I suck at pool!! It's been so long already and I seemed to have transfered all my pool skills into CS!! Today, I went out for CS and lunch and spend the afternoon with Yu San, Ian, Nina, Choon Ling and Tan. We met outside X-gate and played a little CS with Nina watching just to satisfy our CS hunger. Highlight? I KNIFED TAN!!! Bwahahahahahha! I love knifing people!! Then there was the rounds where I would run around with that cheap shotgun blasting people to bits. Love that gun more than the more expensive shotgun. That gun is powerful!! But the problem is the survival rate is not very high unless you are very accurate with it. Then there was the last round where I had the wonderful mommy gun... hahaah...had a good time with that gun too. Aiks!! I used too many 'thens' I will stop now. SO, we left for pyramid. Went down to the makan level and waited for choon ling (who showed up in a Penis T-shirt). In the mean time I got my self a nice big helping of Ice Cream. Thank you lilian for the suggestion! I hope you recovered from your current illness already. Which brings me to announce that Lilian is more dangerous sick than when she's all well. So I must wish her the best of health! Basically today was rather fun. Expensive too because of the trip to the ex-segacity. But then I haven't spent a dime in a few days so I could afford it. Had laughs, can't shoot pool for nuts (no reference to nina) I'll miss all of this very very soon.....
Uh oh.... I finished Diablo 2's expansion today as well... whoops, now I have nothing on my PC to entertain me while I wait for employers to give their replies... oh boy... Well, I could play one of the other classes....but which one? I've already played the 'stay away from me while I zap you' class, so I guess I'll play a frontliner. At around 6, my neighbour called to invite me to a surprise farewell party for her brother who is leaving for scotland in about a week's time. And the party was at 7!! Gosh, one hour's notice... luckily my parents know the neighbours so I actually could go. But first I had to pick my older brother up from the LRT station. Wonderful.... it rained heavily at the moment I wanted to leave the house....so I waited a few minutes before I actually set out. When I got back, the rain slowed down to a drizzle. What a break! My brother's a jinx sometimes.... I did mention the horrors that happen to my car when he's in charge of it... Went to my neighbour's house, only to find out the cat was let out of the bag by my neighbour's eldest sister who called from Australia. So no surprise in the party at all. Instead, we were surprised!! There was a cake saying "happy birthday" and no one's birthday was coming up! The birthday cake was to celebrate my neighbour (Ivan) 21st birthday in five months time because he would be in Scotland. Geez... is the 21st birthday that important? I think I'll spend mine in low profile... Anyway, got to meet old friends, my old tuition gang, and other high school friends. Had loads of laughs especially after the stuffing face with food or else auntie would come after us asking us boys to finish the food.... sigh.... overall, nice to meet everyone and catch up on what everyone was doing. Dang I miss everyone
Oh wow..... if I didn't get the expansion set for Diablo 2 I would have finished it today!
My sorceress has finally acheived the status of an acceptable magician able to cause enough
damage to stop any foe dead in it's tracks. Even Diablo himself could not match her powers.
But the Diablo was kinda stupid. Ran circles around him while casting Blizzard and letting
the Thunderstorm do its job. Diablo 1's Diablo was far more menacing than this fella. Thus officially I have finished Diablo 2! And now I'm playing Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. Now for the review of Diablo 2. Basically it follows the same game style as Diablo 1. Not
many changes. The selection of characters are quite good. The Amazon (somewhat like the Rogue
in Diablo 1), she's good with spears and bows/crossbows, The Paladin, the holy knight which
is probably the best character to play with if you're new to the game, The Barbarian, the
big fella which I love to refer to as 'Gaston' from Beauty and the Beast, he's the ultimate
fighter in the game. His skills and power with hand to hand weapons are so great that for a
time I was so jealous at his ability to get into a whole mass and still emerge victorious.
Then there is the Necromancer. In Diablo 2 they made the Necromancer a 'neutral' character
which is neither on the side of light nor on the side of evil. Could argue with them but hey,
it's just a game. Anyway, this fella is very good at getting his minions to do most of the
dirty work for him. True, he summons undead and golems to beat the crap out of the enemies.
But I know a friend who crashed the game because she summoned too many minions. Lastly, the
Sorceress. What can I say? She depends solely on magic rather than weapons and armour. She
has an advantage over the fighters, when you die and lose all your equipment, she is still
almost as powerful as she was with the equipment. So she can calmly go back to where she died
and exact vengence on those who killed her and claim back her stuff. That brings me to the next point. There is no save game option because when you die you
automatically come back to life in the town. The only thing permanently lost is some gold
you had when you died. Then there is the trouble of having too much cash. I HAVE SOOO MUCH GOLD!
I have run out of place to put it! This is because I have nothing to buy as they never sell
anything nice. Of course this only happens to picky characters and even then, only at the
end of the game. Then the stash is not very big, I ran out place to put all the jewels I collected
over the course of the game. Now.... how do I get into the secret cow level? It's a level where axe-wielding cows attack
you in the dozens at the same time turning your character into a McHero burger. Okay now for the segment I am supposed to post for Jean's website.
Bleh...... tired...... I've been driving too much lately. In the morning, drove twice to the LRT station, then went to college and back, then went back to the LRT twice again....... sigh..... what to do? Got car will travel Whoops..... chatting with many many people right now. Can't concentrate on the blog. This is what happens when I can't have the PC until I actually go online.....sheesh. But then today there isn't much to put up. Except the thing Jean wants us to put up for her. But I'll put it up tomorrow when I get it composed. Not much today I guess..... till tmr!! You'll get something out of it Jean! Felt a little down today, but it sort of passed....
