Fox is an 18-year old voyeur. Her day consists of going to work at a coffeehouse, then coming home and either playing bass guitar, reading scans, watching anime, or doing other nefarious things online. She also draws. A lot. And she writes when she can. If she were given the choice of world domination or a life supply of pocky, she would choose the life supply of pocky.

Fox: Hisoka....Gon.....slashy...!!!

A Message from Chibi Treize:

Fox is currently unavailable, as she has gone in a comatose-like state of bliss after reading the installment of HunterxHunter where Gon and Hisoka fight. From the incoherent babbling and strange giggles, I have gathered that the dialogue exchanged between the two characters during the fight was rather...suggestive and what Fox would call "slash". She will undoubtably be out for the rest of the day, but I'm available *wink, perfect grin, ect, ect*. If you have any messages or just feel like shamelessly flirting with a cute, naked chibi bishounen with wings, just click the "Sanctus" link and I'll rely the message to Fox or take it myself *wink*

Thank you,

Chibi Treize

Amie, that's a nice tribute to George there :P

Ohohoho! I hath become a shameless HunterxHunter addict! If they make HxH plushies, I would definitely want about over half the cast. One thing I've noticed, though: in some of the panels, Killua looks a lot like Hiei with short, light hair. Killua is Hiei on some form of therapy.

Anyhow, up to chapter 55! Hisoka (w00t!) hath kicked Kastro's cute, self-assured ass! And he is definitely starting to earn my admiration, while at the same time, freak me out (when he was nibbling on his own, detached arm....o.o;). And I love his word bubbles. His word bubbles rock! For word bubbles in any comic book, he's up there with the Endless from the Sandman. He's right belong Desire. If they did a cool font thing with his words, Hisoka would surpass every Endless except Dream and Delirium ((okay, in all honesty, nobody's word bubbles could surpass Del's. Nobody can top multicolored bubbles and ever-changing font with nonsensical phrases that somehow make sense later on...Neil Gaiman, you are a genius)).

The Gravitation high has been replaced by a Kaori Yuki high, which I have not had in a long time. Last night (after refilling out an online application to reactivate my USF application and *trying* to find where I can check the status of my BSU application, only to find nothing), I finally got around to downloading Kaori Yuki's Cruel Fairytales from Sakura Crisis. It's early Kaori Yuki, which makes it all good (hell, any period Kaori Yuki is great) and it's one of her short manga. I like short manga. Sometimes, manga series can become tedious and too drawn out (sort of like Angel Sanctuary at times...), but short manga has a definite end and are usually great. Boys Next Door is a short manga and I consider it one of Kaori Yuki's best works.

Anyhow, Cruel Fairytales is not a yaoi, nor is it a love story. It's a fairytale that parallels other traditional fairytales. It has the trademark dark side to it that you'll always find in Kaori Yuki's mangas, and in a way it lives up to its title, Cruel Fairytales.

I suppose now I'll start on Alichino or continue to download HunterxHunter.

...Shit. I was looking at C-kon's site. Looks like C-kon 2003 will be held at the South Bend Century Center in early October. Fuuuuck! South Bend is on the other side of the state (it's where Notre Dame and St. Mary's are located- fun fun). Indiana is boring to drive through. There's nothing here except for cornfields, Amish, and a big ass city that consumes all of the county it's located in ((The entire county where Indianapolis is located has been practically declared all of Indianapolis for some odd reason...)).

I couldn't sleep. Applying for IU and IUP (in Fort Wayne or Indianapolis) has been bugging me. So I get on the computer, look up IU (Bloomington), IUPFW, and IUPIndy. No problem finding either one of those- all I have to do is go to the enrollment section of the official IU website. so I check out the cost of admissions and financial aid and/or departments to see what each faction of these IU affiliated universities offer (IUP Indy, btw, looks cool and it's in Indy. A bonus on many levels). I bet right now you're wondering if I'm going to go on with this boring description of college searching or if I'm going to go off on a bitching rant. Bitching Rant, baby, all the fucking way.

The problem occurs when I try to re-access the enrollment pages on any section of any of the websites, including the original website I got the links from. It doesn't come up -.- I'm NOT going to mess with this. I'm going to do this tomorrow (among other things, like reactivating my application at USF- the nice people in the admissions office said that they would hold it for me for up to two years). And tomorrow, I'm going to check my application status at BSU (my school of choice because I see it as a tad bit more superior to IU and its various affiliates. BSU actually has Japanese, a damn good music program, and a very nice art department, whereas IU and Company lack only Japanese). I submitted my application about two weeks or so ago (at the beginning of the month, actually). Since a lot of other people must share similar views of BSU (either that or it's cheaper than IU & Co.), BSU fills up quickly. As long as you have your application into them before the deadline date (which is sometime in March), then you won't have to cut throats to get what little places they have left for incoming students. BSU takes a long time to reply, unfortunately, given the number of applicants. *grumble grumble grumble* And my mom is starting to bitch at me about BSU (she doesn't think I sent in the application fee because they're taking so long to respond). *groan*

In happier news, I've figured that now is a good time to start saving up for the two cons I plan on trying to go to next year- C-kon and Katsu-con. C-kon will be first and probably the one I'll definitely go to, since it's put on by BSU's Japanese Animation Society and is in Indy ((wonder if I can get in for free if I help plan it and stuff...)). Katsu-con will be a bit more difficult since it's WAAAAY out of state (okay, so it's not as far as the extra a's in "way" imply), but if I make friends who are going and have cars (so upperclassman friends since underclassman can't have cars), I'll be peachy keen.

