Fox is an 18-year old voyeur. Her day consists of going to work at a coffeehouse, then coming home and either playing bass guitar, reading scans, watching anime, or doing other nefarious things online. She also draws. A lot. And she writes when she can. If she were given the choice of world domination or a life supply of pocky, she would choose the life supply of pocky.

I hath finished Gravitation ^_^V
Comments:
-Yuki really is an ass, but he's an ass with a traumatic childhood mishap that scared him for life, so we love him.
- Shuichi whines too much. And thinks about his problems too much. *pulls out mallet-san* Pay *BONK* attention *bonk* to *bonk* your friends sometimes, wontcha!?
- Ryuichi Love all the way, yo. You know how there's books called "The Tao of [insert simplistic character here]"? There should be a book (or a fanfic) called "The Tao of Ryuichi".
- K. Adore K. K is a god *_* A god with military connections *points to the big ass gun, the military-issued walkie-talkie, and the jet that flew Shu-chan in at the last episode* Better yet, K's a secret agent! Like James Bond...only American...and crazy....very crazy...
- Not!Quatre- I mean, Tohma...um, I like him a lot in the manga, because he's more controlled and evil. In the anime he just came off as being bitchy and evil. Bitchy evil. He really has issues if he married Yuki's sister (I forget her name. Mika or Miki or something) and is very much in love with Yuki. Well, we all know what or who he dreams about every night -.-
- Suguru- I didn't care for him too much at first, but he's okay...
- Hiro- HIROOOOO!!!! How can one NOT like Hiro? He's the best friend you go to when you really screwed up. Shuichi could have at least listened to him more...
- Sakano-san- Dear God, I love that guy. Who's his seiyuu? Takehito Koyasu? That makes it all the better *smirks*
- Noriko? Where the hell have you been!? In the manga, you were there in the beginning and had a major role, plus you kicked major ass! In the anime, she's just there. :|
- RE: Nittle Grasper and the lack of guitarist: Okay. Listen to Sleepless Beauty (the song Ryuichi is ALWAYS singing and my favourite song from the show). There is a guitar. And it doesn't sound fake. Usually when a guitar is simulated on a synthesizer, it sounds really fake (usually all instruments do, especially the clarinet. Boy, does a synthesizer clarinet or an electronic clarinet sound like shit). I'll tell you what there is in Nittle Grasper (or at least their song Sleepless Beauty): Synthesizer/Keyboard, Drum Machine (cheap ass bitches), Guitar (which I don't know how there can even be one since it's obviously not synthesized and there is only three members in the fictional Nittle Grasper, two of which are on keyboards and the other only on vocals). Theory: Like the Beatles, there is a secret member of NG. The Fourth Nittle Grasper, let's call it. Perhaps Kumagorou is the Fourth Nittle Grasper *snerk*
Hmm....Nittle Grasper = The Beatles....That means Tohma is OBVIOUSLY Paul *snerk* Noriko is George, and Ryuichi is a nice mixture of John (for his talent) and Ringo (for his overall weirdness).

Fake Album Review of Radiohead's new album (to be released hopefully June 17th) courtesy of Random Perspective. It's funnier if you know the band and their ever-changing styles.

The Cast List for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! Gary Oldman is definitely playing Sirius Black, which makes my day. I'm going to see this one in theatres now. I'm looking over the credentials of Michael Gambon, who snatched the role of Dumbledore, but the only movie I recognize him from is Sleepy Hollow. I remember his character, too. I can't really say if he's a good choice or not based on one other movie I've seen him in :/
Anyways. Read more HunterxHunter last night. I love it so friggin' much. The art is better than Yuu Yuu Hakusho's, but then again, YYH was made before HxH and Togashi-sama would have had time to improve on his art skills (I'm not saying that YYH's artwork is bad; it's just not as good as HxH's). I'm still early in the entire series (Volume 3, Chapter 20), but I still adore it. Thus far, my favourite characters are (in order), um, uh....I can't decide...All the main characters are equally good. I love Kurapika, because of his tragic past and his abilities as a fighter (he's the Kurama of the series, methinks). I love Leorio for his role as comic relief and for his personality (also for his charater design because it's so damn cool). Killua is lovable just because he's Killua :) And Gon- Gon is a slightly more intelligent version of a younger Goku for the Dragonball series (and maybe Goku from Saiyuki, but I think the Goku from Saiyuki deserves more credit than to be thrown into the same category as DB!Goku and Gon). He's innocent, seemingly naive, and has the makings of all classic shounen-manga heroes. All the main characters strike a chord with me. I'm sure that will change, probably when I *finally* get to Kuroro (I've heard a lot about this character, even know what he looks like, ect), but for now, this is how it is.
Oh, and I'm on the verge of finishing Midare Somenishi. It is one big fuckfest, but there is at least a story behind it. Next, I'll be moving onto Alichino, which has finally been taken up by a scanlation group (Sakura Crisis). It's supposed to be Clover-esque and it looks pretty.

