10:51 p.m. - Eurgh.

I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense. *sigh* Finals season has begun and I'm already neck deep in final exams and reports. Actually, I've finished one final exam today so there's 3 more to go; one tomorrow, one on the 22nd and one on the 25th. I also have one report to present this Friday. And finally, I have a term paper that's due to be submitted at the end of the month.

I dunno, but I've been feeling really lethargic these past few days. It could just be because of the heat. On the other hand, I might just be plain lazy. Lolz.

Incidentally, I already mentioned that I've been applying to a lot of companies for an on the job training position. So far it has been a complete fiasco. Allow me to bore you with the details.

See there's this auditing firm that called first. I'm gonna call it A from now on. So A called up and asked if I was still interested in becoming an intern. And seeing as A is really the company that I wanted to work for during the summer, I readily said yes, I'm interested. A now tells me that they need interns right away, as in ASAP. Too bad, I have finals. I told A this. A says, ok, then send me your schedule for March and we'll see what we can do. Of course, that statement gives me reason to believe that I've already been accepted and that the only thing left to do now is to arrange a schedule that'll work for me and A.

Still with me? Good. ^_^ So anyhow, while I'm still elated with this development, another company calls me up. Let's call this one C. Now C wants me to come in for an interview. And me, being the fool that I am, declined, coz I already accepted A's offer. Well guess what? Turns out A couldn't accommodate me after all coz the sched difference was just too much to handle.

So here I am now, stuck without clear prospects as to where I'm gonna work for the summer. Well, I did call up C again and asked if they wouldn't mind if I asked to be given an interview. C told me that their interview schedule for this week was sorta full but that they still have my resume and stuff. C said they'd just call me up about it.

Now I'm just cooling my heels and twiddling my thumbs waiting for C to call. Of course, I'm also hoping that some other company's gonna call me up to ask me in for an interview.

I was really pissed off at A coz of the misunderstanding. It wasn't completely their fault, but I still can't forgive them for potentially ruining my chance to get into C. In which case, I'll just have to pray really hard that there's another company waiting to accept me.

Aahh... I haven't even really stepped into the "real world" yet but I'm already having troubles. That says a lot as to how my life's gonna be like after one year. *sigh* Not a good prospect.

10:00 a.m. - Swimming!!!

Yesterday was our organization's anniversary celebration and we went to this mini-resort, i guess you could call it. Hehehe. Anyway, we had our JPIA Cup, which is a sort of Amazing Race-like contest wherein groups of 4 people each compete to win the prize money. The prize isn't really that big. It's really just because it's tradition that people are excited to join. That plus the fact that it's outrageously fun. ^_^

That happened before lunch. After which we ate our lunch with relish. Obviously, we were all very tired and hungry after the Cup. We played a few rounds of bridge while digesting our lunch. We didn't want to sink to the bottom of the pool by going swimming immediately after lunch.

Well, there I was, Ms. Unprepared coz I didn't bring any shorts with me and pants weren't allowed in the pool. So I had to go around asking people if they have extra short. Luckily for me, one of my friends who was planning on goind swimming, had er... how do I put this delicately... well, let's just say that it was "that time" of the month for her. So she lent me her shorts, which were WHITE. Needless to say, the minute it got drenched, it turned transparent on me.

Now, that wouldn't have been a bad thing if I was wearing a bathing suit underneath. But no... Only a few of us brought bathing suits and the majority chose to just go in in our underwear. Of course, we had shirts and shorts on. ^_^ Anyway, like I was saying, the shorts went transparent on me and I had to quickly jump into the pool so that my underwear wouldn't be made available for public viewing.

The swimming itself was loads of fun. Our president brought an inflatable bed that we floated in the pool. Now everyone wanted to get on top so they were fighting it out to get on top. The rest of us who weren't interested on getting on the bed joined in the battle just to make sure that people who did manage to get on, were promptly dumped back into the water. Hehehe. I know, we were completely evil and we loved it! Suffice it so say that we were acting like children instead of college students.

