A day spent in KL. Ran around like nothing to do I guess.... hahah... did a lot of window
shopping. But here's my report on my "spree" in KL. Tried really really hard to look in every nook
and cranny to find Sakura Wars stuff. Oh yeah... places I struck : KLCC, Sungai Wang and
Lot 10. On Sakura Wars..... I went home empty handed. Why? Well..... Sigh.... I think after a few months of working I'll order it online. Easier!! Hahah... and
I have to get my own credit card for this....... unless money order also can.... *plans next
move* But fear not!! I did not go home empty handed!! I picked up You're Under Arrest, the Movie!!
Yay!!! Good find :) Happy happy happy. Heheh..... I accidently found Tower Records too..... wasn't really looking for anything
at KL Plaza. Until jalan jalan and sees... Tower Records. (me: Ohhhh, so here it is!) Checked out the prices for PS2 and it's components too. Hmmm.....judging from the cost I
will need to put out, I guess it's possible for me to obtain the target of buying around
the month of October. Yay!! Woo hoo!! and Yippee! *reads Lilian's email* *BIG sweatdrops* 6 times????? *see's Hani's quiz* Errmmm...... what music star I'll be?? I don't think I should take
this test...... it's all girls..... Gatekeepers has ended!! Sniff!! Another good anime gone.... oh well, not hooked on to it.
I think I better maintain only one craze at a time..... was very tempted to buy the whole
gatekeepers series at Sungai Wang today. The guy even offered to cut price for me.... sigh..
tak nak lar...... not working YET, so don't want to take anything for granted. So..... did I fail my otaku test?
Typing this blog earlier than usual. Got time mar..... besides, I'm sure Senan would want
to play Xenogears after the 8 o'clock show is over. So I'll make use of this time kan? But then today didn't do much at all. I guess that happens when you don't set foot out of
the house and being left unsupervised for most of the day. Spent most of the hours in front
of the PC playing Xenogears. Heheh... logged in about 14 hours into that game already. Eeeks
I should slow down or else I'll finish the game lickedy-quick. Now what can I blab about today then? Errrmmm..... *5 mins later* Geee..... my room's a mess...... guess I'll have to clean up once Senan comes up. Today, the newspaper had a review of the FFX game. Hehehe..... a good review, tells the
good and the bad. But the bad is a itty bitty thing.... so it's still part of my Wishlist
for the next coming months. I wonder if I can play Legend of the Dragoon on my PC.... hmmm..... maybe I'll snoop around
the internet and look for info on that. Don't underestimate the net.... there's info on everything,
providing you can find it of course. Come to think of it..... going down to KL will be rather lonely..... sigh.... oh well, I
doubt if anyone wants to teman me hopping shop to shop with hardly the intention to buy
anything (except for a certain type of merchandise). Would have loved to have Cindy around
to show me where everything is, Lilian too, since they know all the places to go. Me? Well,
cuba cuba only, recalling from memory where those two have raved about in the past. Too bad
both of them are busy. Why not take buses? Well..... like Natsumi has bad luck with cars, I have bad luck with
buses. Besides, I am very likely to miss bus stops because I don't know where to get off
either. Heheh.... *big sweatdrops* I am sooooooo not a KL person. Now..... Sakura Wars info!! Each character has a different theme song. So I made a comparison: In reference to the comment on the Winamp Skin I sent to Yu San- named Sakura Blossoms.
Nice leh!!! Better than my Kaoru skin which I loved so much. But Sakura Wars winamp skins
not easy to find. To date, I only found two. Both Sakura, but the other one isn't so good,
colour scheme background white, foreground light pink..... bad match. Ohhh..... Tama-neko (issit correct spelling?) very funny cat!! I wished my cats were like
that. Sigh... dream on Fabian...
Announcement: I will start work at Standard Chartered from Monday onwards. Good news huh?