Well, I've heard the opinion of a second person on HunterxHunter, so I'm going to start reading the manga again. I was reading scans of it off of Toriyama World, but I became distracted by all the lovely shounen-ai/yaoi manga scans I found online in the past month. Now that it has become apparant that I won't have any new yaoi scans to read for a while (Obsession and Game over... are both experiencing bandwidth and storage issues due to lack of donations), I think I'll start once more on a shounen manga by one of my favourite mangaka (who also happened to draw one of my favourite anime series- Yuu Yuu Hakusho). Since I can't watch Gravitation today (mom stayed home because the roads suck), I think I'll spend my hours in harmonious bliss with my computer downloading HunterxHunter scans. And nobody can stop me! *long, evil cackle*
Oh! For the curious, I do have a new recommendation for manga scans- Ludwig II. It's "based" on the life of Ludwig the Second, King of Barvaria, and told by his cousin(?), Queen Elizabeth of Austria. And it's supposed to be a yaoi. I see no yaoi in the first part! Only Elizabeth angsting over Ludwig, who she obviously loved (I think he loved her back too, but if this is a yaoi, generally the male party doesn't love a member of the opposite sex). The mood is very reminescent of Angel Sanctuary, and it does sound like something Kaori Yuki would write, but it isn't by Kaori Yuki (not her art). I'm honestly half expecting religious symbols and a speech ladened with phrases about being abandoned/forsaken/thrown out of heaven and being sinful to appear. It almost does too! But Ludwig II is an interesting/different manga (it's in colour. Interesting colours). It can be found at Obsession (linked somewhere below).

Amie, I'm so on the same level as you when it comes to clothes. I need new pants. I went shopping today and found a ton of good deals on shirts at Old Navy (97 cents for this nice thermal shirt, yo. and there was nothing wrong with it), but when it came to pants...ugh. I couldn't find my size or a style I wanted. I need more jeans, but their jeans weren't on sale >.< I went to the men's section (I like some of their slacks), but virtually none of the men's slacks were on sale, except for some khaki cargoes, but even then, they were sort of pricy. I want to hit the thift stores down in Dayton sometime. Thrift stores are the best place for finding clothes and sometimes even shoes, especially when you're strapped for cash.

I woke up at 10 to the smell of food (fried potatoes, actually, yo), I ate, and then I went back to bed. I slept till 2-something in the afternoon and now I'm up, only to find out that yet again, we are doing nothing today. Maybe after I check all my dailies, I'll go back to bed.
Addition: Amie, it would be really cool if you made some Tokyo Babylon sprites. That just came to my mind. You could make two versions of Sei-chan: Good Doctor!Seishirou and Sexy Evil!Seishirou :3 Or you could always email me instructions on how to make sprites like yours and I could contribute them to Pixel Empire. ...Please?

Things are going slow today...Ifrance, geocities, AOL (my buddy list still won't show up)...At least Pitas hasn't been acting weird.
Agh. It snoooowed last night. The snow plows cleared it all off the road, but the winds up here are always strong, so the roads are covered once again from snow off the fields. We did nothing today. I didn't even get to watch Gravitation. I can't play the dvd on the computer (too much on it), so I'd have to watch it downstairs. There's no way in hell that I'm going to watch a Japanese cartoon when my mother is around. The last subtitled version of an anime I watched [with her in the room] was Gundam Wing. She made fun of the voices, doing a stereotypical American impression of any oriental language. It really pisses me off when anybody makes fun of any language. It makes the person doing the mocking look really stupid and it's sort of embarassing, especially when said person is the woman who gave birth to you. I always find myself questioning how I can be related to somebody so...ugh. Embarassing? Unknowledgable/uncaring of other languages and cultures? American? Yes. Somebody so American.

