I drew Subaru Land. Hmmmm....It would help if the masses knew what Subaru Land is...For starters, it's another insane creation brought to life during a phone convo with Cayman. Basically, it's Subaru's "happy place". Everything in Subaru Land is bright, shiny, and happier than Sorata on "happy pills". Everything from the sun to the flowers is smiling insanely. That is, all except Subaru. In the middle of all Subaru Land, resides everybody's favourite uke, permanently under a dark storm cloud with rain pouring down on him. And he is angsting.

The pic I drew for this is mostly oekaki-esque, except for Subaru and the storm cloud, which I drew out by hand (chibi Subaru- whee!). I should upload it but I'm too tired at this point and it's not the best rendition of Subaru Land...So I think I'll just redo the pic when I have time, which I won't because Cayman will be here © But who knows...I still have to do an Easter picture and a few Birthday pics for Amie (whose birthday is next Wednesday). Fun fanart time for me :3

w00t! I completed my online training for Cedar Point and passed the online test! All that's left to do is fill out my employee agreement and other forms and mail them to HR. Oh yeah. And *try* to get a copy of my social security card before April 30th.

Also BSU sent me my student housing/planning crap. I am SO living in the international dorm *_*

....Why is the opening to "Forever Love" reminding me of those Budweiser "Real American Hero" radio commercials? O.o I swear, both sound so similar! Up until things get melodic and vocal-y. X Japan 0wnz me right now.

I have the sudden urge to watch the X movie...Dammit. This always happens when I listen to "Forever Love" *kicks Kamui and Fuuma's severed head out of frustration*

Warning: Feeling a bit bitchy

Sleep sucked last night. Woke up at 4-ish from a slumber [that wasn't what one would consider a good night's rest] to the sound of birds outside my window. Frickin' little inane chirping birds, which I have aptly named "kotori" because (1) that's what "kotori" means (little bird), (2) they sound so friggin' happy, and (3) they remind me all too much of Kotori from X -.-

I do believe these birds did cross me. Want to know how bad? I took a X Character Selector to alleviate my early morning boredom, and I came out as Fuuma. Followed by Yuuto. Followed by Nataku. Followed by Satsuki. Basically, most of my top 7 were Dragons of Earth, except for fecking Subaru, who was number 7 (fun fact: the only Angel in the bottom 14 was Seishirou, who was number 9...and strangely I have the Beatles song where they say Number 9 over and over again stuck in my head...Thank you very much, Mister Seishirou Number Nine Sakurazuka.). Then again, Subaru is a fecking prick who switches sides, so technically, he is an Angel...*kicks Subaru out of frustration*

No big deal, right? No Big Deal.

Lesson of Rant: Happy stupid little birds (i.e. Kotoris) make Fox Fuuma. Or most any other Angel...except Seishirou ((prat! *kicks Seishirou out of frustration, then turns around and RUNS*))

*looks threateningly at little birds* You'll get what's coming to you. THE KARMA POLICE WILL GET YOU!

My bass guitar needs a name still. I want to name it before I go off to Cedar Point. My sister's been heckling me over not giving it a name. Her acoustic guitar is named Julius. That's a damn fine name for a guitar...For my bass, I was considering something that has an evil tone to it...Like Lucifer or Cain...or maybe even Sei-chan >:3

Bleh. I'll figure out something.

Bass Guitar Rant

I was listening to my playlist today when I realized how fricken cool the bass part to the opening theme of Hellsing was. So I tried it.

YAY!!! More Love Mode! Hmmmm...I remember when I started reading this manga, lol. At first the scans were at Game Over or Continue ((well, Manga 2 was...the person scanlating it didn't really like Manga 1 as well)), then like a week or two later Sakura-Crisis.Net was scanlating the first part *_* I read the second manga before I even read the first ^^; Sadly, GOoC stopped their scanlations of the series since Sakura-Crisis had taken it up...

New Scanlations Day! Any day where there are new scanlations to download is New Scanlations Day :3 And guess what!? Our cherry blossoms are blooming *finally*. Unfortunately, whenever our cherry blossoms bloom, it's reeeeaaaally windy and they don't last long :( Oh well...I think my plans can be salvaged...I just need to pick a sufficient number of sakura and find red or pink food dye.