Another problem now comes up. How the heck am I gonna leave the pool without advertising my underwear? Well, fortunately, my friend lent me his towel to cover up while I went to get my stuff. Problem solved. ^^

Ahh... it was really fun, primarily because the people I was with were loads of fun themselves. I think if I went with my family, I wouldn't have had as much fun. No offense to my family members.

Wahhh!!! I want to go swimming with my orgmates again!!! Hehehe. And next time, I'm gonna make sure I bring a dark colored pair of shorts and a bathing suit as well. ^_^

10:41 p.m. - Job Hunt

I've been applying at various companies to become a trainee this summer. ^_^ I'm not particularly keen on working during my vacation. It's just that I want to know what's waiting for me out there after I graduate. I only have one more year to go.

So far I think I've applied at around a dozen companies. Hehehe. My friends and I just wanted to find out whether we have what it takes to be accepted in a legitimate company. And anyway, It's sorta fun, handing your resume to the company representatives. Plus, some of them give freebies! They're not much but they're still free. LOL!

I'm so tired. *rubs eyes sleepily* We went to two government agencies today for research on our term paper and that got us nowhere. *sigh* So tomorrow we're going to another agency to see if we can get something from them. I just hope we won't be wasting our time again. Ja!

10:24 p.m. - The Last Samurai

My family and I went to watch The Last Samurai yesterday afternoon. And I must say, it was money well spent. The movie was a bit long, i think a little over 2 hours. I can't really remember coz we went in before the movie ended and had to wait for the next showing to watch it from the beginning.

Too bad my mom didn't appreciate it coz she doesn't understand the samurai way of life and culture. I'm not saying that I understand it fully but I do know a little about it and my mind is open to such ideas. My mom is much too set in her ways to accept new ideas.

While watching the movie, I found myself wishing that I had lived during those times. I mean, I wanted to experience living the way they do. Back then, they had no cases, no reports, no exams. They loved close to nature and learned to defend themselves from childhood. Well, more for the guys than the girls. I dunno if you get my drift but I don't particularly care. Just wanted to rant or something. ^_^

On another note, summer is fast approaching. Our university is currently having a job fair for graduating students. The good thing is, the companies that are invited are also interested in hiring trainees, which means that I can go there and apply or something for my on the job training for the summer. I know it seems weird to want to have a job during vacation but I just wanted to experience what it's like to have a job. That way, I won't be taken by surprise when it's time for me to actually work.

Maa... I'm gonna go now. I wonder what's showing in Animax...

11:34 p.m. - Fanlisting Spree!!

Hehehe. Just as my entry title says, I've been going to TheFanlistings.org and looking for FLs to join. I dunno, I just suddenly felt the urge to do that. *shrug*

Anyway, another exam down and 2 more to go for this month. I swear, my professors are punishing us for enjoying Christmas vacation by making us suffer all throughout January. I have like 4 or 5 cases, and 2 of those have my group as the reporting group. Also, I've had 2 exams already and 2 more to go, as i mentioned. Oh and there's also the reporting for my Law subject on January 30. ARRGGGHHH!!!

I can do this. I will survive.....

11:38 p.m. - *hums*

Nothing much, really. I haven't been sleeping well these past few days and I've been letting all my school stuff pile up on me. I really have no idea why I do this to myself. I'm either too lazy or I don't particularly care. *shrug*

Anyhow, just wanted to drop by. Gotta go to sleep now. Have to wake up at 5:30 tomorrow morning. Blech.

04:33 p.m. - Whew!

Well, my Finance exam is over now. Surprisingly, it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. But then again, just because it wasn't difficult doesn't mean I'll get a high score. But I hope I will. Hehehe.

And I've finally seen The Return of the King!!!! Yay!! Legolas is way cute and Aragorn was simply too handsome and gentlemanly for his own good. No wonder Eowyn fell for him.

I'd give you guys a full report except that I'm currently suffering from stomach cramps coz it's "that time" of the month. *sigh* So I have this hot water bottle pressed against my belly while I type this entry with my right hand only. ^^;

09:30 p.m. - Hell Week

Well, it's the first week back to school. And it's been like hell to me. I guess I enjoyed my Christmas vacation too much and did absolutely nothing related to schoolwork. So now I'm suffering with multiple requirements that need to be done at either the same time or consecutively. I haven't had proper rest for days!

