Visitors for today: My grandmother, my grandaunt, my two aunts and my cousin. These 5 were the visitors today who came down to the house to pre-celebrate my 21st birthday. So before they actually arrived, we had to do the customary cleaning up of the house, since my grandmother is particularly picky on cleanliness..... (doesn't run in the genes). Then they arrived and after a short hello and them giving me some pink envelops with something inside....wonder what it is.... *rummage*........ oh....more money....whoopee?? I don't feel the need for so much cash as I did before.... We then had dim sum for lunch at what used to be called "Jade Restaurant" in Uptown Damansara. Now it is called Kok Kee.... and what's more? The restaurant shrunk into a single lot for it's two lot size. As usual....... ordered WAY too much food and all shoved into.......me!! blergh!!! So stuffed!! I feel like a pig being prepared for slaughter! At the end of lunch, everyone says they are full........ what's next? Read on... When we left the restaurant, my relatives wanted to buy a birthday cake for me, so I followed them to Secret Recipe in SS2 to pick a cake. Picked Chocolate Banana cake (the rest were all sorts of cheese cake....not that I have anything against cheese, but when picking between chocolate and cheese it was rather easy). I figured we would have the cake later. BUT NOOOOOOOOO, as soon as we arrived back home, they take out the cake, lit the candle (twice!! the wind blew and poof! No more fire!! yay! Less work..... but still have to blow another set of fire out, this was after the song was sang too). So had a BIG slice......*grumble* and everyone else also ate..... gosh..... I thought lunch was sooooo filling I was about to explode. After that they left for my aunt's house. I remained so stuffed that dinner looked so large.... for once, I'm not even thinking about having ice cream tonight. Oh....when my relatives left, I wanted to go join the YCCians at Pyramid. Unfortunately, it was going to rain....and I am supposed to go to church today. Thus, the green light never appeared. Oh well. Hmmm...... I still need to pass Sandra some stuff from Li Lian, maybe I'll see if she's free tomorrow on her usual CS rounds in the afternoon. On a happier note...... I slept a lot today because it rained!! Dark+ Cold = nap!!! There's no other time I am able to sleep during the day, the other time is when I suffer from sleep deprivation.
Geez, today pitas is very slow. Took me more than 30 minutes to get to this page. Either it's the server, or it's my old PC acting up again. Yup, you guess it, I'm back to my downstairs pentium computer because my brothers are using the usual PC. Hahah, I watched Dudley Dogood. Funny!! Brenden Frasier can play all these silly roles quite well. I understand now why so many girls like him. Wonder how he does in his new movie... My relatives are coming down for lunch at 1.30 pm! So no chance of me being at two places at the same time. Family comes first thus I'll have to skip the YCCians outing. (not that you guys aren't family either) Lately, the guys on the MIX breakfast, battle of the sexes are one thing.... LOUSY!!! Gosh!! No wonder they lost the lead so easily! Oh well, respect them for getting up early to participate though. No fair!! Yu San has Baskin Robbin!!! Lilian, DON'T YOU dare start with your ice cream either!! All I'm stuck with is Nestle! Nevermind!! For Christmas, I'll get myself a nice tub of ice cream!!!! Last note: Hope the YCCians have fun at Taju's outing!!