"Rose of Pain" fecking rocks. I forget why I stopped listening to this song. It may possibly be because I didn't want to sit through 11+ minutes of X Japan gothic-y goodness and riffs that reminded all too much of Metallica's "And Justice For All" album ((quick rant: saw a recent pic of Metallica and laughed. James shaved and wears these stupid glasses, making him look like one of those emo Weezer-like rockers. And all of them look so OLD)). Back on X Japan kick. Rose of Pain is sweet.

There was somebody lurking around our house earlier in the night ((well, it was about 11...)). My sister saw this person, and when she called out, they ran off. Scary...So now, I'm nervous to even go downstairs and use the restroom, because I'm afraid there will be some perv looking in our window ((my stepdad keeps the blinds open in the bathroom. dunno if mum closed them)) -.- Me and my overactive imagination...

Drawing. Comic book script writing to the best of my abilities ((it's hard, believe it or not)). Listening to music. La la la. Will I sleep? Sleep? Who needs this thing called "sleep"?

Dave McKean 0wnz me. I love his art. It's soooo surreal. I should use one of his pictures as a layout...There's this niiiiice one of Lucifer that I've been pining to use for a while ((with the lyrics ot Sympathy for the Devil. Oh yeah.)). It's really red ^^

Oh! I have been forgetting to mention that in the Vertigo X preview issue ((where they preview their newest projects to hook poor Vertigo whores like me)). Dave McKean did some of the effects in HP 2 and is going to be designing things in HP 3. Here's a sample of the interview in the preview ish:

Q: What's your connection to Harry Potter?
Dave McKean: I contributed to the production design of the spiders and the mandrakes to Potter 2, and werewolf, hypogriff, shroudy floaty guys (can't remember what they're called), and some other bits and pieces to number 3, and I'm still working on that one.

I thought those mandrakes look McKean-esque! ^^ OOOhies...and he's working of Lupin's werewolf form (©), the hypogriff, and the Dementors ((that's what they're called, Dave!)). lol

Er, I just realized that probably not too many people know who Dave McKean is. Ho hum. Look at the covers to The Sandman. Those are so his. The Quotable Sandman also has some spiffy McKean art. And one of the Counting Crow cds uses the man with the fishbowl head that was used on Neil Gaiman's short story, "The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish" ((I believe Dave McKean illustrated the aforementioned book too...I have to check)). Dave McKean's art is muy coolies.

It's such a nice day outside *_* It's beginning to look more and more like spring. The grass is a lush green, the fields are starting to grow, flowers are beginning to blossom, and the trees are in bloom....All except for our cherry trees. Our cherry trees refuse to bloom. Why!? I was going to pick a bunch of the blossoms and soak them in a food colour so they would turn pink! I was planning on taking them with me one day when I visit my peoples at Carroll High School, and I was going to stalk Cayman-kun and Carla-chan, throwing the pink sakura petals at them a la Sei-chan. My plans seemed to be ruined ;_; Their Spring Break is next week and the cherry trees have not bloomed. I suppose I could use apple blossoms, but it just isn't the same!

Anyhow, aside from my ruined plans. It's time to be remotely social.

LOL. I wouldn't be offended by your reaction to my post. I was being silly. lol Bleh. I'm a sucker for the noble seme-types (like Treize and Kuroro....oh dear god...the thought of TriezexKuroro crossed my mind >.< SQUICK! Crossover squick!). However, KuroroxKurapika just doesn't sound right. Based on what I read in the manga, it just can't be supported (unless it's something like rage-sex. Then that would be weird and uncharacteristic of Kurapika. He's just not the rage-sex type...). I'm not very big into the HxH yaoi pairings, surprisingly. I like the series mostly from a fanboy-esque standpoint: it's a good series, the battles are fecking cool, and the characters rock. The only sign of fangirl in me is the slight fascination with KuroroxHisoka...or would it be HisokaxKuroro? Thinking about that, who would be the seme?

Sadly, there's not much at first glance to support KuroroxHisoka- or HisokaxKuroro, whichever- unless you count Hisoka's weird obsession with wanting fight the danchou.

I should check out the HxH fandom to see what exactly is canon/supported by the masses.
