Xmas Lists! (Wednesday, November 15, 2000 08:38 a.m.)
Not only my Xmas list, but Heather's (otherwise known as "things we want for the condo"), Tim's and Shannon's.

Stupidest Thing You've Ever Done (Saturday, October 21, 2000 06:48 p.m.)
I really like reading about stupid things ordinary people have done. Then, when I feel all superior, I realize that Tim tricked me about the ending of this movie.

Uber Lego Fun (Sunday, October 15, 2000 11:07 a.m.)
It's things like this that make me laugh when kids try to tell me they have it hard. I'll tell you now, that if I was a kid and had Mindstorms Lego, I'd be a real recluse. Well, more than I am now or was back then.
Found on Slashdot

New Computer (Sunday, October 15, 2000 11:04 a.m.)
Well, I finally have my new comptuer. P3-800e, GeForce DDR, 128Mb PC133 RAM, 20G 7200rpm HDD.
Why am I putting this here? Because I can finally brag about my computer. Thanks go out to Tim for helping me decide on the parts, and Jason (no page) for helping me put it together.

Trudeau article (Thursday, October 12, 2000 09:16 p.m.)
A nice little piece about Pierre Trudeau on Kuro5hin. Just thought I'd have SOMETHING about the man on my site. They don't make politicians like him anymore.
And the world is a lesser place because of it.

Email Tax! It's True! (Monday, October 9, 2000 08:45 p.m.)
Sigh. Even the media gets sucked in by these. The sad part about those hoax emails that float around the internet all the time is that you usually don't get just ONE copy of it. No, it's all of your techno-illiterate friends and family that send you a copy.
I think from now on I'm going to direct every person that sends me an email hoax to here.

Kuro5hin (Sunday, October 1, 2000 09:47 p.m.)
Everyone who's computer literate in some fashion knows about Slashdot, but I think I like Kuro5hin a bit more. Less news-y, more discussions, and a lot less "You suck!" posts.

Barenaked In America (Sunday, October 1, 2000 09:22 p.m.)
Bravo to the boys from Scarborough! I think it's getting a little tiring for my girlfriend and work friends that I keep saying "I went to school with them!" and "I knew them before they were famous.", but I am that proud that they've made it so big and haven't changed a bit.
Ebert's review of the movie is good, but I get the feeling that you'll only see this movie if you like the band. I mean, how many people saw "Rattle and Hum" and didn't like/know the band? Actually, considering it grossed only $8.6million, I guess not that many people saw it at all...

"He's a potato. That's why he's brown," (Friday, September 29, 2000 09:48 p.m.)
I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and realize that not EVERYTHING has to be offensive to somebody. I'm not sure I'd want to live in a town where there is an "affirmative action officer". I decided to go here to restore my faith.

Microsoft Automated Spam (Thursday, September 28, 2000 12:47 a.m.)
Surely Microsoft understands that this just isn't right. The feature that lets you automatically notify the people in your email address book about your change in email address is a good one. But did they really think no one would care about the "spamvertising" at the bottom of the message? Silly Microsoft kids!

The Simpsons Archive (Tuesday, September 26, 2000 12:52 p.m.)
All things great and small about The Simpsons tv show can be found here. It's phenomenal that an animated series can be on the air for so long. Throw in the fact that it debuted on what was a "fringe" network at the time, and it's more amazing.
Did I mention that it's the best show in history?

Mooselessness (Tuesday, September 26, 2000 12:04 p.m.)
My friend Tim's web log. Lots of different links and topics.