Well, it's confirmed.... my relatives are coming down from Seremban on Saturday. Thus I will not be able to go for the YCCian outing. Oh well, all the best people! Just have fun and bang each other silly. Bitten by the lazy bug today. Didn't want to do anything productive. But I forced myself to make a couple more cover letters to be sent tomorrow via the post. I need to force myself to go down to the blasted post office tomorrow then.... sigh.... no motivational factors there.... no ice cream either....... Which brings me to the next wail, I WANNA ICEEEEEEE CREEEEEAAAAAMMMM. Must get..... a cone somehow tomorrow.... *ahem!* Now, I'm more relaxed heheh... just had a lack of icecream for a long while now. No one bribed me with ice cream either. Gone are the days when I am bribed.... My brother and I had a slight disagreement about what happened in today's Heaven Sword Dragon Sabre show. He says that the stupid girl's master (see yesterday's blog about stupid girl) jumpped off the pagoda by herself. I say the two guys threw her off (to save her because the pagoda was burning). Grrr...... I'm right!! I know I'm right!! She wanted to die, yes, but she wanted to take that scarred man with her! No just splat if she could help it!! Discovery of the day: My CD player downstairs kaput!! Couldn't listen to CD!! So my only CD player is my computer... bleh.... oh well, the radio still works. Went to college today again. Had a loooong CS session with Wan San(early), Chuen Ian, James, Phang and Yu San(later). Also joined by Alex. Today I played as Nife and my killer nick, Kaoru Kamiya. Which actually worked in a way. I was playing quite well for my recent dip, especially at the later stages of the round where I catch up with the rest of the pack. But when I switched PCs someone else used my nick (Nife) and added a K in front of it!! I showed him!!! Knifed the bugger properly. But then..... JAMES managed to knife me!! I had no more life left and he slashed me!! *sob* *sob* I'll get him for that! Kaoru is useful for fending off vamps though... hehehe Nothing else interesting happened today though that I would like to share.... OH! OH!! Got my allowance!! And the best part is, I still have leftovers from last month!! Muahahahahah
Woo hoo!! Woo hoo! WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Anyway, sent brother to college for his mock exams so I dropped by to visit college. Met Yu San, Hani, Samantha and James. Played CS as usual after Hani left for the practice. Dang..... I gotto get my CS into gear. I'm getting from bad to worse!! What happened to me? Oh well.... maybe I'll give it up one day. Apparently my grandma thinks that turning 21 is such a big deal. So either we are going to Seremban or Vice versa. Thus I am not allowed to do much during the weekend. Supposed to keep it free. To the YCCians, sorry TJ!! Can't make it this weekend. Stuck at home. To all October babes: Happy B'day! On the home front, they stopped showing Stargate! *sniff* It was fun seeing Richard Dean Anderson play the big army guy with no brains. Gee.......talking about brains, my brain feels funny.... better lie down and rest soon.......
New month, new start! Very semangated now. Did a whole bunch of cover letters today and will hope to send out batch no. 3 tomorrow at the post office. Maybe I'll squeeze another letter from the ads tomorrow. ALSO, WILL give a couple of calls to URGENT ads. Reading emails now..... JEAN!! Don't give reminders!!! Oh no..... I'll have to prepare my thick hide for another major shelling...... Went to Atria today. My older brother wanted to buy Z:Steel Soldiers. But the game isn't on sale yet. Hahah..serves him right for wanting to buy new games before finishing what's on the pc right now. Anyway, I saw the FFX VCDs that Nina was crazy about. There are 2 SETS of it!! Part 1 and Part 2!! Totalling 5 CDS!!! The game must be huge to have that many cinematics!! I WANT TO PLAY THE DARN GAME!! After that, I watched Friends and the Premier of the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command..... only to remember that Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre 2000 was on!! And that was halfway through the show! Whoopsies....missed the fight.....oh jeeepers.
It is gonna be a new month!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? I have bummed for the WHOLE month of September!! I guess I enjoyed it (to some extent) but oh well, it isn't the longest holiday I've spent. Hawaii had nice long summer holidays........ Apparently my younger brother will start his mock exams next week. So my mom assigned me to chauffeur(is this how it's spelt?) duties for the week. The plus point, excuse to be out of the house :) Watched Buffy today. Wow! Super Buffy to the rescue! Can stop bullets and shells too!! Somebody's magic is strong :). But then Spike was kinda funny too. Jumping from one side to another. But mostly because he couldn't hurt humans so he had to kill demons. However, the group togetherness of Buffy and her friends was kinda sweet. IN THE NEWS: In arcanum, my character got blown up. Dargent was trying to get past a bunch of crates blocking his path. He lit a bunch of dynamites and ran for cover. Only to return to the site of the dynamites asking "did I do it right?" Famous last words for an impatient hero. Anyway, to Hani. I hope you recover quick. |
