Friday, August 22, 2003Day 5 at WorkFiling, Faxing, Tender online checking, Photocopying 2 sided or reduce the paper size print... Sound like some office gal job rite?
Yup, that is wat the Sales Dept start me with. Currently learn all the features of the photocopy machine. It's pretty fun. Get to do alot of weird things with it. Like I had said it before, time pass very slow around here. It takes forever to go lunch and lets dont talk about waiting for going home. 12 weeks IAP and I m not even done with 7 days yet!
Miss my guy... this week is taking too long for the weekend to arrive. Miss watching tv without falling sleep on the sofa and i miss my computer too!! My bed, blanket, pillows and my duckie!!! >_< Homesick now.

Wednesday, August 20, 2003Day 3 at WorkGetting used to the sunny weather and dry humid atmosphere.. Nose no longer running nor sneezing and I m being posted to the Sales and Marketing Dept. Currently sitting at one of the gals table and trying some tender online searching. Partly she is on half day leave hence I get a chance to use the INTERNET!! Then again, cos the entire Sale Dept. only I'm ard, my heart skipped a beat whenever the phone rang. Still very new about the amount and quality of the concrete. So when they start bombing me with questions, I panicked.
Time passed pretty slowly down here. Reason might be the only time we had break was lunch, which last an hour (include driving out of the industrial area ). Plus I'm not posted an actual assignment yet, spent most of my time dazing & dozzing off to sleep at me little corner.
By the way. Update on movie :DOWN WITH LOVE
It's good, humorous, light hearted romantic show! Watched it last night with Atiqah and we got really good seats which were free! Had great laughs throughout the entire show. Sadly, Amos still thinks that he is too 'man' for love stories. MCPYo_chan squeaks*break glass* at 02:29 p.m.
Monday, August 18, 20031st day at workWent all the way to Tampines and waited for the mini bus to get to the work place. Guess wat.. the mini bus broke down. >_< an OMEN! BAD ONE! It was the 1st time the bus ever broke down as recalled from the gals who took taxi with me.
As for where I work... it is a construction site kinda building which look and feel so shaky! There are concrete trucks, planting and sand and more sand and hel more sand. Just wat kinda company is that? A concrete manfacturating and delivery company!
When the truck run by.. the sand fly as high as 2 man height... -___-* so dusty.. running nose the entire day !
Go ahead, Laugh.. It makes no sense to me either. Wat is an MIT student doing at there... *sigh~ As for my desk, I be bring cloth to clean the place tml. It is dust everywhere.
So wat abt the computer then, you might ask? Well, as most have guessed.. it is a computer that is even older than my old pc. I m working with a machine ( if u even call it that ) of 15in. monitor, WIN95 with no floppy disc/zip disc/cd drive and no internet access! Just how do you expect any work done with THAT! -____-*

Friday, August 15, 2003Last 2 days in this cold glass cage which we called our 2nd home. Gonna miss all the "jail birds" that had shared this past 12 weeks of stress, tension, laughters.I hate the company I attached to. When I rec'd the paper, I almost screamed. It's HQ is at TUAS~ Pretty far from EVERY POINT of Singapore. "Luckily", I wasnt post there. I m posted to Tampines office. -__- I know.. wat's the diff.
Checked out the map from streetdirectory.com, it is freaky woo loo ( translate: quiet and not many people know ) place. There is a row of temples and even a MONASTERY!!! Then the opps. is constuction area with lots of foreign workers.. -__- My school is treating me as if I m a guy.
How can you treat a gal like this! >_< It is horrible! I have to take this mini bus every morning and if I m late, I had to walk in or take a cab in! AND the allowance! I doubt that is wat I WORTH! ::sob:: this sucks.

Wednesday, August 6, 2003Another entry about training with BombFunny yet thank god, we didnt do mass stretching.. Tried doing some warm-up and my joints at the legs to the hip hurts whenever I want to stretch lower. >_<
We practiced on basket toss. Did the basic launching onto the stunt, then followed by the launching off the stunt into the mid air. This time instead of using the shoulders to gain more height, we used the hip & groin. Now the exhausting part, Bomb made us jump up and down non stop. I think I took so much more time than Azzy did cos I didnt really get it within the first few rounds.
He is too patience and determine to make sure I get it that night. The same bases who never took a break after azzy and I switch ( sorry guys ) kept me going till ard 10pm. >_< Not able to concenrate and the jumps just get weaker and messy.
End of the session.. bomb pointed out at me and said," I wan. you to. lose weight. 45kg, okay~ ? "
::sweatdrop:: yes, got all the diet tips from everyone and hell no rice/noodles for the entire program and max. only 1 serving a wk. Given 2 months to all that. -___- I bet 50bucks I cant make it.

