Senan is sick....... so you can observe a sleeping figure in the house throughout most of
the day. I hope it's not contagious....... we both share the same room. If I get sick next
week......... it wouldn't look good during the evaluation..... Today finally got down to buying the damn mosquito repellent. Last night they kept buzzing
in my ear.......so benci!!! But then it's so darn expensive now!! RM8.40 for one!! What the
heck?? Overall, nothing much happened today. Can't put any thoughts down now as well. Too many
things happening at once. If I had time to sit in front of the PC before I go online it
wouldn't be a problem. Oh yes..... Sandra!! If you read this, are you CSing tmr? My friend tiba tiba asked me
to play, so I figured I could join you two. Next....... CINDY!!! Which weekend are you free??? I still need to give away these shoes!!
haahah...... also nak pick up some PS games :) Don't mind ya?
Bleh.....dull day...... nothing to do except housework, read papers, play games and watch
anime. Which brings this to mind. Ruriko (Gatekeepers) has the best male bashing technic I have
ever seen!! So disarming.......yet so painful....... In today's episode, she told Ukiya (her
childhood friend): "Ukiya, I haven't noticed it until now...." *gently caresses Ukiya's face,
AND THEN gives a big tug!* "you called me Ruripe!!! (meaning Ruri the sniveller) Bwahahah!!
It's not the first time she did this. A few episodes back she used disarming words instead. Heheh... I'm still Sakura Wars crazy. Hunting down its mp3s like mad. I never thought that
I'll do this sort of thing..... Hmmm.... I really have nothing much to write about today........ oh well.....tmr's another
day!!
Unbelievable!! Hahah.... Terence actually came home before 10pm. His pickup time was at
9. I'm not complaining. Woo hoo!! I don't have to leave halfway through blogging and chatting.
But then next week, he might be sent to Labuan for a week. Not confirmed yet though. Today went out with Yu San and Samantha to college. Visited SAO, met up with James and Chuen
Ian as well. Had lunch at the new Chicken Rice stall in INTI. Well...not too bad I guess.
Then went to McDonalds for....... ICE CREAM!! Yipppeeeeeeeee!! However, the ice cream that
fella twirled for me.....well....... looked like..... how would I describe it? Scrawny?
It surely didn't look like the normal shaped ice cream that McDonalds gives. Later, played CS with Yu San and Samantha. The place was freaking cold!! I couldn't do
things right. Can't buy guns fast, can move mouse right, and slowed reactions. Bleh.... also
haven't recovered enough to engage Yu San in CS combat. Kept losing!! Bah!!! How the FISH
does she always single me out from a whole group of people! Probably the only time I killed
her was in the Dust map where I sniped her foot. Overall, played okay only lar. Held my ground
against the rest. Even kill to death ratios. Then Yu San wanted to get her comics. She got her comics alright...... except those issues
she missed, but then the most recent issues were......well...... silent. Her Young Justice
issue wasn't even part of the story and her Spider Girl was...... wordless!! hahah Silent
movie style. As I was sending Samantha to the KTM station, I found out that I was supposed
to drop her off at Carrefour instead. Get this......she didn't even tell me when I turned the
corner into the KTM road. Yu San was the one who made the most out of it. hahahah.... got
an earful alright. Lately, I've started thinking the way Cindy does..... like an anime. Oh dear.... I finally
got infected after all these years. At least the infection hasn't been limited to me. Yu San's
going "yosh!!". Hahah... as for me, I'm thinking about reactions anime style. Waaaaa!! I'm listening to "Sakura" from Sakura Taisen the game....... I'm nuts...... Oh yes, Chuen Ian dropped a big hint today. "I'm free after 12 on Saturdays". Hahaha...
okay lar Chuen Ian, if you read this entry then you message me okay? Coming Saturday I will
have lunch and play CS with you. Poor fella. Like he's all alone in College. Hey Cindy, Lilian, do you know where I can go and get anime soundtracks and VCDs? Besides
Sungai Wang of course.
Absolutely nothing happened today except the usual. Dull? Well..... had plenty of laughs
watching Gatekeepers and You're Under Arrest. FY does have its moments too. Hmmm..... now......what can I blog about today? *Scratches head* Well, I found out that my CD Rom doesn't like the MPEG editor CD which I recently lent to
Yu San. Oh well..... I'll get another one later. Too bad Adobe Premier doesn't read certain
vcd formats..... otherwise I would have been very happy making my own music video from FF9.
