Darn...... I have to monitor ONE session of the World Cup this weekend. My content providers will be out of town. Oh well...... worse come to worse, go online at that time. Agggh!! SMS server had problems today. It's not my fault!! Don't scold me!! IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!! Note to all future employers of mine : I AM NOT SUPERMAN!! Don't expect miracles! Just because I say it can be done doesn't me I can do it FAST. I can tell you it is possible to do, but I may not know HOW to do that because, number 1, I'm a FRESH GRADUATE with what... one month working experience in IT?, number 2, how the heck am I supposed to implement systems when I don't even KNOW what system I'm working with? PLUS: I don't have the best memory in the world. Very likely I'll forget anything you say in a very short span. Don't ask me to quote! Quality control bad? You should see the way things are run! Hyper hyper hyper....... that's what I am at the moment. Tired yet hyper.... how weird is that? Heheh.... don't have to work this weekend. That allows me time to go TV hunting. Might as well, since I'm not doing anything on Saturday. Banks are closed so no point trying to close my Standard Chartered account. Hmm what to blog what to blog........ I guess spewing nonsense on my blog wouldn't help. Tomorrow going to be hell though..... got meeting with client in the morning, then have to act as advance party as he will be checking on the promotors..... have to jump ahead and make sure everything is dandy. Hopefully nothing goes wrong this weekend......
Verdict is in! I'm to buy another TV for my PS2. It has been found that the TV I have at the moment is forever not able to be PS2 compatible. Thus I am to look around for a cheap small TV that would serve its purpose until I move. Ahhh heck.... I'll keep that TV for myself and use it in the new house. Gaaa!! Listening to the soundtracks of FFX! So nice!! Compared to the ones on the PS the PS2 sounds are 100X better. Very very itchy to get the TV now... Anyhows..... yesterday there was an error in the SMS message sent out, so I had to delete the queue and resend the message. Problem.... I needed to FTP the server. I was FTP less... couldn't download cuteFTP, couldn't use DOS to send.... my programmers were stuck in jams... sigh..... So now my boss is paranoid..... every result he calls me up to ask me to check. Bugger... can't people do THINGS RIGHT??? Sigh....... I wanted to play CS yesterday..... was doing so much better than the weekend... Football football, everywhere football...... with football comes..... work for Fabian. Oh well, at least I'm the most informed person about the scores.
Bugger it all.... can't even have free time without having problems left right and center from work. May the person who typed "France" instead of "Germany" be royally hung over a cliff by one leg and spanked. *grumble grumble* I lost all mood today.
Friday: Also sent number 1 boss home that day. It was weird hearing people shouting GOALLLLLL!! when Beckham scored. For me, it was "oh darn, boss forgot to take the laptop.... now must send to him. Bleh.... and I just got home too.... Saturday: Problem: My stupid TV can't display the colours of the discs played. There's not colour system switch on my TV!! HOW CAN THAT BE??? DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!! Why did you have to get the lousiest TV on the face of the planet? Even TV's older than this one can play PS2. Grrrr...... My dad wants to find out what he can do...... so I'm not supposed to do my own troubleshooting yet. If I have to buy another TV.... waaa!! I don't want to spend so fast!!. Sunday: Work matters also showed up again. I hope there's nothing wrong...... otherwise I forsee that I'd be working EVERY WEEKEND this month. Gaaa I'm tired. I wannnnt to play FFX!!! So close.... so close........ Oh yeah...... I can't play CS for nuts now. Too much Jedi Knight. Can't aim anymore. |
