Hey guys, I'm back on this with a brand new sypnosis, tweaked abit here and there... I'll try and join the two in my free time but as of right now I'll just post this passage i wrote using my laptop... Enjoy.

Announcement of lack of resources shocked the developing island, the only remaining area left undamaged by The Great War... In order for the citizens to avoid extreme poverty, they must sacrifice education for survival skills... Strikes were formed almost everyday... This caused most parents to worry about the intelligence of their own children... Home-schooling was widespread... This sparked an idea to the government; what if they adopted a orphan, give him or her a proper education for their time, as a hypocritical "give them a chance" scheme to get on the good side of the people... In addition he/she might one day rule their country wisely... After scouring over hundreds of orphanages(parents did not trust their children in the governments hands, which have already let their homeland go to melancholy), they eventually they found an infant Raiden Drillids, or 'Ray Gunn', who was born with an unusually high IQ... ... The Government has also selected a chosen another bright child for an education, a slightly spastic baby girl named Camier, just to keep the feminists from flaming...
13 years later, the government has mysteriously "vanished", but not before requesting Raiden, literally the smartest one alive, to search for a new sanctuary for his people, since his world has fallen into pollution/poverty far beyond repair...
He finds a place suitable for comfortable human habitation, but something is stopping him, this force beyond his power fights him to the very end, where is revealed that he has been fighting an elderly version of himself all along... He doesn't turn evil like Anakin or anything, but older Raiden(Zeaxov) turns out to protect Raiden from the many who are after him, and the life of his beloved friend, Camier, who doesn't survive if the future is not altered... The world he is trying to protect has another side to it, the government has been lying to him all along... Nothing is actually wrong(well, for the rest of the world anyway) It was all an elaborate allaby to lure him into the government's(robots) trap, to eliminating a large percentage the human population mercilessly, by collecting all of them in a place, and them terminating all of them at one go... They constantly feed Raiden misleading information, planning him to lead their victims...
Naive and young, Raiden believes a mere child of 14 could help the world, and soon, when he finds out the truth, he is crushed, and his spirit is broken...
Camier is able to inform Raiden of the dangers that await him, but is sometimes clueless herself(kinda like Dori from FN)... She also gives Raiden a stern talk when he's down, encouraging him that although he's just 14, he's also the only one who knows about this, and that she's there to help him... He can't tell anyone else as even if 1 word gets out to the robots, they will get killed instantly... Plus noone believes him so yeah...
In the end, noone notices a thing, noone gives a damn, but Camier gives Raiden a pat on the back as both a congratulation and thanks; both of them satisfied the human race is still present, and learn that the future is not totally in such grasp quite yet... They walk for a while, talking, and unveil the sanctuary they found, smile, and some nice music plays while the camera fades out... And we see them walking in a few scenes, heading towards their sanctuary and detailes are right at the bottom of this post...

Just to let you know...
The movie is not the predictably horrible teen movie everyone expected, as a matter of fact, this movie should avoid the implication AT ALL COSTS!!! It's a film of betrayal, angst, and sometimes even that teen-esque love story movie, but not too much... A few loving glances at each other(Raiden + Camier), but that's as far as they'll go for now; save the romance for the sequel... ;)
Advertising:
The Camier character should not be in the trailers for more than two scenes each...so as to surprise the audience and not to throw them off by the whole "boy-girl-bestfriend" thing... It's best if she's not in the teaser at all, well maybe just a cameo... Loving glances, if any, MUST be in the rain, accompanied by Rufio's "One Slowdance" intro, at least in the trailers... Maybe the "I'll be there for you" song might be suitable... Ooh, and "Bad Day"..okay I'm just listing down the songs on Power 98 here...
Animation:
Ray Gunn would be awesome in traditional 2-D, but might be waaaayy too expensive and undetailed with all the camera rotations... So it’ll probably be in CGI, but character design is important... After all, the whole point of cartoons and animation is caricature, right?
Notes:
Camier. Although she’s abit crazy at times, she’s still a girl, and as one her feelings for Raiden develop, and it’s almost mutual - ain’t it sweet..?
Setting:
It’s in the future, but [name] was one of those countries time sorta forgot... Fortunately, people were educated enough to craft houses, basic electronic appliances and an Internet system... Just in case you’re wondering, I scrapped the whole ‘futuristic world of fantasy’ thing since it was too similar to Disney’s
A Day With Wilbur Robinson... So, after watching The Even Stevens Movie, I realized, I want a reggae-ish tropical island movie! I mean, it wasn’t that good, but I still enjoyed it, because island movies work! Plus with an island I could work in cool volcano and tiki shit there...
Distributor:
I really, really hope PIXAR’ll give this a shot, since I’ve admired them since childhood, and THE INCREDIBLES was the main reason of why I was so interested in (animated) film-making... Plus, this Ray Gunn was built around that
rumour of Pixar’s upcoming movie... And maybe one of my animated short ideas like
the Chikin’ idea or
that dream could open act for it... Well, if that doesn’t work, there’s always DreamWorks! They are aiming for 2 or 3 animated films per year, so I’d think they’re more than welcoming fresh ideas...
Genre:
Good family fun, humour, a little bit of action... Sci-fi too, since the robots kinda take over like Samurai Jack, or I, Robot... But mostly, it’s a teen movie, but not those cliché ones... I want a sweet one...
Humour:
Like any animated (or good) movie, this one has to have it's fair share of laughs as well such as parodies and more importantly, timeless humour, NO FART JOKES --THIS AIN'T NO RUGRATS FILM!!
At one point, Raiden will embarassly shout out 'my people!', in reference to my P6 incident...
Moral:
The whole point of this movie is to do the right thing, no matter if anyone gives a shit or not... You'll still feel good inside... Tell me that isn't good for the kids!
Add directional stuff:
Trailer: Camera flies above mountains, and finally settles in Raiden(on a mountaintop, clothes fluttering by wind)'s eye... Raiden will be in the first "Ray Gunn" pose walking up the mountain, but inverted like this...
We see Raiden's view of the place he has found at the end of a musical number with the lyrics 'place I've found'... Camera rotates to him looking down on it, up from a vine-covered balcony, and all of a sudden it's nighttime when we see Raiden... His eyes are weary, though the smile on his face is the strongest it has ever been... Camera shifts to the right(Raiden's left) abit to reveal a nervous-looking Camier behind him... Thus, creating the view of 'In the Moonlight'...

Ending: When Raiden and Camier have opened the door into the sanctuary(below'll give you the idea), play the guitary-beat of the Black Eyed Peas "Don’t Lie", and when they exchange smiles, start the disc scratching part of that song with the uo-uoh-uo part... And then they run to the beach and start throwing sand at each other... Just when the uo-uoh part is about to end... Fade out: music and camera to black... End... Then during the credits play some other song... Maybe a cool reggae score – oh yeah! Now that I think about it, maybe a continuation of the Toploaders' "Dancing In The Moonlight" with a little animation at the side of the screen while the credits roll... Uh huh...
