And One More for the Road...

Hi. This will be my last post here until I get to Cedar Point and get online (whenever that may be...Might be tomorrow or a week from now or August 10th when I come home).

I hate the scanner on my stepdad's computer. It's one of those scanners/fax machines/printers/coffeemakers/sexmachines/whatever the hell those wankers who made it had in mind for its functions. Call me biased, but compared to the other scanner (which still works, btw), this new one sucks. Plus my stepdad doesn't have any art programs on this computer, aside from Paint. I tried scanning in some recent pics I drew, but I gave up out of annoyance. The scanner is slow, and there is no art program. Bleh. If this computer did not have an internet connection faster than the old computer, I would have deemed it a PoS- Piece of Shit. State of the bloody art my ass.

I want to draw more. I made a copy of the Chix Mental Mix cd I sent to Amie, because it's soooo good. "Exit Music (for a film)" followed by "Talk Show Host"...Ooooh yeah. Puts me in an artistic mood.

Speaking of which, I sent off the second package for Amie today ^^ The first one did arrive at her house, making me wonder if I did send it to the right address or if it was simply forwarded (I'm hoping the latter, because I sent the second package to the other address). This package is padded, so keep your eyes opened for a padded package, mon Amie! ((that was a lame joke...))

Let's see...before I sign off and start cleaning my room and hiding anything I don't want my parents seeing...

I Will Miss...

...talking to the people who actually invited me into their chatroom (it was always the same person too). Thanks, btw. I actually felt apart of a community instead of some weirdo hanging on the fringes of the outside.
...talking to Amie online. And Ryan for that matter. ...those late nights where I stayed up waiting for webcomics to update ((I always came up with some weird and whacky thing to do and the wait was sort of fun)).
...seeing the farm come to life more.
...picking the strawberries when they're ripe. Ditto for the cherries.
...reading scanlations.
...downloading mp3s and being quite happy with my musical selections.
...riding my bike.
...the horses on the other farms ((they're so pretty)). I love horses.
...the cats.
...my bass guitar (no, I am not bringing it with me, sadly, because I'm afraid it might get stolen)
...my animes.
...Cayman and my peoples down in Dayton, OH.
...staying up till the wee hours chatting with Amie (whee!)
...my sister. Definitly my sister (sorry Cayman). She actually keeps me sane, and I am the only person she has here to talk to when she gets home and on the weekends. I'll really miss her.

Finished Becca's Band Banquet CD. She asked me last night to burn a bunch of songs onto cd for the senior video since she couldn't. Hmmm...Was it a bit too mean subtitling the CD "So Long and Thanx for all the Lube"? I hope this year's band seniors have a good sense of humour.

I think I'll download some anime mp3s and make an anime cd to take with me to Cedar Point...

...It's Monday, isn't it? Then why does it feel like Tuesday?

Amie, your picture is done. I am just waiting for it to dry before I send it out with your other gifts. To the correct address this time, of course. I hope the poor schuck who receives the first package isn't too weirded out by my m4d 4r7 5ki11z.

I mailed Amie's present to the wrong address ;_; Gomen! I have two addresses for Amie and I just went with the one that I thought was her recent addy. ~miserable sigh~ Well, I'm going to send another package to her, since there might not be a chance of her getting the first one unless somehow anything with her surname is forwarded to her new addy. This new package is sweet. I burned for her a personality CD *devil horns* and something else, which she will not know until she gets the package. I still have to do another drawing for her, so I'll send everything out tomorrow :3

I watched Xtv4 today. Um, wow. These character episodes are really starting to get old. The Sorata on of Xtv2 was cute, the Subaru one on Xtv3 was strange but somehow appropriate, but the Yuzuriha one was really, um, unnecessary. I think they already established in an earlier episode that Yuzuriha was viewed as a freak/liar because of Inuki. I saw no need to reiterate on that. After viewing said episode, I'm somehow reminded of Drop Dead Fred O_o

The Kamui character flashback episode was okay...Young!Kamui's dubbed voice is damn annoying. And on the topic of dubbed youngsters, I could have sworn I heard the English dub of Izzy from Digimon...

Random complaints: What happened to cynical Kakyou!? In the manga he's so cynical pre-Fuuma encounter! Dammit! I want my cynical angsty yumemi, not some emotional, Labyrinth!David Bowie lookalike with a drug problem ((he looks drugged up...))! And where's the CLAMP Campus boys? ;_;

Anyhow, aside for the Wonderful World of X ((behold the wild Fuuma in his natural habitat as he grabs and molests his opponent)). 3 more days till I leave. I have most everything packed and ready. I just need to finish tying up loose ends (like getting Cayman's blog to work...).

4 more days till I blow this scene. Why can't you go any faster, 4 days?

darkyaoi
You're dark yaoi. You like lots of angsty emotional
turmoil and you're probably into NCS fics. In
real life, you might be depressed, or maybe
you're just poetic?

What kind of yaoi are you?

...Is that Subaru? O.o Bleh. Guess not. Doesn't rightly look exactly like him.

Oh. Cayman's blog is set up ^^ *beams* LINK ((I just don't know if or when it will work))

I have some time, so I think I'll update my regular fans (*choke snort giggle laugh*) of my life.

(1) I am sitting on the floor in our basement in the only room that is halfway complete with electricity and plugs that work: the bathroom. The keyboard is in my lap and it's hella awkward typing like this.

(2) I bought Xtv4 yesterday and learned that Sam Goody's/any of its affiliates have this new thing where you can reserve copies of multimedia products and it will be cheaper. If I were to reserve my copy of Xtv5, it would be $25.

(3) Sadly, I have not had a chance to watch Xtv4, but I do like the reversible cover. Seishirou in the foreground, Satsuki in the background, and sakura petals all over the page. Yum. Squicky pairing, with a possibility of t*ntacle p*rn ((don't want to get references from people in search of what the asteriks are covering up)). For some reason, the reverse covers are better than the covers initially used. Pioneer should switch to using the reversed covers as the primary covers for their X dvds.

(4) My sister cut my hair, and I corrected her mistakes. This was, ah, about a week ago, if not exactly a week. I like it. My hair looks cute. When it grows out, I'll look like a brownish-blonde Hokuto XD

(5) I can't wait to get out of this house. -.- My mother is annoying me greatly.

(6) I miss my mp3s.

Quick blog

On parent's computer. They don't know I'm on. Quick quiz result.

What Tokyo Babylon song are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

YES. Go me.

Amie, I put your birthday present(s) in the post today. It should arrive in x days. I hope you like it. And congratulations on the job. Working in a cafe is fun, unless your boss is a total flake who gets on your nerves after a while (speaking from personal experience).

Computer crashed. Hard drive fried. At library. No other way to do things online unless I can convince stepdad to let me use his computer.

I think now would be a good time to go on hiatus. April 30th I will be at Cedar Point and I will not be returning till August 10th. I will have Internet access, but, alas, no instant messenger service. If anybody wants to talk, email me. I don't bite...hard.

Till next time, loves.