I'll wait until I can install the converter. I also have plans to finally take down my yucky last minute website and revamp it! Darn....
why do I get urges when I'm not going to be free anymore? Was thinking of making flash animations
and dedicated pages to certain stuff I enjoy :). Hahah.... it'll take a while I guess. Slowly
lar :) Downloaded this new list of PS games that has been successfully been tested and ran on my
emulator. Woo hoo!! Now....... CINDY!! Pinjam Parasite Eve and Xenogears!!! I guess I could
try out other games too...... after all, the virtual game console by Connectix seems to be
very stable.....and there are loads of people out there that tackle any programming problems
such as the one found on FF9. I went on to Ebay last night, just for fun of course, and I found Sakura Wars VCD set on
auction!! The current bid was US$17 (now over already). Sniff!!! I wantch!!! But... I don't
want to pay for online stuff until I have a credit card to my name in a seperate account.
Oh well...... I can........live....... Chee Onn asked me out for another CS outing, but then I had to get some things done. Sorry
Chee Onn! I gave my dad Adobe Photoshop in a compilation CD. I gave him instructions on how to find it.
Yet today he says it's not there!! I had to rerepeat myself again. He says I'm bad at giving
instructions, I say he's deaf. ahahah....wonder who's right? True, my oratory skills have
taken a dive since the last college brain burnt out. Need to learn how to wake up before 8am again. Not good.....4 months of goofing off has
really taken it's toll on my sleeping habits. Not to worry! I can drive up and early because
I send my brother to the LRT station every morning. It's the getting up before the "nick of
time" that's going to be a painful readjustment. Hmmm.....Wizardry 8 has a small bug which should be fixed by downloading a patch. Senan
can't proceed to the last stage of the game because it refuses to load. Oh well... I'm having
trouble jumping over this river of lava (because the game doesn't allow you to jump!) so I
have to try run across and bounce up and HOPEFULLY land on the other side. Irritating process.
I miss Sakura Wars...... hahha... thus my obsession for my first anime has begun. I've
been contemplating buying a Dreamcast just so that I can play Sakura Taisen 1,2 and 3. It's
cheap no doubt (about 50 US dollars only) but then it doesn't have a bright future. So I feel
that it's not too good a choice. However, good news is....... Sakura Taisen has plans to
be released on the Playstation 2! And there is Sakura Taisen 3 version for the PC. Time to
go hunting........ Speaking about the Playstation 2, I am totally amazed at how powerful the machine is
compared to the PC. Hmmm.... for gaming purposes, the PS2 has outstripped the current PCs
about tenfold. Looking at it that way, I'm waiting to see which is more worth it to get.
An Xbox or a PS2. Currently I'm leaning towards the PS2 (except the fact that there's not
many games for PS2) but it too can play PS1 games hehe.... the Xbox has not yet been really
tested against it. I think I should be able to save for it within a year or so. Could be
shorter but I prefer not to rush into things. Went out for lunch with two of my high school classmates, Chee Onn and Kok Wing. I took
them to Jonny's at 1 Utama. Did a bit of catching up with them. Was interesting listening
to them compare their austrialian lives. Bumped into Siew Chuan, another high school person.
He studies in APIT. And I warned him about Tan. Big warning :) heheh.... I have to prepare
him for the worst!! Nope.....Tan, your fame has not really spread far and wide. He doesn't
know you are a lecturer there. While in 1Utama, I wanted to check out Tower Records (funny, I've never been there even
though I go to 1Utama quite recently). But then due to the construction going on, we could
not find our way to the place. I don't even know if it's still there! Sigh..... I bet someone's
laughing now...... After I sent Kok Wing home, Chee Onn wanted to play snooker. Sigh....one round of snooker.
Guess who won? After that he wanted me to teach him how to play CS. Okay...down to the cyber cafe we went.
I was named "Trainer of escaro". Taught him the basics of the game and tried to stick with him,
except for the rounds I got tired of not being in the front. Strange thing.... Trainer was
quite good!! Top of the list :) hehehe. Wonder how I managed to pull that off while jagaing
someone. Played a little Starcraft before the CS though. Stopped halfway because well..... I think
it was going to be a long standoff, with me so defensive and the fact that I managed to
sneak a secret base behind his lines and blasted away his resource gatherers at his main base. After that, he wanted to try Aliens vs. Predator 2. Didn't play for long because my
comp hanged after a while. Thus ended the cybercafe session. Now........back to the hunt!!!