I am being placed in Authorization, meaning I will get calls from merchants asking for
authorisation codes for transactions. Sounds simple right? Anyway, I'm taking this as a temporary
thing. Will job hop from there. Anyway, I'll get more details about the job on Monday. So
don't ask how much I'm getting!! Today went to Lilian's house to pick up something for Cheng's sister. While I was there,
I took a short look at the ground floor of her new house. Nice... and then her mom started
chatting with me.... heheh.... oops.... I think the "good boy" image I have has gotten Lilian
into a little hot soup......eeps!! I'm sorry!!! To Subang Jaya I went. Picked up Ian, who wanted to watch Black Hawk Down. Yup, 2nd time
watching it. Hahah.... oh well.... But then..... after picking him up, on his road, my car got hit by a Taxi!! The bugger
reversed out of a driveway, hitting my car's side (towards the rear). Take note, I was still
moving forwards too. Best part is...... the nincompoop actually made a run for it. Well, I
have his registration number!! And I know he lives on that road!! HAH!! Now.....should I make
a police report?? Daddy hasn't said anything about it..... But for now... another battle scar
for BDC 9001. Sigh........ poor car..... although it was meant for us "young ones" to bust up, but still!!
I never had a car hit me before! Well...... Ko Fen's one doesn't count. Oh Cindy!! Found the song from Xenogears!! Broken Mirror!!! Hahahah.... not often is there
an English song to a Japanese game :) More on PS games. FFX english version out!!! I wannnnttt!! Ermm...... tmr have to stay home..... house work.... sigh....... To Jean: Mad woman -> (cantonese)= Dien Poh!!
*Large Sweatdrops* Hahaha..... anyway I'll be dropping by her house to pick up some stuff. Also going to
teman that poor Chuen Ian who has been asking me to go by Subang for a while now. Oh well,
drop off Cheng's stuff while I'm at it... Okay.....time to recount this day..... Went to pick up my IC and my brother's IC in the morning. First in line!! Yay!! No wait!
Kononnya of course.... first, system not booted up yet.....so wait..... then found out, my
dear brother...... forgot to bring his receipt!! This is the student that got Top Awards in
Monash Foundation you know.... sigh...... But wait!! Then while processing my IC, they said
that the system is malfunctioning..... asked me to call later and return later...... grrrr. Balik rumah, Senan turned the room upside down looking for the receipt, no luck for him...
as for me? Well, gave a phone call to a boss of this small broadcasting company, got an interview
set at 3.30 today at Sri Hartamas.... if you recall, it's the same person who FFKed me before.
But first..... called the IC place again..... yup, went to collect it about 2 pm. However,
due to the line, I only got it about an hour later..... I hate queues!!! Then for the 3rd time in the day.....forced to wait again.... the guy whom I rushed for the
interview (thus missing my lunch) wasn't there!! Asked me to wait...... for another 40 mins I waited
until he finally arrived (my dad says that's normal for him, becuz had previous business dealings
with him before). Sigh.... the result of the interview? They'll get back to me after Chinese
New Year. Then went to Bandar Utama for my very very late lunch. But the sky really looked dark and
the wind was really really strong. Gave Lilian a call after my lunch while walking to the car
was fun to talk to her.... however I think it's rather expensive that I did it on the handphone.
Eeps....daddy will really skin me next month. To Cindy: Awwww...... I hope you feel better. Well, I'm waiting to download a song called
Emotion. Could it be the one? Hahah..... Xenogears quite fun leh..... too bad 2 CDs only. I
would guess that will mean it is a rather short game. To Hani: Your boy taking you everywhere? My my, he seems to be tireless doesn't he? What
to do? Honey got banyak sugar.... To Jean: Maybe when Boon calls your house she should ask for "the crazy woman" of the house. heheh.... *takes cover!!* Natsumi terlampau!!! Everything also can throw at people!! Hhahaha...... if I were the bad
guys, I would also run away from her!! But today's Gatekeepers..... Ruriko got captured!!