*sigh* So now, instead of stuying coz I have an exam for my Finance class this Saturday or rehearsing for our report tomorrow, I'm feeling melancholic again. I don't want to do anything except rest. And yet, I can't rest coz I always think that I have to do SOMETHING. It's driving me crazy!!!

I can only hope that the following weeks will get better.

10:07 p.m. - Odd Archives

Argh! I just realized another problem I'e encountered coz of Piczonline!!! My archive pages are now ruined! Since I can't edit the archived pages, and since the pics there are linked to piczonline, The archives will appear as just plain pages with weird things on them.

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

09:50 p.m. - Damn Piczonline!

Arghh!!!! Just when I was so happy about my new layout the stupid Piczonline decided to discontinue their free image hosting. Ugh. Well, I actually have no right to complain but it still sucks.

So I had to go on a frantic search to look for an alternative. Thank God I found one right away. It's at http://gallery.cybertarp.com and I suggest anyone looking for free image hosting to try it out. The only drawback is that you can't upload css files. I had to link my css file from my geocities account. But it's ok now. P-chan works fine again. ^^

And now I have to go coz I have loads to do. I can't believe that I've only been back to school for 2 days. *sigh*

08:20 p.m. - First Entry

Right. So this is my first entry for the year 2004. ^_^

To start it off, I just wanted to announce that I have been totally idiotic about the Animax thing. *sdrop* It seems I misunderstodd the advisory about the test broadcast. The regular broadcast will only start on January 19 at 5 P.M.. In the meantime, the channel is showing commercials of the anime that will be shown.

And one of those is Getbackers!!!!! Yayy!!! And the good thing is, it's gonna be shown on Sunday evenings at 9:30 so I'll definitely be able to watch it. Nyahahhaa!!! Finally! I've been hearing such good things about it.

Also gonna be shown are Astro Boy, Ultra Maniac, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Chobits... and.... er... *sheepish* I forgot the others. Anyway, I'll have to wait and see if there are any other good animes that will be shown.

New topic. ^_^ My mom, little sis and I went to watch the Beauty and the Beast by Disney on Ice. Obviously, the performers were skating. Hehehe. It was really good, the costumes were beautiful and realistic. As realistic as possible, of course, considering that there's a talking teapot and duster in there. ^^; We were seated at the fourth row so we were able to see the performers' facial expressions. They were very convincing, I must say. If ever you get the opportunity to see it, go watch. You're not gonnna regret it.

So there! My laptop's battery is getting low, gotta reachrage. ja!

08:49 p.m. - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Yay!!! Animax!! Animax!! Nyahahaha!!!

What a great new year!! The first thing I'll see will be the broadcast of Animax. And, like my best friend said, instead of shouting "Happy New Year!" we'll be shouting "Animax!" instead. lolz.

I just wish that the rest of the year will be just as good, ne.

Well, I'll be off now. Once again, I'd like to greet all of you a Happy New Year!! Enjoy yourselves, hear. ^_^

09:41 p.m. - Hiatus

No, not g.spot. Heck, I've only just updated, ne. ^_^

What I meant to say was that Krissy's blog is on hiatus. Too bad, coz I've only just started visiting it again. And I liked the domain name too. It was suplada.org. It's sorta difficult to translate to English but it's a bit like being snobbish or such. *sdrop* Gomen for the vague explanation.

I do hope suplada.org goes back up coz I like Krissy. ^^ After all she is a sekanplor citizen and an anime fan, just like me.

07:11 p.m. - New name, New look

Right. From this day on, my blog shall be officialy named g.spot. This is preparation for something much bigger than a change in layout. ^_^ You'll know what I mean soon enough.

Maa... so much for a new look. Fortunately, I have come to admit that I will never be able to create a wonderful layout due to my lack of artistic skills. Therefore, I have chosen to just pick premade layouts for this and future versions of g.spot. Hey, i can admit to my own short-comings. That's healthy. Then again, that doesn't mean that I like it. *makes face*

Shouldn't feel sorry for myself. It is the holiday season, after all. And I've been enjoying my mp3 player very much. ^^ Now then, if I could only expand my mp3 collection more rapidly, I'd be even happier!! Anyone care to recommend some songs and where to download them??

