10.45pm

I got back around 9.30 pm today.... man.....that was a long marathon of thinking.

At the training, I and two other non-employees of the company joined 10 other employees for a training session that was based on a case study. I'll explain the case study in a while but first I would like to say that although the company employees were all young (oldest = 35) I was absolutely the youngest person there, as well as the most inexperienced bloke in the entire place. Even the two other people (guy and girl) were experienced at what they do. One is a IT sales executive (jobless) and the other a working woman also in sales and HR (more than 10 years experience). For once, I didn't feel old at all.....that's probably a good thing.

But the case study we were doing was so much like a college assignment that is due tomorrow. The stress, the planning and the non-stop discussions.......whew!! It has been so long I'm totally not used to it anymore.....didn't help that I had a numbness in my head for the entire day. Anyway, we were split into groups, I am put into a group of 5, the largest number but my inexperience would even that out anyways. We are supposed to plan and present a video conference system for an imaginary hospital. But unlike most case studies we did in school, not all the information is given on paper. We are supposed to ask the three make believe clients questions (one technical, one finance and one operations) the catch is.....they don't come by all the time, so when they showed up, fire away with questions.

My group seems to know what they are talking about since they do know their product after all. As for me, listen in, ask questions, give suggestions.... but I don't think I contributed a lot..... damn..... I am so lost when they start asking if they should use a PX-126.... oh well......

Basically, each group is supposed to have a technical. a finance, a sales and a marketing person. Since I'm the extra, I volunteered to do the intro and the conclusion for tomorrow's presentation. What's more..... I am doing the Powerpoint slides too. Heheh.... at least I can do something. But they don't seem to have anything but Paint and PowerPoint for me to play around with......how boring.... I would have loved to use director or photoshop.

Oh yes, I think the cash that would be given is only RM350, but will double if the group wins after tomorrow's presentation. Geee... I probably won't know the result tomorrow but I think I'll get one of my new aquantances to SMS me or something :). I also don't know whether this will end up to be a job opportunity or not...... keeping fingers crossed.

Blerg.......till tomorrow...... the presentation with real people asking questions like pros... please don't shoot the person that doesn't know a rock from grass!!!

Another day at home......whoopee?? Hahaha.... in a way today's better than earlier this week. My dad and mom took leave......but they both went out the entire day!! Hahahah. Home alone, boleh watch VCD, TV and play computer. Senan also went out with GF to an aussie education fair or sorts.

Cindy, I wanted to take you to PIKOM fair this Sunday, but something came up this evening. This applys to another appointment I made with Yu San and Tan, can't play badminton tomorrow either. That's the part I don't like........ now for the reason.

I was called for a training session this weekend. Yup, Saturday AND Sunday from 9-6. The company was one which I went for interview before but they were looking for a Unix specialist. So I was very sure that I koyak that one. But they callup up this evening (very last minute) after thinking about it and getting over the shock of such short notice I called them up and confirmed that I would be going for it (thus cancelling all weekend plans). Here's the good part....... I'm getting paid....... RM700!!! 350 a day!! hahaha making more money than Cindy in two days than she does in a week!! heheheh.

Gee..... I don't know what else to put.......

Oh yes, I'm sorry I reminded Yu San to give me my "just desserts". Now I have to reopen the hole I dug. Now, where's my shovel?

Hey, I'm still alive!!! Hahahah!! Yu San read my blog and has not yet endevoured nor decided to turn me into compose. Thanks!! You're the best!

Well, as usual, Terence woke me up early to get me to send him to the LRT station....blerg ... wantch to sleep (as lilian would say). Oh well, this would help me break my extended sleeping when there's nothing to do. However, I got to actually put in some time into my new game, wizardry 8. Heheheh.... a Rabid rat turned my Samurai temporarily insane.... his laugh! It was soooo insane!!!

But then dad on leave and asked me to do something productive before going out. Sigh... mop floor..... oh well, that isn't so bad..... my dad's planning something bigger for me.... I would believe painting the house will soon be my assignment. Forced labour? hahaha

Senan got sounded for being lazy today though.....well, he is lazy, but normally he gets away with it, he deserves it in a way. He was supposed to find out which train to take to get to some talk, but he didn't do it yet. Oh well, small thing actually.

