

speaking of gained, i put on like... 2 kg? haha 2 consecutives weekends of icecream eating and no exercise = 2kg addition... sigh i'm gonna have to actually exercise this week egads!

oh busted my knee last monday while *ahem* exercising ahha... climbed over the gate after playing soccer and landed wrongly, so my left knee got quite an injury haha walked with a limp for quite a while after that hahah sounds quite loser right? :P

anyway i'm now posted to School of Combat Engineers at Nee Soon Camp as a medic, which means i'll be kinda baby sitting all the trainees while they do their stuff and tend to an occasional injury.. other than that is quite a slack job tho i unluckily got hit by double weekend duty this month... kinda sucks...

managed to catch hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy with hilda the other day... i thought it was quite nice, but when i asked around it seems i was the only person who thought it was nice la!!! haha but it really is quite funny what!!! hahaha singing dolphins and a super depressed robot haha...

speaking of depressed, yeah been kinda depressed a while back but its much better now :) thanks friends! haha but sometimes i'll have these spells of depression... damn i need to see a psychologist! haha but really, i think i need to be stronger! mentally! (cos physically i cannot make it :P) and try to forget the past!

its weird how we can remember the things we wanna forget, and can forget the things we wanna remember. i need a good knock on the head. by a speeding car.

sigh i was forced to get a haircut, and thereby destroying my dreams of a super funky big curly thick afro nesting itself on the top of my head! :P

but seriously, the army makes it so much that almost everyone has the same haircut! well they can be generally divided into 3:
1) botak a la BMTC 2) extremely short side and longer top a la SISPEC and crazy-lunatic sergeants who sign on
3) long hair reserved for people with natural especially soft hair, or people who are crazy to rebond their 4mm long hair

since i have thickass stiffass bummedout hair, guess which one i have!! (number 2 if you didn't guess)

now i look like a retard

no wonder they force us to wear those stupid cap/berets... so that the public won't see that you look ridiculous while serving your nation :P

yup bought a brand new levi's bag! for 150 bucks tho qutie ex but its so nice! haha... its like a denim bag and it has cool looking iron on patches in the front haha... wells i bought it cause i wanted a bigger bag for camp, so that i can bring more clothes... budden a good looking bag never hurt anyone! hahaha now i'm aiming for a cool looking (preferably cheaper) pair of shoes hahah oh and a pair of pants/jeans plus non-whtie tshirts...

wells went out with the house reps today, a day of wasted money and time hahah... i went to west mall to get my IC sized photos, then went to orchard to meet them cos they were having lunch there, so i took the mrt for like 50 mins. upon reaching orchard mrt, they told me they were are cineleisure so i walked there, by then, they were already done la, so we stood outside there for quite awhile.. then they wanted to go to laserquest (which i thought didn't exist anymore) which is at BUKIT GOMBAK MRT!!! then i took all the way back la... wasted so much time and money travelling one big round hahahah... you think it ends there?

nope

laserquest was booked by bratty kids for their birthday bash(es)

so we decided to GO BACK TO WEST MALL!!! OMG!!! ARGH!!!!

never has standing still been so potentially rewarding haha

wah damn sad haha i spent my good friday at nee soon camp, doing guard duty la.. anyway, i stood at the same spot for 9 hours, for 2 hours each time and 4 hours break in between.. stand until my legs were sore...

standing there for 2 hours were SUPER boring staring at leaves rolling by, an occasional car, trying to see what kind of ranks people get in nee soon camp... at least it wasn't that bad la.. the guard rest room had a dvd player, and we were watching movies! hahah national security, whats the worse that could happen, not bad la haha...

standing there alone for 2 hours, i did a lot of thinking, about.... stuff... like life, my friends, school, the stupid army, the people around me, esp "her"...

god i realised i wasted a lot of time, emotions, energy on such a... futile thing... the more i think i about it, i feel that i such a FOOL! being toyed around with, being a substitute, a standby, HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID! and willingly BE USED!!

why can't i control myself? control how i feel about people... I'M SUCH AN IDIOT! even though it was SO DAMN OBVIOUS that its one-way, even tho i've asked and been rejected, even tho all my (real) friends tell me to forget her and i can't... why CAN'T I FORGET! I'M SUCH A DAMN FOOL!

yups postings are out and i got posted to be *drumroll* a COMBAT MEDIC!!! hahaha which kinda sucks but meh... like i have a choice

so i'll be lugging along a stretcher, and a medical supplies bag everywhere i go next time, but not before i undergo training, which includes poking needles into my buddy's arm to find viens, to treat fractures and blah blah...

sounds disgusting

wells i'm really ok with it, so you all can keep all your concern ahhaha... going to OCS would be nice, only cause of the extra cash... i dun really care about the army anyway its just something i have to do... haha

wells i just bought a new computer game! haha sid meier's PIRATES!!! hahaha super fun... if any of you played civilisation before, its sooomething like that... more fun tho... hahaha