Oh no.... my namesake for CS got captured..... eeps?? Darn..... I can't seem to squeeze in any time to go KL hopping...... Cindy!! This is all
your fault!! HAhahah....
Went out with my friend Chee Onn today. Went to Atria to get his software, Visual Studio. Net
While I went there to get a PS game.... Xenogears!! hahah... something fun to play.... What
can I say? I'm getting bored at home sometimes. Cindy!! What is the name of the Xenogears theme song!! I recognise it from your mp3 collection!!
But I tak tahu the nama...... want to download for fun. Sakura Wars still rule though... all
of them can sing :) heheh......but having trouble hunting down Kohran's Theme song.... Hahah...... I noticed the PC game market isn't very active anymore.... not many new games
that are interesting have popped up lately. Maybe that game Yu San is playing is nice....
but then I have yet to get my hands on it (NO MENTION OF PAWS!!). PS games are sometimes nice
I guess...... like Cindy I prefer the loooong RPG games.... Beat em ups...... errrr..... I can
contend for the worst fighter award no matter how hard I try to win. Evidence is there!! Even
Yu San kicks my arse!! Oh yeah....played CS too. Hahaha..... Nife kicked arse!! Tiba tiba he become good again.
Got someone on the opposite team always asking me to join them..... hahaha..... bangganya... Tmr, going to PJ new town to get my IC......and renew my brother's driver's license...sheesh.
Supposed to call my father's friend too..... sigh.....

Sorry about yesterday, didn't blog because I was just too tired when I got back. Plopped
into bed and said nighty night to the world. Yesterday, I went out with Yu San and Lilian in conjunction with Lilian's birthday.
It was very nice of her to take time of her busy schedule to hang out with us. We went to
Summit. Had lunch at Spices. And after that, watched Lord of the Rings.... yup... she wanted
to watch it. As the birthday girl I obliged. For the two girls, it was Legolas galore. For me
..... well.... I still say that it's a good movie... but my ass did not stop suffering after
the movie. Hahahha...... sat through another movie.... so in total, spent 5 and a half hours
sitting in cinema halls.... After the movie, more people were about to arrive so we hung out around GSC entrance and
at the Arcade. Let's see.... Phang, Chuen Ian, Adam, Benjy, Eugene, Cindy and Joa Quim joined
us there. At the arcade, played a new game.....Silent Scope! You play a sniper!! hahah...
fun!! Got first place on my first try......... YOSH!!! Played other games too.... lost to
Lilian in Daytona.... my excuse?? No 1st and 3rd gear!! Bah!!! One day...... rematch!!! Oh
yeah.... fought with Benjy in some wierd game.... ahhaha..... I lost..... But when Cindy
and Joa Quim played that game.... Cindy looked like she wasn't trying.... one hand only!! Apalah
that girl!! Had dinner at A&W. While some of them ta paoed 1901. I wished I ta paued too....but then
I'll still get hungry. Fortunately I was too tired later to be hungry. Yu San's boy and Radin
had dinner at Spices instead. HAhah... Yu San's boy..... never really used that phrase on her
before. After that, Chuen Ian, Adam, Benjy and Eugene left. While the rest of us watched Black
Hawk Down. It was an interesting movie. If you love war movies, this has tonnes of action!
Check out the guns too!! Chunted.... miniguns kick ass!! But then... I failed to recognise
Orlando.... hahah...... guess he's too much an elf in my mind.... Parted ways with YS, Tan and Radin after that, had to send the rest to their respective
drop off zones. Oh yes.... Lilian and Cindy wasted no time in banging me with old memories with Joa Quim....
Well... it wasn't only me...... hahah listened in to their stories..... they were MEAN MEAN
children!!! hahahah...... but they're still very nice........ :) Today....... Yu San almost gave me a heart attack!! Enough said...... I'm in the recovery
room...... trying to get my heart pumping at a normal rate......(CS related injury) |