Today went to college to meet Ian, Phang, James and Yu San. Yes the order of the names is order I met them. I arrived at Subang and went to the bank to bank in my cheque.... geee, I get so lost trying to bank it in!!! Hahaha, I never actually banked in a cheque before..... eeeeeeeeeeeeeee.........malunya!! Oh well, it was over in 10 minutes :) so I called Ian and he was looking for a lecturer. So I went to SAO and had a nice chat with Ms Chang until he showed up about 35 minutes later. Then we called Phang....the fella just got up or something, apparently he slept at 6am. So we waited for an hour while chatting with Ms Chang and Mei Ching. Phang arrived and we went to Shades for lunch. While waiting for James of course, who came sometime in the middle of lunch. Then we went to Silver Surfer to play CS.

Yu San joined us after her exams. Hahah..... didn't play well except for one map. Sheesh, I'm losing it........played badly too. Sniff!! I can't play anymore!!! WAILLLLLLL I used to play well consistently somemore!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

For Yu San and Samantha-> Welcome to the Ex-Intian Club!!

Dang, my computer hung when I finished typing my blog, so even my notepad wasn't saved the trouble. Oh well.... at least I relogged on to the internet quite easily.

I found out what was wrong with the handphone I'm using. I couldn't send SMSes. So after meddling around with the phone I found the problem. The SMS center was set to a Maxis center, so after I switched it back to Celcom, I finally could send SMSes.

Today was a very dull day for me. Why? Because my dad took leave and so he hogs the TV watching movies on Astro and the news. Senan was also practically using the PC most of the time. He was being forced to look for some online forms for scholarships to Aussie Universities. Forced because he never took the time to do it, so my dad got down to business. Sigh... but the lull was temporarily distruped by Yu San's SMSes and an eventual phone call. Thanks a lot I really needed that :).

But then today I went out to get a new computer game. Wizardry 8!!! The eight installment of yet another classic computer game. I only played Wizardry : Bane of the Cosmic Forge (never actually finished that game because I got stuck...didn't know where to go anymore.

But so far I find the game fun. It's an RPG game where you control a party of six characters you create. One unique thing is that you can play several oriental classes of characters. That would be the Samurai, Ninja and Monk. Samurai fun...... fast, deadly and.....well to me, cool!! But for now, the most amusing character I have is Hilda, my Dracon Valkarie (put human and dragon together and you get a Dracon, wierd huh?), she hovers on the brink of insanity and shouts all sorts of battle cries!! Hahaha..... it's hard to imagine a berserk valkarie.

To Tariq-> I hope you find your wallet

To Nina-> I'll pick up the CD sometime this weekend?

To Cindy-> I found the new address of anipike.com, apparently now it is being shared with America Cancer association. Here's the site add: http://www.anime.jyu.fi/~anipike

The article for blogs came out! Featuring our very own : Nina, Jean, Yu San and Hani! For further reading, please refer to today's Star Newspaper, Intech pullout.

The funniest thing about the article was that they were supposed to be annoymous.... gee... hahhaha..... I am surely going to get whacked for this, but I can't resist it..... So.... Yu San...... that's not your real name?? Muahahaha!!! (laughs all the way while digging a six foot grave for myself, with a headstone prepared, saying "He saw, he laughed, he got beaten to a pulp). So how does it feel to have published blogs?? The paper printed screen shots of the blogs too, all except Hani's.... awww...poor Hani :). The best thing is, I know which page they took the screenshots from!!!

Phooey..... I am still waiting for the technician to call..... bugger him.... I'll bug them more on Thursday because tomorrow's the last day for him to call before I lose my patience. What's more? I finished one round of Civilisation 3 and now I am going.....geee...do I want to play it somemore....... I'm very reluctant to play it again. So for me, no replayability value.

Dope!!! Fabian!!!! You forgot to go to the bank today!!! Bad Fabian!! Bad bad Fabian!!

Senan went to see another dentist today with my mom accompanying him. Yup, his jaw is misaligned to such an extent that when he opens and shuts his jaw, it doesn't do so properly. It pivots horizontally a little which is causing him pain now. So the solution is to wear some sort of retainer first......if that doesn't work, surgery would be required.

I hate dentists.....I visit them more often than I see doctors.

