Shards of Fire
'Tis the day after christmas, I don't know why I'm here~~
Seems to be turning into a routine... An update once a month... Well, blame me for being of so few words... and/or lacking the impulse to bare every detail of my life to the world...
I'm officially on a week of leave... Which started a few days ago... 23rd... to the 29th... And I only spent 4 days of my leave to get this...
Watched LotR:RotK the other day too... Decent enough, as films go... My dad went for some screening by HBO and got a free LotR shirt, lol...
Cosplay event's tomorrow... Wonder if I should go...
3 new gundams to get came out recently... 1/100 Blitz, HG Raider, HG Red Astray... Wonder if I should get... Still working on my Sword Strike... Almost done...
Sigh

Well, here I am again. Been spending a lot of time away from home, and consequently, the computer. Busy, busy, busy...
All model building is now sort of on hold until I learn how to handle the airbrush properly. I think I might want to sell off my current airbrush set (Airbrush, hose, compressor) to get another one. Price negotiable, only used twice, lol. Any takers?
Kino forgot to call me again about my 'subscription' with them. Only got my magazines nearly a week after they arrived. Defeats the purpose of having it come by air, rather than by sea. Hope it doesn't happen next month. One of the magazines came with a couple of largest posters I've gotten from a magazine (think it was Animage) of Sanzo pointing his gun at you and Kira/Athrun, leaning on each other looking all battle weary. More fodder for the magazine freebie drawer, lol. Stuff there almost never sees the light of day again >=)
With time so tight, I'm not sure if I can keep the newest commitment I've made. The part of a murderer in some school film project. I think they want to pay me fot this, lol. *shrug* Went once and got home feeling drained from a very long day, not just from this. And they say my attitude sucks, lol. Wasn't feeling well for the second shoot, and they canceled the third, saying something about equipment trouble. Wonder when's the next one.
PS2 in danger of blowing up due to excessive use. Several newly acquired games recently. Disgaea, Worms3d, Simpsons, NFS:U, Castlevania, and a couple more waiting to be played. Disgaea's good , quite similar to FF:T. Go try. Already spent about 100+ hours on it. Worms is just plain fun. =) Simpsons... If you've seen the show, you'll like this one, lol =) NFS:U... Effectively the game version of 2 Fast 2 Furious, complete with bridges you can jump over, neon undercarriage lights, and NOS! =) It's cool seeing an opponent get totaled at 200km/h, colliding with traffic, then spinning in the air, lol =)
Well, time to head out =)
Till next time~

And here I am again, a full month late-ish =)
Finally found some time to start using the airbrush... Works really well too... Finished doing up Forbidden Gundam... Will probably redo my older models too =)
Someone suggested I start building models for comission, lol
Bought the 1/144 Raider Gundam on impulse the other day too... One of the last in the series and all that... Didn't know it was so unposable... So few parts... I'm definitely sticking with HG or better now... So now I have a Raider sort of done up that I don't really want, lol...
My airbrush now has an air compressor... Don't have to rely on little cans of compressed air now... they're pretty expensive... so's the compressor, really, but i figure it'll be cheaper in the long run... An unlimited supply of air from an electric blower thingie, lol...
So, which of my 1/100s should I do first? =)

*looks at previous entry*
Hmm... Just over a week ago, lol...
Still have yet to start using the airbrush... No time, lol. I did manage a bit of painting using brushes... I now have one 1/20 figure 'sort of' done. Kira Yamato, in his suit. Came with 1/100 Launcher Strike. Did that one first because it didn't that many paints to mix, and I had all the colours needed. Cannot find Yellow, lol. Next is probably Cagalli. Don't need yellow to paint that one either, lol. Did this all in camp, lol. I don't think I want to bring my airbrush to camp. =)
On a side note, I happened to see someone I hadn't seen for quite a while a few days ago on the way home from camp, walking past Tampines MRT station. Looking rounder than ever, eh? lol =)

Last entry was a day short of a month ago, it seems. Well, I can't really promise to be able to blog regularly. It depends on my schedule, which is becoming increasingly unpredictable...
What happened this last month? I forget. A month of stuff is a lot to remember.
I did get myself an airbrush today, though. Now to learn how to use it properly. And maybe repaint some of my previous models. First on the list is my half done 1/100 Justice Gundam. Then maybe I'll do my 1/100 Freedom.
I'll cross that bridge when I get to it though. =)
Airbrushes cost a pretty penny, lol.
And I'm still wondering how to do the 1/20 figures that came with the 1/100 Gundams.

I've been busy.
No idea how long this current situation will continue.