Well, I signed up for this penpal thingie that Amie linked. I hope somebody responds ((ack. and it should be noted that I'm about to go Atashi, and Atashi!Fox is aaaaangsty)).

Okay, I know that I'm committing some form of fangirl suicide by saying this, but what the hell is so interesting about an anime about tennis? I need to know before I even attempt to view Prince of Tennis (assuming I can download episodes. I have dial up and dial up sucks, especially if I want to download songs/episodes from Kazaa. I've been trying off and on to download the Radiohead episode of South Park for a week now and it's not even at 50%). Maybe I'll just say "Fuck it" and view new anime at my own pace. Being behind on the current fads of some of the more ever-changing fandoms I'm considered to be associated with has worked well with me for the x amount of years I've been associated with said fandom.

La li la li....existential angst....I'm waiting for the flames.

Karma Police: a new X wallpaper.

Wow. It's been a long time since I made a wallpaper. I like this one. It was complicated and required more than changing colours and combining images and adding text *shines* It's an X pic of the Dragons of Earth- the one where they all look like they're Gestapos or (in Satsuki's case) kinky Hitler youths (that's why the DoE are the Karma Police). Methinks it was for the movie, because Asagi's in it and there's no sign of Kakyou ((I wanna see kinky Hitler youth!Kakyou!)). Asagi looks really uke too...Makes me wonder who his seme is. Hoi! Maybe it's Seishirou! That would explain why he was there during the Seishirou-Subaru battle at the beginning! ...okay, so he was there to see Kamui, but I still like my hypothesis!

Squicky pairings abound!

Hmmm...I haven't read HunterxHunter in a few days...

La li la li! Watch out or the Karma Police are gonna come for you! ((ripping off Radiohead one reference at a time))

Additional Note: That wallpaper was going to be my next layout, but I knew I would be too tempted to change kinky!Kamui for Karma Police DoE. I'm trying to keep this layout till the middle of next month (March 14th- exactly one month for this layout), then I'm going to do something for that special day in March...No, not St. Patrick's Day. I'm talking about the Ides of March- March 15th *smirk* Here, Sei-chan, Sei-chan...X3

Seishirou: I knew it wasn't a good idea to volunteer to be the first key player to die...-.-
Fox: Yeah yeah...You're tragic, fucked up destiny saddens the faction of the fandom that loves you. Now put on this toga!

My Weakerthans cd came into Tuesday, so I went to World Records. I also picked up Cayman's present (not gonna say what it is unless you beg meeeeee! Pfft!). The Weakerthans cd ("Left and Leaving") is good. I'm still listening first time through it. The cd has two of mt favourite Weakerthans songs- "My Favourite Chords" and "Without Mythologies". I can delete both songs from my computer now :D That means the only Weakerthans song I will have on here is "Wellington's Wednesdays", which I won't even think about deleting because it's a very amusing live track (the singer, feeling as if he has been heckled enough by people, gives somebody else his guitar to do a guitar solo, then later in the song he breaks out in an 80s song that goes "Oh, you've got blues eyes/Oh you've got green eyes/Oh you've got gray eyes/And I've never seen anyone quite like you before"- only without the last line. If you've seen Trainpotting enough times to know the movie through and through, you'd find this very amusing).

Hmmm...somehow I like the live version of "My Favourite Chords" better.

Well, I'm downloading the evaluation version of Paintshop Pro 8.0 Beta :D And I deleted a shitload of mp3s, including most of my Gundam Wing mp3s and Weiss Kreuz mp3s, with the exception of Schuldig's song, Farfarello's song, and "Beautiful Alone". I'm sorry to all the Weiss fans out there, but "Velvet Underground" sucks. Most of the Weiss songs (sans "Beautiful Alone") suck. Their collective voices do not move me in any way (except on "Beautiful Alone"...). The Schwarz have better songs.

Oh! Also deleted most of my Fushigi Yugi mp3s. I don't even know why I downloaded them in the first place. The funniest thing is when you're going through a ton of old mp3s and you ask yourself why you downloaded it and/or what the hell you were on when you even considered downloading the song. I wouldn't even consider putting the deleted songs on cd, so what was I thinking when I downloaded (example) Nuriko's Image Song!?

Anyhow. Becca's off at an audition at Butler. I'm waiting for paint to dry (it's a dark oil paint- black- so it will dry fast). And I'm wondering if I'm up to watching X or Descendents of Darkness. I'm still on my Gravitation high, though...