Whew!! I can avoid a pounding if Yu San decides not to read this entry due to her exams...... but I don't think I'll be that lucky!!

Terence my older brother woke me up at 7.30 today...... I was sooooo not in the mood to wake up. But dragged my arse out of bed to send him to the LRT station, came back and plopped back into slumberland...... sort of.... it was sort of a half consious state. Sigh..... I was not prepared to wake up at all.

But then, I eventually woke up (around 10.15) because I know I have to get ready to pick Cindy up from her house. Of course I had to do a couple of things before I can get out of the house. However, my younger brother, Senan decided to pull a surprise.... "Fabian, going out issit? Send me to Section 17 (gf house)". Fortunately I still had time to spare and I got to Cindy's house on time.

Went to Pyramid to wait for Chee Hou at MPH. Went there, went inside to browse around while waiting for Chee Hou. Guess what the smart fella did? While we were browsing, the fella came in, saw us, but didn't tell us he arrived, instead he did his own browsing!! Then I got Cindy to call him and heard a handphone ringing a few rows behind us, and out popped the doink! Grrrr..... I felt like taking the thickest computer book there and bashing him on the head.

After waiting for Chee Hou to make a decision where to eat (his birthday, his choice.....simple as that) we ended up at BB Thai.... maybe it's BBQ Thai...but I didn't see any Q's. While Cindy and Chee Hou ordered roast chicken, I got a lamb chop. Rather bony that lamb :). But then Chee Hou insisted that he pay for the meals..... even though we insisted on paying.....oh well, thank you Chee Hou!

After that, we went down to Sega City to play a few rounds of Daytona... never had a round where all three of us played together.....because 1st-> Chee Hou kept feeding the machine tokens even though it didn't seem to be working (no sound). 2nd-> Cindy thought her machine was spoilt because to her it didn't make any noise when a coin is inserted...... BUT I heard it...... sigh....... won both times too :) yay!!

After that, wanted to play a little pool, but the pool place outside of pyramid was closed.... so we ventured back into Pyramid to TGV to see if there was any movies we could watch at an appropriate time... (take note, Cindy meeting Alan at 5....so cannot kacau the timing). Didn't find any suitable timed shows that we have not watched. Thus ended up lepaking in Video Ezy (which is currently having a sale) and Gift Land. Gift Land is dying....that can be seen alright. They don't restock, but whatever's left is not nice either..... thus now.... they HAVE NOTHING that interests most people.

Went to Gloria Jeans for coffee and basically chit chat the remaining hours away. Surprisingly that did the trick! We chatted for a long long time even until the time Alan drove by the doorstep.

Well, then I left Pyramid back for home.

Oh yes.... I bought some Famous Amos cookies for my parents. They like it very much..... but my mom says it's too sweet for her. I bought chocolate chip cookies for them. In order for them to keep the cookies, it's existence must be kept a secret from my brothers....or else..... no more!!

Sigh........ tonight......no one is online...... *sniffle*........boringnya.........

11.55pm

Oh dear..... short entry coming out! I'm running out of time!!

Today I woke up pretty late..... why? Erm..... I'm not too sure. But then all the aches in my arms and shoulders disappeared so hurray!! Good recovery!! Woo hoo!!

Anyway I met Daniel and Sandra at the neighbouring cybercafe. Played for about 2 hours with them. Those two have definately gotten better since the last time we played. True, I wasn't playing very well...... (at least I got an eye for an eye). Sandra seemed to favour rifle weapons now. Especially the carbine and the Commando. She plays well enough..... but I don't think she'll draw attention like Yu San does....... hahah no offense Sandra but Yu San gets people's attention because she kills them very often.

But then, Daniel loves to use snipers. Although he is quite good at it.......he camps and hides a lot!!! Sandra also follows when she's hurt badly/last one left!! Geeeeeez!!! Next time, I will hunt you guys down......when I find my skill back...... tis the season not to kill....falalalalalalalalala.

Oh yes......sorry Thaju!!! I didn't know your name was spelt that way!! I normally hear them call you Thaju, but they always write TJ.....so I didn't know!! Mohon Ampun!!!

Okay, tomorrow going out with Cindy and Chee Hou.... apparently it's chee hou's bday..... so happy bday chee hou!!
