Cayman's coming up to visit me next Friday and Saturday! That makes me verrrrrrry happy. The last thing I got via mail from him was a nice Cowboy Bebop artbook (9 month aniversary). I still have to get him something...Bastard outdoes me every anniversary that we choose to celebrate -.- And he usually does so by buying me an artbook. Kid knows what I like and how I like it (male and gayer than a tree full of Subarus on nitrous oxide with a wild Seishirou on the prowl XD). 'cept Cowboy Bebop really doesn't have any gay characters...Oh well ^^ It's still groovy.

Have I mentioned that I've drawn some nice Tokyo Babylon fanart pieces or has I totally neglected to proclaim this to the Internet? Well, I have ^^ One is a spring pic with Hokuto in the foreground (in a lovely pink dress- gasp!) and in the background Subaru running after her while Sei-chan lingers behind them. And there are sakura petals all over the place, naturally. The other is a summer pic- at the beach with Tokyo Babylon ^^ God, the swimming trunks I put Subaru in r0x0rz! If they really existed, I would buy a pair for Cayman as a gag gift! However, Subaru's overall expression does not even compare to what Seishirou is doing in the background- holding up a thong with a questioning look on his face XD

Fox: Let me see that thong! Thong thong thong thong thong thong!
Seishirou: *super cool pissed off Sakurazukamori glare*

Sorry for the random bits. Couldn't be helped.

I have more drawings too. I've been getting back to colouring by hand with colour pencils. I am developing my technique more! ph34r my t3kn1qu3!

Oh! I am addicted to not only DDR Extreme, but this fun ickle puzzle game called Super Puzzle Fighter II by Capcom and a few of the Marvel vs. [insert Capcom or Capcom series here]. I kicked Eric's ass at Puzzle Fighter and managed to get the top score! But some bastard beat me so I have to defend my title and beat the game itself and kick major ass via points while doing so. I am Fox's determined vengeance. ((have I mentioned that I have finally gotten around to seeing Fight Club???))

I think Gravitation Volume One comes out some time this week, or at least that's when the Walden's here should be getting it. As I write this post, the fifth Harry Potter book is already out and millions of excited sleep-deprived children and their more-than-slightly parents are lining up at bookstores to get their copies. Ditto with the teen fans and the college-age students. Me, I'm waiting for Knockin' on Heaven's Door. My priorities are to see and own a very kick ass anime movie and to spread the word and force helpless Cartoon Network-bred anime fans to watch it and awe at its awesomeness. Harry Potter can come later. I'm a girl with a mission!

Speaking of which, being said anime missionary, I found a fangirl like me. She was a guest and she was wearing a Xtv shirt with Kamui on the front. We talked, exchanged emails and blog addies. ^^ I haven't been to her blog yet, but I shall after I finish this post.

Random tidbit of Fox-knowledge: fortune cookie messages sound like the Guide to being a prostitute or a very willing uke if taken the wrong way :)

This job would be great at if it weren't for the customers...

Quick update, I'm on a friend's laptop. Um, Hmmm....Everything is peachy keen. Becca is up here with me now. My roommates quit :( but I have new roomies ((becca and another chick)). My bass guitar is up here now too (YAY!!!). So's a lot of my other shit.

I bought XTV5 a few weeks ago. I laughed my ass off at the whole Subaru-entering-Kamui's-mind thing ((Vulcan mind meld Sumeragi Style!!!)). I also bought Pet Shop of Horrors (Volume 1) and an Erica Sakurazawa's Between the Sheets :) Both are very very good.

I just realize that the new Harry Potter book comes out in likesay two days. Next Tuesday, though, the Cowboy Bebop movie comes out of dvd. Hmmmmm....a cool anime dvd with sweet animation and hella cool extras versus another book in a mega pop-culture hit series about a young wizard-in-training...? I'm sorry, but Spike 0wnz m3. I put the Cowboy Bebop dvd on reserve XD w00t!!!

Also, new Radiohead cd (Hail to the Thief) is fucking awesome XD XD XD

Ciao, mes amies. Till the next time I'm able to get online :P

I'm fine. I miss people. Need to check email. Oh God.

Hmmm...this past week...

(1) I was going to go see the Weakerthans in Toledo, but decided against it when the odds proved to be a little too one-sided in relation to whether or not my plan to see them would suceed.

(2) I went to Karaoke Night at BW3 with Nick (one of my friends who is an Arcade Minion).

(3) I sang Sympathy for the Devil (the Rolling Stones version). w00t!

(4) Making friends is definitely easy. Ditto with getting along with co-workers.

(5) I'm considering making shirts. On the front will be "Do you know why the Sakura are pink?" (with some random sakura petals) and on the back will be a panel of Seishirou's eyes from X. I hope this will suceed, because it would be a kick ass t-shirt. If it does, any buyers?

Today, I worked from open till 2. Not too bad, considering all but 2 days last week, I was OC. Tomorrow is my day off *dance dance* I think I might go play some DDR Extreme after I go to the bank, pick up Becca's graduation gift, and get a few other needed things. Sam (the Arcade boss) made the Arcade Boys change the price from 75 cents to $1, but at least we get 5 songs. Eric is going to try to get all the secret songs unlocked.

Speaking of Eric, he's this nice arcade boy who took me to see Matrix Reloaded opening night. He had bought a ticket for a friend, but the friend went ahead and purchased his ticket soon after. The movie was GREAT. The first half was sort of dragging and made me wonder just how many television sci-fi series the writers had been watching. But the second part went back into it's intellectual, film noir-esque feeling. One part looked like it could be a Hideki Anno wet dream. *drools* I fecking love it when my mind is repeatedly raped by a film.

Yesterday, a Japanese couple and their two kids stopped by my game. I understood some of what they were saying. Their cute ickle chubby toddler boy was walking around munching around on a bag of salsa chips. It was so fecking cute and I didn't have a camera. Dammit.

I miss Cayman and Becca very much. And I really miss talking to Amie super late at night. But I'm surviving. I've discovered that I really do have a life outside the internet. I'm actually making a lot of friends :) A lot of them are arcade boys too. They're really nice. They go around claiming they have SARS (Supreme Arcade Revenue Syndrome).

Fear not, lovely creatures, I am still alive. I've just been super busy with work. CP has been working me open to close most of the days I've been here- in the same friggin game no less -.- Well, as long as the money's good, I'll stay. Money is my motivation, yo.

Today was my day off (yay!). I went to the mall, got a hair cut, shopped around a bit. I picked up this Slave Labor Graphics Comic called "Nightmares and Fairytales". It's style is very manga-esque and the story is good. I wanna make comic books like this one!

I've been writing and drawing a lot. I wrote 20 pages of a story in 2 days, and for some reason, I'm starting to draw the said story out. Dur hur hur. I'm a big dork.

I haven't rode any of the rides here yet, sans the train and this rollar coaster called the Mean Streak, but I have found something to occupy my time off. They have Dance Dance Revolution Extreme here. *_*

Finally got around to watching the Newtype Saiyuki dvd sampler. The dubbing was alright ((I've heard worse)), but MAN! they have to do something about the guy who does Goku's voice! During the preview for the next episode, I was expecting him to go Jay on us and say "Snootch to the noonch" or "Snoogans" O.o

Subaru should go emo. He would look great emo. I want Emo!Subaru! XD

Sorry for the randomness. I've been wanting to say that all friggin week.

Well, word up to my peoples! ((er, that would only be Amie, wouldn't it...)).
