I lost again!!! Of all the lousy dice rolling I can have!! That's my lamentation of today's luck in Cashflow. Yup, played it with Yu San, Hani, Nina and Tan at Tan's house. Yu San won.... oh well.... I no longer have the luck I guess. Hahaha..... but managed to finish 2nd. For the second time in a row I had to keep rolling even numbers at the wrong time.....bleh Had lunch at Burger King... boy I miss onion rings a lot. But I still feel that the one from Jack in the Box were nicer. Oh well... not many places have onion rings now. But overall, Burger King is nice.... but a tad pricey. Oh yeah... I went home to go to church.... my brothers said "tomorrow lar". Grrr... lazy buggers.... looks like tomorrow evening we'll be going. Oh well..... took the time to wash my car and try to clean the chairs.... don't know the effects on the chairs yet because it kinda got dark before the solution dried. My older brother playing Alone in the Dark 4. Looks interesting. Will start playing it after I finish the current Arcanum character... which won't be too long since I know where to go and what to do already :). The graphics are superb!! And the effects are very very scary!! I wonder if I dare to turn off the lights and play the game with sound on. Creeepy. Cindy!! How's your driving? hahaha....must see you on the road one day!!
BAH!!! Now only pitas let's me in!! Soooo long!! Pitas don't like me no more..... So I don't have much mood to type a lot of stuff in today. My mom asked me to do 2 things today related to her computer. Sigh....moms..... I called a ecommerce company for a position as an IT trainer... but they want to post me in branches (reallly far) for months at a time.....so I turned them down. I don't want my first job to require me to spend a lot more than I should. Oh..well....... stop now......mood ended...
Bah!! Finally!! It took me half an hour to actually get online!! Plus ICQ was very very teruk!!! So long to get in!!
Today's not my internet day...... Apparently I'm not the only one having problems.....hahah not alone in my misery. Today had breakfast with Yu San. Went to Peppercorn. Haven't been there for a while but the lady there still knows us. Hahah.....regular customers last semester :). Oh before that, went to pick up my Diablo2 CDs from Ian. Hahaha....he was sooo sleepy I doubt if he remembers waking up. Luckily I remembered to give him a call. After breakfast, Yu San and I played a little Diablo2 Multiplayer, using my Sorceress as backup while her Assassin goes in. Hahhaa....true, my character's powers make it feel like Yu San's character was meant to be a decoy. Hmmmm..... watched the Others today... what an unexpected ending!! Lil would call it creepy (I think that's what she called it) but I feel that it's totally unforeseen. Not to mention what a creative point of view! Guess that's all for now... a little tired from the stress from connecting to icq...
Whoopee!! I fixed IT!! My diablo2 now works properly!! Muahahah! Took a little inginuity, but I got my Druid back!! YAY!!. So in a way, I was very very happy in the morning. I was supposed to go to Ian's house to try and fix his Oracle program, but he called and said that I don't need to. Thus I told him that I would only come to college at 2.00 pm. But the smart fella called me at 12 and asked me to come to college right away. Thinking that something new has come up, I rushed and went to college, searching for parking spots and avoiding lousy drivers. That fella didn't have anything for me to do!! BAH!! In the end sat in SAO, chit chat until 2 pm when Yu San and Sam were free..... he didn't get away with it so easily.... Played CS. I guess it was one of those days I can only play with snipers. Couldn't use much of anything else. But overall, very satisfactory. Could be worse I guess :)....like this morning's short run in with the pros of Damansara Jaya........ gosh...... Oh well......love to stay and blog, but busy tackling this slow internet connection.... till tmr!