Bitching Time
Now, I'll bitch, because I'm still fairly angry. Who am I kidding? I'm still fairly fucking pissed!!! My boss put me on call for two fucking weeks so that he can train somebody during my hours. He said he'd call me if he needed me. Fuck that. There's no fucking way I'm going to sit by the phone for two weeks waiting for that wanker to call! Tuesday, I'm going down to Dayton with mom and Becca to see if I can find a better job (like one that actually pays minimum wage).
For four months, I've been working for that bastard. There hasn't been a day yet where I didn't come in. I came in when my glasses broke (as I was heading out the door mind you), even though I probably shouldn't have because (1) he had music and (2) the lights were so fucking dimmed down that I could barely see anything. I haven't complained about pay or the obvious violations of human resource guidelines that most (if not all) companies and businesses have to follow. As long as I had a job and was getting paid, I was pretty much happy. Well, now I don't have a job (for two weeks) and I'm not getting paid (violation, may I point out. You're supposed to pay a person even when they're on call. You pay them for the time that they spent waiting for you.), so I am not happy. I'm really sick of his "Small Business Man Trying to Make it Among the Big Dogs" spiel that he always gives his employees. His problem is he doesn't advertize as much as he could to get business. He won't advertize at the local high schools because he doesn't want teens to come in and just sit around, not buying anything. That is one of the worst generalization aimed at teens that I've ever heard -.-
Ugh. I'm pissed. But Gravitation was good. It made me laugh. Unfortunately, the names were in Chinese on the English subtitles and they refered to both Suguru and Tohma as "she". Plus there were times where the translations were a bit sketchy, but I still got the gist of it. I like the manga better. The manga is hilarious and more sporadic. Maybe since a company is translating the manga, an anime company will pick up the anime. I really want to see Gravitation dubbed now.
Characters: I LOVE K! The voice actor for Treize and Jinnai playing a crazy American music agent who carries his trust pistol and says English phrases at random (he says random English phrases very well). Sugoi...*_* Then there's Ryuichi! RYUICHI! Wai!
er, I'm gonna stop now.

You can tell a lot about a person from their private sanctum (their room). If you ask somebody to describe their room, they can tell you the basics or give you specifics- like what posters are on their walls, all the different types of small loose items that litter their floor, and the furniture. Specifics say too much, though. Well, that's what I feel when it comes to describing a person's living place.
From my room, you would be able to tell that I'm into three things: anime, music, and the world (in that order). My room is set up so that the most important interests are towards the back, where you will see them when you walk in (my door is adjacant to the farthest wall/window). The things I'm not as enthusiastically into are towards the front and off to the side where you wouldn't really be able to see them at first sight. This includes the computer, my dresser, and the metal rack that serves as a place where I can hang up my clothes (no closet in my room). All of this wasn't intentional. When I actually started buying posters for the bare walls in my room, I put them on the ends of the walls that surrounded my bed. It made me feel more at home.
My sister's room is a bit more interesting. On her walls, she has comic books (Sandman/Dreaming ones with Dave McKean's artwork), pictures of people she is close to (including me), and some posters of her favourite band. She cares about Music, Art, People or possibly interesting pictures of people (they are interesting pictures, too- not just your bland, everyday photographs. They're fun and have some artistry to them).
Anyhow, I have some bitching to do. I may post it later on. You see, Gravitation DID arrive today *purrs* Tetsuo, tell Angela I said thank you again. I'm glad I snatched them up before anybody else did (though I can imagine that there weren't too many people interested in it). She probably could have sold them on ebay, though....for more...and people would have tried to outbid each other....((it's fun to see people go crazy with their money if there's something that they desparately want up for bid)). I also ordered a Weakerthans album from World Records today. That should be there in a couple of weeks or next week. I've given up on XTV3 because the warehouse doesn't have it even though it was in their catalogue -.- I can get the entire series for $60 on that one site that sells anime dvds. Saves me a hundred-or-so dollars. In conclusion, I don't feel like bitching because I have Gravitation to watch X3

Okay, so Louis only lasted two weeks. I can only stand Louis for so long before I can't stand him any longer. Plus there were a ton of things I didn't like about the Louis layout in general. Also, when I saw the yummy picture of Kamui, I just had to do something with it. I'm spontaneous like that. It only took me two hours to make the picture and code everything. Even then, it was simple. I just used the basic html and layout from the last layout, changed the colours and voila! When I'm feeling more inspired, I'll make changed and this will be more original. As it is, it's almost 8 AM and I'm feeling hungry. I just saw one of the best sunrises, too. Some advice: try to see the sunrises. It's a bitch to get up that early, but it's worth seeing one of the marvelous phenomenons in nature.