Speaking of expanding, I've been itching to expand my anime horizon. Unfortunately, I don't have any resources at all. I have no idea who has what anime so I don't know from whom to borrow. Which made me think that maybe I should establish a sort of anime network in our neighorhood. I wonder if anyone would be interested? But that'l have to wait coz I'm gonna be pretty busy once school starts again and I might end up just neglecting it.

02:56 p.m. - Animax Asia

Whee!!! Have you guys heard?!?!?! Animax is coming to asia!!! Nyahahaha!!! Obviously, I'm very excited about this. I only hope Home Cable (our cable provider) decides to keep it or else I'm gonna be calling them up all day and demanding that they bring it back. Hehehe.

Oh, and in case you don't know, I believe Animax is the most watched anime channel in Japan. It'll start showing in several parts of Asia starting January. I dunno about the other countries, but according to Home Cable, they'll be showing Animax on Channel 18 starting January 1, 2004. Waaii!!! I can't wait!! Hopefully, the anime will be subs and not dubs. I just love original Jap voices. I'd rather read the subs than suffer through though often whiny dubbed voices. Ugh.

Maa.. Now I really can't wait for New Year to get here. ^____^

11:41 p.m. - iRiver iFP-390T

Nyahaha!!! I finally got my mp3 player!! Whee!!! Isn't obvious that I'm very excited about it? Hehehe.

Anyways, there. Just wanted to share my joy with you guys. Happy Holidays!

09:59 p.m. - Christmas Vacation

Nyahaha!!! Christmas vacation is fast approaching!!! It's my last day tomorrow and after that, it's all parties and rest!!! Yay!!

Incidentally, tomorrow will be UP's Oblation Run. What is the Oblation Run, you ask? Well, it's an annual event organized by a fraternity in UP. I can't remember which fraternity... Anyway, it's a sort of initiation rite for neophytes wherein said neophytes run around UP's Palma Hall butt naked!!! Yes, I said butt naked!! *evil grin* So you can imagine how many girls and gays make an appearance on Oblation Run Day.

On another note, I'm finally gonna have an mp3 player!! And in time for Christmas too! ^____^ I'm gonna get the iRiver ifp-390T. It has 256MB of memory. has a radio and is really, REALLY small. I couldn't believe how small it was when I saw it in a store window. It's even smaller than my cellphone!!! (My cellphone is a Nokia 2100, by the way.) The only downside is that it'll cost me 10,900 pesos. (That's about... 200 dollars or less, depends on the exchange rate. ^_^)

Also, I went to the C3Con last Saturday. I must say that I was slightly disappointed. I feel that last year's C3Con was much better than this year's. Then again, that could just be because there were freebies last year and none this year. lol.

Incidentally, Ragnarok CD's were being distributed at the C3Con and, of course, I got one. I've been trying it out coz Ragnarok offers new users 3 days of free use. It's somewhat addicting, though I'm still not sure if I'll continue using it. Oh well, I still have about a day to use it and decide if I'm gonna continue or not. But darn, it's gonna cost money to keep on playing that thing. And that's money that I don't particularly have right now. *sigh* I hate having no money. Someone send me some. ^_^

10:19 p.m. - Archived

Once again, I've archived a page in my blog. And yet again, I am either too lazy or too busy to tinker with my layout in order to put up the link to the newly archived page. Oh well.

Nothing much to say right now except that my professors are freaking crazy and sadistic. Can you imagine, we have about 4 cases that need to be submitted just before Christmas vacation. And if we're really unlucky, we're gonna have to present 2 of them. On the other hand, if we get lucky, we'll only need to present 1. The other one will have to wait till January.

Oh, and I have an exam on Saturday afternoon. Would you believe, it's Tax Accounting? It's not as bad as it sounds though. As long as you answer the exercises given and memorize a few stuff, my friends who've taken the subject say that I'll do just fine. I sure hope so.