Today I went to the same place Yu San went to in the morning for an interview. In fact,
I made two appointments for two different posts on the same day!! That was weird because it
was in different ads too. Oh yes, Yu San offered to show me how to get there..... the reason?
Fishcakes! (turns slightly green). Oh well. At least I know I can drive there and everything :). Anyway, my interview was one of the shortest I have ever gotten. Hmmm... and also one of the
least informative ones I have ever had! The fella was... come for next week's training for
more information. Ah heck.... go only lar.All I know is.... I applied for a position as
IT executive. But that one overflowing with ppl. So the guy tells me that I may not get
it. If that happens, I would be placed as a Marketing Executive. More details during and
after the training period I guess. They replaced Sakura Wars with Fushigi Yugi!! Whoopee!! I get to watch where I left off!
Don't feel like blogging long today. Have to maintain chats and fight off mosquitoes. Oh yes, thank you ash for the email. I will have to add you to my links soon. :)
Guess what my older brother did? Before I took a bath just now, I lowered the blinds in
my room and closed the door after I sprayed insecticide all over the room. Those darn mosquitoes
just won't quit! Anyway, after I finishing bathing, I opened the door (it was still closed)
and found Terence at the computer playing Wizardry 8. And he raised the blinds!! Well...in
a way that's good because he wouldn't poison himself. But then I asked, "didn't you smell
that I sprayed the room?". His answer.... "so that was what the nice smell was." I can just
faint there and then you know..... Time for recapping my weekend. On Saturday afternoon I played CS at the nearby cybercafe.
I did ask Terence whether he wanted to play. He declined and thus I went there alone to
challenge the local crowd. Started out quite badly, but then I improved over time and played
quite decently. Over the CS chats I sort of made new "virtual" buddies. There were two excellent
players, p and Pik (short for Pikachu I guess) and one fella about my standard, Sadam. Sorry
lah, I don't know them personally. So the 4 of us were chatting throughout the game. Mostly
when we die of course. Thus I made the name "Bullet Magnet" finally recognised in DJ. Nife
didn't make a big impact yet. At night, my parents were invited for a neighbour's house warming party. Children not invited.
So we had seperate dinner than my parents. Later Ian Jon Albert came to pick me up for the
supper gathering. Didn't bring my handphone because my dad forbade it but then I really should
have brought it. Why?? Couldn't call Michelle or Chuen Ian until Joyce finally showed up.
Supposed to meet at 10, but then Joyce was still out with her parents sending her brother off
at KLIA and thus she came back quite late. So gave Chuen Ian a call and found out that he
was at his house and not at michelle's. Apparently he was supposed to wait for Michelle to
pick him up. First went to Michelle's house. IJA got down to discuss with Michelle, and then
we went to pick CI up. Returned back to Michelle's place. There we waited for Kok Keat to
show up. Saw Michelle, her brother and CI play DDR. Hahah.... I feel more comfortable with
a group of bad DDR players than with a group or good DDR players. No offence but I'm very
self concious. Finally left her house and went to Rafi's near Sri KL. Originally supposed to be Puchong
or Ampang. Oh well...... sort of expected something to happen. Additions to the group was
Michelle's brother, and her cousin too. Ding was supposed to join later but Joyce, IJA and I
left earlier due to curfew reasons (not IJA though, he definately no curfew). Today, I made a point to meet Sandra and Daniel at the Cybercafe so that I could collect
the amount owed from the new year's eve dinner. Joined them for CS too. That Daniel!!! I
played as Bullet Magnet again, and he first puts "Nife" then he switches to "snx8" (don't ask
me why, he changes when I scold him) and later he switched to "Bullet Magnet". Even Sandra
played as "Bullet Magnet" for a while. Eventually everyone was getting fed up of there being
more than one "Bullet Magnet" because when a new map changes the people who were teamed up
with me didn't know whether I was on their side or not! So I told them I would change my name
into something that the "fake Bullet Magnet" would not change to. And Voila!!! Another nick
of mine makes it's debut in DJ. Enter "Perempuan Garang"!! Anyway, played a good game today. Wasn't frustrated with my playing style. Yay!! Hahah...
managed to beat the camper's scores too! Nyeh!! Pbbhhhttt!!! |