Well, it's 5 AM and I'm awake. Not wide awake, mind you, but conscious nevertheless. Reason: My sister (everso inconsiderate of people) decided to check her email, which is stangely understandable because she hasn't been home in 3 days to check it during a proper time.
Happy Valentine's Day to everybody who needs a valentine. I'm not a big fan of this holiday, since in the past it has proven to be depressing and heartwrenchingly disappointing, but I can't say that I hate Valentine's Day. I like most major holidays celebrated within the boundaries of the United States (and I'm sure I'd like other major holidays celebrated internationally). This year, I do have a Valentine :3 Cayman, naturally. And the big lug did get me a gift: a Grumpy Bear plushie with a Care Bear tape featuring an episode that focuses on Grumpy Bear and a card that holds the bonus of David Duchovney in a kilt (SQUEEE!!!) and remnance of Cayman wearing lipstick O.o Okay, so my boyfriend is of questionable preferences sometimes....but that's something I overlook because I love him and I wouldn't care anyhow if he were straight, bisexual, or a closet gay man ^_^
This Yami dvd set was brought to my attention. It would only cost me $40. $20 this week, $20 next week and within six days of the arrival of the money, I'd have Yami no Matsuei XD Then maybe I can sell my official US release of the series (with the interesting font, crappy catch phrase, and terrible cover where Hisoka looks stoned off his ass and Tsuzuki looks like he's willing to take advantage of him), but I may keep it for the sake of the amusing dub (I like deep-voiced Blue Gushoushin). Or I could give it to Carla in trade for her Outlaw Star dvd.
*looks up more dvds* HOLY FUCK!!! They have X TV! I could get the series for $56.40 (they split it up into two sections with four dvds in all)! And the cover has yummy leather-clad!Kamui ((*saves picture*))! I love this place *_* They sell Japanese dvds with English (and Chinese) subtitles. I could easily order animes from this site and sell the official US releases that I bought. I could take a page from the books of many and sell them on Ebay. It's actually cheaper (with shipping and all added on) to buy dvds here than it is to buy the official version. Plus you don't have to pay an insane amount for boxsets.
Okay, I have to slow down here...This month, I'll buy the YnM set. Next month, I'll go for X.
And now it's 5:30 AM and I won't be able to go back to sleep. *huggles Grumpy Bear*
Addition: The second X set has a Fuuma with leopards. Not as cute as the froggie, but dammit! It's fucking adorable! Now I have rampant visions of Chibi Fuuma in my head o.o;
Chibi Fuuma: Kitty! Kitty! *reaching for leopards*

I'm reading this yaoi manga called Midare Somenishi. I can't decide if I like it for what it is or because it's satisfies my voyeurism. I'm a sucker for things set in ancient cultures (Japan, England, Rome, Egypt, Greece, Scandanavian, whatever), but ancient/feudal Japan isn't as high on that list (it's an okay period in world history, but it just can't compare to Rome or Gaul or Egypt in their early/high times (Gaul was probably the most primitive out of them all, but the myths are what attract me)). On the other hand, it is an interesting story/good excuse to get two guys fucking >:D

nyao. Angsty bish make me happy. Why? Because their artificial lives are shittier than mine. I'm glad my life isn't being made up by a team of sadistic Japanese women. If I were a CLAMP bishounen...*shudders* I don't even want to think about that.
Ugh. I almost stabbed my boss today. The idiot came running in when I was going to the sink with a knife I had dropped on the floor (a sharp one) and he almost ran into me. Had I not moved out of the way, he would have run into the knife. -.- I don't think accidental murder/serious knife injury would have looked good on any future resume. Oh? And get this: he was running to check how much soup we had left. Why the hell would somebody need to run to check soup!? Argh!!! I like my job, but I think my boss is an idiot at times. *huff grumble grumble*
Hmmm...if la chickie sent the Gravi dvds over the weekend (assuming the money I sent in for them got to her within a week of the day I sent it, which was two Mondays ago), they should get here over the weekend, I'm thinking. It would be super-cool if they came tomorrow, though. Watching a gay romantic-music comedy to celebrate Valentine's Day. Sounds yummy to me.

oh! I met a nice elderly German lady today! She grows and sells dafodils for the American Cancer Society, and she was making all sorts of clucking and chirping noises like various birds. Her clucks, coos, and chirps sounded realistic too! I hope I see that nice German lady again ^^

I Might Be Wrong (the live Radiohead album that came out in 2001) arrived at World Records yesterday. I ordered it for Becca last week, on request. I'm picking it up Friday, since (1) that's when I get paid and (2) that's the earliest time I can get to World Records. With the arrival of this cd, we can finally delete a few Radiohead tracks, including True Love Waits., which is a very good song, imo (nice acoustic action, yo!). As a matter of fact, since it's only 2.15 MB, I think I'll upload it to one of my sites so that it can be available for download for the curious who haven't heard it yet. Hey! That's something I can do with this more-personal website that I've been trying to develop for a few weeks now- I can upload mp3s (under 5 MB) that reflect my personality (a one mp3-a-month sort of deal). I can also include a list/explanation of characters who I've applied the songs to >:D
Subaru: Wench, you better not have applied it to me x.-
Fox: Too late!
Subaru: ...well, then you better not have made a wallpaper x.-
Fox: Thanks for the idea! Am in the process of doing now!
Subaru: D'oh!
((Some random insanity for everybody :P ))
In the meanwhile, I am chomping on these little Starburst hardcandy "Friendship" hearts (with the little messages on them). I'm not just chomping; I'm sadistically chomping >:D
