today is sunday may 30th 2004. i am at home now chillin and resting! i haven't been home in a very long time (in fact i hardly remember the last time.... since winter break really). there might have been one other weekend visit or something like that but i can't recall it now. the semester was long and bittersweet. i came into the semester in a way different mode than when i came out... and so it seems like a far away and very vauge thing for me now. i'm sure if i looked into my school journals maybe i could reconstruct the feeling eventually but yea. anyways. more about that later. let's go to the middle first --- two weeks ago i played in the second to last wrapup game of a warhammer campaign i helped to start four years ago :) my prequel character was "lost" in a tragic manner. more later.
today is tuesday april 6th. it is going to be bedtime soon i think! sps said something so lovely on the radio today... about how manhood =? signing up for the army reserves (??) i wish i had been recording the radio. and what a treat, jim played an old fav of mine by pink floyd... ahhh.. today was a good chillin' day. i'm really feeling well. i have been translating a few instructions written by yoko ono's first hubby, and now i know why people are so gaga over her -- the ideas are so attractive. and the writing is also very attractive. in a way it is like the alhambra in souther spain (the whole interior is exquisitely decorated with carvings of the koran... it is a building you can read. it is probably the most awesome building i have ever seen in my life). anyway, life is really intense now. (just imagine my moods are like a sine curve that dropped too much of some inappropriately strong drug of your choice). my lovely will and i had to break up. it is no peachy thing. to balance that off, i have embarked on a really exciting study of 19th century japanese photography... the rest is a summary of events: i saw a theatrical version of donnie darko (yay donnie with a boston accent!) which had a cool flow to it... the freezepop/lifestyles/persil/commodore v. concert i went to was not only fantastic, i also got to hop up on stage to take pictures of freezepop close up (i should send them some prints...)... i had two hours of fun at the naked party until i got stomped in the foot by some weirdo wearing stilletto heels (to a naked party?)....... which left me grumpy hurting and stir crazy for the weekend ...... man. i thought my foot was broken for a few days. ... but now it seems like it will be better after all... i got some photos up in collins again (with the group show for optik! yay!!). this semester has been really fun with optik... oh oh earlier in the night where i got my foot jabbed i went to help out with a public night at the observatory but since it was rainy not too many people came so i could just chill... and wendy gave a suuuuper presentation about what opportunity and spirit have been able to find out about mars!!! appearantly they are naming rock formations after ice cream and other fruity things... (like "berry bowl" for a rock formation that has lots of little round rocks the size of beebee pellets lying around it). hahahaha! astronomers are really amusing. ahhhhhhhhh. werewolf movies, operations, meeting my hero in art and computers, cancer death, terrorist explosions in spain, horrible flashbacks from senior year in highschool and general exaustion has been the name of the game. oh man. but i have started dragging myself out of my blue funk and i'm feeling rather well right now. so thank you girl who-can't-stand-in-high-heels for stabbing me.... because of your ungracefulness i was able to rest enough to get my mind back.

hrm. well anyways. so today was an exciting day. what a week. more later.. it is like 4 am now and i am tired.
later on saturday, march 20th. i've archived my old entries! if you want to see them you can just click on the top link in my links section. not all of them are old mind you (ie, the ones i just wrote yesterday and today..) but i wanted to try archiving. learn new things.