Whoops, in our haste to trade items with each other, Yu San and I have a bit of a problem. Now our Diablo2 cannot read our characters!! It must have been saved in another version. Thus, we have tried to patch our version but so far it cannot work because the file which is to be patched is incompatible. But fear not, I will continue my research in a few possible solutions: Anyway, today was quite fun! I went to subang for breakfast with Ian. The it was followed by the switching of our diablo 2 items and a bit of CS. Then Hani called. So Yu San and I left to pick her up at Metro and went to Carrefour to do some of her shopping. When that was done, my brother called early (1 hour) and thus I had to leave for home. Then surprise surprise, Hani and Yu San decided to come to my house! Hahahh... haven't played the host for so long. We chatted a while, I let them have the last of my birthday cake, fed Hani somemore...heheh.....and well....they tried to get me to model, but I refused. Instead I had to show them my cats, but in her struggle to run away, both Hani and I received a couple of cat scratches. Not to worry. Cats are like that, run away from people. Then we played Cashflow... dang.....for the first time, I was still stuck in the ratrace while Yu San won!! No fair!! I had a good start!! What went wrong??? I know what went wrong, I kept rolling even numbers when not on the opportunity boxes!! BLEH!! Dad's going to Gold Coast tmr till Monday. Hope he brings something back :) My brother is going to drive unsupervised in my car to college and back tomorrow. Errr.... this is the beginning of the end for the "my car" status. Whoops....better get cracking on my Diablo2 problem. See ya!!
It's my birthday!! Woooo hoooo! Wooo hooo!! Wooo hooo???? That's the reaction I got this morning when I read today's paper. Boy oh boy... Afgan got hit.... at 12.25AM today.... right...what a way to start my birthday... But I'm not depressed. In fact I said "Could be worse" hahah... defence mechanism in action. Anyway, recieved a wierd birthday card. Wierd, because it was from KL Mutual, delivered by hand!! Talk about customer relations :) Anyway, spent today finishing Arcanum. Yes, I've finished it!! Now I'm starting all over again... this time with a different character with different style. A gun toting thief with charm!! mauahahah. Tell you more about the game next entry tomorrow. Had lunch alone today........sad isn't it? Well, my mom called to say she was running late, my brother went off with his girlfriend so there wasn't much I could do about it. Sure, I could call people......but at the 11th hour? Nah... so skipped down to Atria and had a small lunch. But woah and behold!! I actually went to buy VCDs!!! I NEVER buy VCDs!! Hahahah....... bought three, The Others, KOD and Cats and Dogs. Although it was rather pricey, but I was very very generous today. Must be the bday feeling. To all my well wishers today, Thank you! Each message I get makes me happier. But one thing though..... I AM NOT A PAPIGIYA!!!! HANI THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!! Not to mention Tariq too! Cindy!!! How's your driving?? My brother is starting to drive my car.... I am in danger of losing it altogether!! Noooooooooooooo!!
In a very very very short time, I will turn 21 years of age. Boy, has time flown by
leaving me dazed. Upon reflection on my past 21 years, I am quite thankful on the experiences that I have
gone through. Sure, there were bad times, but a whole lot of good times too. Regrets aplenty
but that's not important. What's important is that I move on. Yes, time to leave the past in
its rightful place. It's been swell I guess, this life of mine. Granted that it is very much different from
most people. But I am happy with the way I turned out. Today I actually slept until 1 pm!! What the??? I was supposed to wake up early to do some
stuff!! I guess my body just refused to wake up to face the day. It was a beautiful day too!!
Dang!! BAH!!! Watched Buffy and said..... "What happened?". That's probably because my dad kept calling
me to do stuff and my mom to see certain advertisements and newspaper articles. Oh well. Sunday
afternoons, what more do you want? Whoops......forgot to give Sandra a call too. In Arcanum, my character is so powerful he can afford to disintegrate opponenets left right
and centre!! Muahahah... power!! Thinking of retrying the game once I'm done (couple of days).
Woo hoo!! He's also a master swordsman who dodges very very well to! Bah again.... pitas slow like it doesn't like me....... After dinner saw Harrison Ford in Fugitive on HBO... but towards the end, HBO's transmission
konked out. Cis!! The ending eludes me now... must watch the endless reruns of that show. WAH!! Yu San's entry soooo long!! hahaha......that show's she's back in the blogging mood!