Sunday, August 3, 2003Living Hell~I think I had been stretched enough to last me a week.
Yesterday once I reached the training ground, I warmed up and was dragged to aside to stretch my legs. We did all the basic, then moved to hard stages. The one that killed me was the front split.
Bomb got me in a ready position with both my arms held in the air, he then pushed me down to split. I was an inch away from the ground, and GOD~ It hurts sooo much~ I wanted out, but Bomb was controlling the movements as he was grabbing onto my hands and pushed me down whenever I wanted to get up. Till the end the pain was so bad that I screamed and started to cry. Bomb finally let me go, and the front split leg ( right leg ) went totally numb while the back thigh felt like it was been relocated.
All that? Took up 2hrs... YES I was stretched For 2 hours! BEN! WAT U TRYING TO DO? BREAK ME LEGS? If in a month, I cant do split or lose a few pound.. I m gonna *bish bish bish bish * u...
As for stunts, we attempted front summer in air. Was freaking scary at 1st. After all while, was kinda fun expect for once I bump me nose >_<

Saturday, August 2, 2003Last night was CRAZY~Went to NP for the hip hop dance event to perform, and there was the Miss/Mr NP thingy running. Darn, NP guys are so cute! Well, at least they bother with their dressing & hair, unlike the ones in ::ahem::
Kinda regreted going into the crowd and dance. It was fun dancing to loud music, but the guys there were kinda agggressive. It like we ( the dance co.) were happy dancing, then this guy just squeeze himself in and lit. 'rub' again us. After that another, and another and another one. ::sweatdrop:: fact.. practically everyone who study in NP does that 'rubbing dance' in the party.
Galfriends teased me abt being popular in there as in the end one of my guyfrens had to 'protect' me by being there dancing with us.
Ha, in the end we are all 75% deaf due to the speaker blasting at our ears. Currently now, my ears are still "ringing". My tummy is aching due to all that shaking and jumping up and down. My left calf muscle is straining more than yesterday ( thanks for the tiger palm stickers Maya~ ) and later on.. I have cheer training with the gang plus our thai fren "BOMB" ( that was his nick name )

Friday, August 1, 2003Yup, tonite is the hip hop dance nite at NP. Kinda nervous, and trying very hard not to feel that BIG butterfly that is flip its wings in my tummy.Worry I cant perform well.. Yes I got a hang of it within a short period ( fact : 2 nites of practice ) But now is my left leg is aching. Seems like I either pull the muscle or too heaty.. cant walk properly.. >_< getting that tiger palm sticker later. Hope that MSC have that item, else I'll be literally hopping around.
There is an international match btw Singapore with either HK or Japan ( cant remember ) on coming Mondat night, want to go cheer them on.. but that night I having AGM in school!!! :stomp stomp with right leg: ARgggh~
Lastly.. to that mean person that said horrible things abt Akane, if you have a comment say it but insulting and calling names? Grow up..

Mom bought me a gem bracelet yesterday, think it is called the ocean blue gem.It look kinda green when I wore it.. but if put on a white cloth or in the water, it's nice clear blue color. Very pretty and wat I heard it's pretty rare too. ::sweatdrop:: Heard it is good to calm short hot tempers and ease stress... It mixed with some white crystal so that help to clear me blur mind
In short, I m a hot temper blur sotong. -_- Thanks mom.. I really like that bracelet though you are indirectly 'mocking' your own kid.
Had Vesper committee meeting last nite.. Changes, squad rules blah blah blah.. >_< So much to do and too tired to really bother all of it. Oh well.. heard currently there is another cold war in Denvers. Kinda think of it, we had too much civil war to run ard. *yawn~ I mean if you really cant live with it, tell that person. Let's dont drag others in, shall we? =.= my eyes are soo tired~ help~

Ben managed to contact a Thailand yell leader who is currently studying in Singapore. His name is prounced as "bomb". The actual writing and meaning? >_+
Anyway.. He is really good in wat he does! He noted the flaws and used the simplest english to explain. Then again it's kinda funny cos all the flaws he pointed out are the basics.. ::laughs:: Guess there is always a difference between taught by local ( Ben ) and a foreigner. Both taught the same thing but somehow wat Bomb said is something very new though Ben taught that on the very day we started to cheer. Poor Ben~ *sayang sayang*