Woah!!! So many things happened today! It was great until the recent tragedy that happened in the US. First, I did not blog yesterday as my younger brother was online and doing his work at the same time, thus unabling me to blog nor chat with people. So in cases like this, even my old computer can't help me as I only have one telephone line at home. Okay.......now the Papiggya thing has blown up sooooo much out of proportion.... Cindy and Lilian wouldn't stop banging me about it today, Jean also had a good laugh.....
reverse psychology doesn't work on you guys does it? Oh well.... anything to negate today's melancholic mood. Today I had no lunch at home and thus I decided to go out and eat with Yu San in college. However it so happened that Yu San had her lunch in the canteen and so we moved on to play CS. Had an average CS day I guess.... a few sparks of 'power' every now and then but it didn't last long. Earned a couple of jabs from Yu San for reasons I cannot comprehend (eg. That's for thinking it!) Sent Cheng off at the KLIA today! The occupants for my car are Li Lian, Cindy, Lois and The Cockroach. Lois and the Cockroach were last minute pickups which really got me worried for a while as I didn't know whether my time planning would be totally ruined. Alan couldn't come today because he had work to do (working man mar... must feed his darling also). Yeah Lilian was late..... but fortunately I planned everything to accomadate tardiness and last minute plans. Had a short 15 minutes to see cheng off (I drive really slowly you know) Didn't see how much luggage she carried with her but I do know she had a new laptop (Compaq) and used the school bag to carry smaller items. Geee..... if it were me, that school bag would have been about 2 times bigger....but I'm a large person. Oh oh... Sandra and Daniel were there too. Not a large group either.... the rest of the group gave Cheng a windchime as a gift and it was funny hearing Lilian go "See you in London". Overall, she only went to tears after hugging her sister... my my....almost made it without crying.(who am I to say? I have dry eyes and to make me cry would take greater effort) Took my own sweet time to get back from the airport (since I couldn't see my dashboard and I'm partially nightblind). The conversations in the car involved two different groups, Ian and Lois, Cindy and Lilan. Me? Happily driving and listening to both conversations at once. Of course Cindy and Lilian took the occasional time out to bang me somemore.... at least Yu San was not present to complete the trio. (Reminds me of Diablo 2, "If the three were to unite, the whole world will be in Chaos") Had dinner at a place called R&R in SS19. Had a nice chit chat with my car mates and were amazed by the Roach's ability to make no sense out of anything. Then Lois got a call from her brother informing her of the attack. Not long after that, we ended up having a candlelight dinner as the power went out. Must be all the people switching on their TVs at the same time, causing the substation to die. Then I reached home......pooped.....and found that everyone is harping about it. So much bad energy floating around.... what a crummy ending to a rather fine day. To the victims of the attacks, I pray that you will find peace and solace in the world beyond. While we live you shall not ever be forgotten
I have stumbled upon a horrible discovery! Bumming produces brain rot! I discoverd this when I thought back of the last couple of weeks. I realised that I have
been doing a lot of unreasonable things due to the lack of intelligent thought which is
normally added into my brain processes! A recent example : "Yu San, is your headlights still
on?" (this question came up because I noticed the door light was on) and even when I play
games.... Playing Diablo 2 Ooops! Missed yesterday's blog and didn't announce it. I was at Tariq's house as part of
a farewell party. So by the time I came back (although it was before 12) I headed straight
to bed as I'm not too much of a nighty person. Woe to whoever chats with me after 1 am! I
would tend to find everything and anything either funny or extreamely dull. Although I was the biggest in size to attend yesterday's gathering I probably ate very
little. I had a bad bad lunch.... that koay teow didn't agree with me and thus wrecked my
appetite for fear of another bout of toilet sessions. But then I saw everyone have the dessert
and I wished I could have some....unfortunately at that precious moment, my stomach decided
to give my nerves a test of pain endurance once again. Oh well....on the bright side, saved
Tariq a couple of buckaroos. Oh yes... Yu San drove me on Saturday!! hahahah.... I could get used to the "driven" title...
nah.... once a driver always a driver I guess.... besides, when I move to Shah Alam I'll
have to drive even more. Today, my parents started harping on the recent job ad they found for me..... now they
want me to apply for a job in Shell. They mean well, but like most people, the more I'm
bugged, the more I don't want to do it. Baaaaaad baaaaaaad Fabian.... (emulate like a sheep) Whoops, I forgot again.... after most of the gang went back yesterday, Hani, Yu San and Tariq
decided to combine two of my nicknames today..... what kind of a name is "Papiggya"? Sigh...
one day.... I will get Yu San for the Papaya thing (actually there is something I can get her
at but I didn't think it was a right nickname, sorry Nina, I won't use it) and the next victims
are Li Lian and Cindy for being the primary source of all pork jokes. Hmm.... I just thought of the YCCian mailing list.... I think I'll give it another mail
from me tomorrow.... This is all Yu San's fault!! I'm listening to the Moulin Rouge MP3s now. I do not want to
get obsessed with the songs nor the movie.... looks like I'm failing again. *now hearing Ewan's
redition of Your Song* |
