+ Medical studies... »Not so easy after all. D:
It's actually quite challenging to find information about courses needed, and only 3 Canadian Universities offer admission to foreign students for their medical faculties.
My head hurts. X_x;;

Michael emailed me, and I missed his msn message by a minute! I also wrote a mini-guide on flying from Canada to Malaysia - airport procedures, and emailed it to his parents.
I really miss my best friends. D: Sometimes I feel like we're not all that close anymore, sometimes I blame the SPM, sometimes... I just don't know.
One week and 3 days to Michael's arrival! Can't wait! I love him loads.

I tell you, technology frustrates me to NO BITTER END. So I got my baby laptop back, and all seemed kinda rosy for a while. Yaaaay- Install games and play. That was yesterday. How all this rhymes is gay.
Anyway. (Ohnoes, rhymed again)
I tried installing Adobe Photoshop CS yesterday off my CD. Halfway through, it stops. "Cannot copy file. Data error. Cyclic redundancy check. Setup is aborting." So I took the CD out to have a look at it. Scratches upon scratches. Cracks. Peels. Effing...
NOBODY, I say, NOBODY will ever borrow linnsoft EVER again without him/her letting ME do the installing. D: Li Yen is VERY unhappy. My gift from the Jova is dead and gone... One version down, 2 more to go.
I whipped out my Adobe Photoshop 7.0 CD. Muahaha, I thought, I win. Unfortunately, I stuck it in, it made some scratchy noises, and never loaded. Old copies... Two versions down, one more to go.
I dug around in my CD drawer for that old, dust-covered Adobe Photoshop 6.0 beta CD. D: I found it, BUT when I took the CD out, it was garnished with a HUGE crack (physically) from the center. Thus, I was left photoshop-less. And annoyed.
Next, I decided to load back my images & data, and calm down. I gave up after the first disk of images. Either the CDs I used to backup my data were gay, or my laptop was being bitchy. It couldn't read some images, but thankfully, the ones I lost were that of scenery. D< -angst-
I also went out to lunch with Wee Jonn today. We went to The Curve, which is a really nice place. ^^ The food was good too.

+ Sweety-pie. -kisskiss- »And that sweety-pie in question is my beloved laptop. She's back! She's braved the Targa workshops, and resurfaced good as new. Of course, all I lack is a decent DVD player program. Apart from that, all's good! I know I have to reset her because of something I installed, but I can't remember.
Went out for lunch with Matthew to Secret Recipe. The stir-fry soba there is pretty good! <3 I liked it muchly. Could've done with a tad less oil, but good nonetheless. We talked loads about medical studies (IMU), and my school, Caronport High School.
Tomorrow I'm lunching with Wee Jonn. He's going off to UK at the end of August, I think, to recontinue his studies.
I miss Michael like crazy so. Like anything more in the world. 2 more weeks before he arrives! <3 Can't wait. Very excited about his arrival.
Bought a new scent today... It's called "Dewberry", and has a pleasant, light, fruity smell. There's another expensive perfume I have my eyes on; I think it's called "Lucky Day" or summat. Saw it in Midvalley, and the promoter let me have some on my wrist. Fell in love with it at once! A light, fresh, energetic and feminine smell.
I neeeeeed to lose weight. D: Diet, woman. That, or lots of swimming & badminton.
I ALSO NEED TO WRITE FOR THE MPH COMPETITION! -whines-

Anyways.
YAY! My laptop's back! Finally, after... 3 weeks of waiting. =/ SO FRUSTRATING. The feller at the computer shop said I'd have to wait 2 weeks... AT least now, on the 3rd week, I'm getting my baby SYlk-13 back! <3 Much love for that hunk of metal.
Daddy's getting me an external harddrive so I can house my songs, photoshop stuff, and videos. Hooray! I can't wait to reactivate my graphic designing, my webdesigning, and all the internet-related stuff I used to do so avidly. My life will actually carry some meaning now!
Church has been good, I think I'm going to start reading the "Purpose Driven Life" book. And some small devotion book on proverbs, I'll be bringing back to Canada with me. I had a look at some verse and listened to Dr. Peter Ng. I've come to the temporary conclusion that to be a Christian, you can't look for physical evidence to prove the Bible. Religion's like a gamble; eitehr you win, or you lose. I'm betting my life that Christianity wins big-time. SO what, if I choose to live my life according to a set of fixed values? So what if I believe in Jesus Christ? He saved my family, my life, and my friends. He's got afterlife taken care of, and my whole life taken care of. I just need to believe more, and read the Bible, and listen to Him.
Tuesday! Going out for lunch with Matthew. Long time no see the genius medical student. I think we're going to Secret Recipe... Mmm, cakes. <3 Much love for that Chocolate Banana! Sooo divine.
I got badly sunburnt at the Samad festival... -sob- My shoulders, upper arms, lower arms, upper right chest (NO, not boob, you perverts), and face got burnt. >_< I hate the sun~ I don't tan, I burn, hurt, peel, and go back to being white again. I don't complain, though. =D What's the point of being naturally white and longing to be dark? Caucasians are crazy for being lobster-red and adoring that bright, helium-filled star's rays.
Long entry today! I'm still planning the story I'm gonna write for the MPH Story-writing competition... Something about the war? Well, beign in poverty and working hard is cliched, and so is being a patriotic soldier dying of multiple wounds. So, I thought, how about being a prostitute? YOu know how they complain abobut the Japanese taking our women? I'll write from the viewpoint of one of those women. <3 Thankfully, the age they gave me is a good one to write from, as I'm still 16. Only problem is now, is to write it better than anyone who comes across this site and gets inspired. D:
I somehow doubt that Malaysian girls are as open-minded and unconservative to write from the viewpoint of a prostitute, though.

Another cool thing that happened that I didn't blog about was that I went for the Bon Odori 2005! Some random guys asked to take pictures with me & Rae in our yukatas. Also, must get my Gothic Lolita dress/costume ready. Cannot wear to KL when Rae & I take Michael around on monorail and LRT... Will sweat like crazy in this mad Malaysian weather. But I'll wear it to the Calgary Anime fest next May. Muahaha, tremble in fear, all those who have never seen a Gothic Lolita before! >D

Canada has been a wonderful experience, much much better than that beloved mess that was my old school. I
m very much in love with Michael now, and we've been going out for almost 9 months! Tomorrow's our anniversary. I wonder if I can call him...
Some punk at the pasar malam in December stole my handphone. I have a nice new one now (using the treo!), and a nice new number. I've gotten some numbers back from my friends.
My brother's as annoying as usual.
I lost the black kitty ears headband. -_- Nevermind, next halloween's another chance! I'll also have my EGL stuff for next year's thingies.
