Boy, today had so much more activity than yesterday! Alright.... my morning nothing much happened, except done more closet clearing. Threw away
a bundle of stuff and rearranged my messy filing system. Heheh..... lots of dust too.... *ah
chiew!!* Having sinus isn't good for housekeeping. After lunch, went to yam char with Jun Min. Yes she's back......and the best part is, she's
flying off on Monday. I only knew she was in Malaysia yesterday! Went to SS2 Coffee bean after
she picked something up from the manga/anime shop nearby. Some sort of doll.... tak tahu
what the heck it's called. So happily chatting away when I had to cut the meeting short and
send Jun Min home. Why? My dad called for help. He and my mom went looking for floor tiles
(yes lilian, it's my family's turn to look for tiles) in Subang Jaya. But he took the spare
car key and it didn't have the steering lock key. So I had to take it from the house and
bring it to them. Oh well......... got bargaining chip from this :) Went home and I actually managed to get my two brothers out of the house! I asked Terence
whether he wanted to play CS, Senan mentioned Aliens vs Predator, so I changed the game and
both of them came along!! Hahah......two hours of blasting aliens and predators..... I played
the marine because my brothers are scared of my CS skills. Although it was the first time
playing, I managed to adapt quickly and topped the matches after 2 matches. Woo hoo! But I
didn't know how to change the name and change race...... whoops...... maybe next time I play
predator and aliens. The aliens can climb walls!!! So cheating!! Climb up and go behind me pula!
Lucky I got jumping around like rabbit skills. Senan was not happy when I killed his attacking
alien at close range!! Hehehhe..... I tried to knife the alien once, but failed :P In the evening went to a church group open house in one of the big bunglows in Damansara
Jaya. Quite a number of people attended. What's more? I wasn't lonely this time! I met 6 of
my high school friends there!! Whooopeeeee!! All back from Austrailia having holidays. None
graduated yet.... oh well.... free dinner, carolling and exchange of pressies. Also celebrated
the priest's birthday. It was today too! Got cake and all that. All my church's priest came
today. So I logged on late and I can't blog as long as I wanted to. Oh well, tmr going out :) hahah
*V!* Darn...... I'm going anime'ish......
Car's fixed!! Yay!! No more worries about driving at night...... worries involving getting
pulled over by the police. My friend Chee Onn was supposed to call me today so that we could go out to play some
multiplayer games..... he said so last night...... Guess what?? No calls today..... all psyked
up and nowhere to go. Damn...... I really wanted to play CS or try Aliens vs. Predator 2.
Instead, stayed at home and rot more and more. Oh yes, the Gateway engineer came over today to replace my motherboard. So I have a new
motherboard!! Unfortunately I think that my Microsoft mouse has something wrong.... it'll
work for a while only.... maybe there's a wiring problem in the mouse that damaged the port
last time. So I will not use that mouse but use the serial mouse for a while until I get
another PS/2 mouse. I also got an Air Mail today. I got a christmas card from Cheng and Lilian. Enclosed was
also an autumn leaf. Woah.... air mail takes a few weeks to reach here now? Last year it came
in under a week. Heheh.... I almost didn't identify that Cheng sent it.... I can't recognise
her signature............ I'm very bad ain't I? Tribute to Cindy's Car: To it's first accident! Be glad it wasn't like what my brother
did to my car!! Sigh...... I'm getting worked up pretty easily...... must be the boredom setting in.....
must.......maintain.......control........ *ZAP!!* (another brain down the tubes)
Stayed home today...... didn't even have sunlight touch my skin today. Not to mention that
it was cloudy whenever I stepped out to do stuff (take back clothes). A dark day it was. My dad and mom still on leave, but they went out today so I was left
at home. Senan took my car out so I had no car either. My dad brought back a couple of VCDs
a few days ago, but they were those type of movies that followed other movies. eg. Blade 2.
So didn't even bother watching those. However, Senan annoyed me today. He called the house and asked me why the backlights weren't
on. I told him that it hasn't been serviced yet and he asked me......"so what do I do? Kick it?"
Geee.....sarcasm from someone who doesn't speak right on the phone? So I passed the phone
to my dad so that I can go off and not blow my top. Sometimes brothers can be so rude!! Anyhow, I need to talk to Ian Jon Albert about Sunday's plans......email correspondence is
too slow at the moment. Oh yes!! I remembered!! I read about PS2 and Xbox games today. Makes me want to purchase the PS2 :). But I need a TV for my own first...... CINDY!!! Are you buying a PS2??? If yes can I camp at your house from time to time?? Hahahah
Congratulations! Jocelyn Lim is going to US on Friday. After 9 semesters in INTI she finally
flies off for the final leg of her education. She and I entered INTI at the same time. Was
one of the very very few people from my high school too. Damansara Jaya students don't fancy
INTI College. This morning, Yu San and I exchanged Christmas presents. So I would like to thank her for
the thoughtful (I believe a lot of brainwaves were wasted on choosing a present) and very
NICE shirt. Even my parents said it was nice. Although it was very wierd giving a smaller
sized present compared to what she gave me, it doesn't matter! Size matters not! It is the
intention of the heart that counts! Terence on leave today, so got in some nice uninterupted sleep. But then I still had to
drive around in the afternoon. Today seemed to be "send cars to workshop day". I drove my
mom's car to the workshop for a checkup, then followed my dad to buy lunch at section 17.
Later in the evening, followed my dad to the workshop to pick up my mom's car, and to let
them check the wiring of my lights. As most of my passengers know, my dashboard lights and
back lights do not light up immediately after the lights have been turned on. After much
fidling, the mechanic still could not fix the problem and told my dad that the source of the
problem was the dim controller of the dashboard. So my car is going back to the workshop on
Friday. Oh yes, replaced the damaged remote alarm control for my car too. It's now in a new
casing which I will show off one day :).
Merry Christmas everyone!!! I just got back from Seremban so I think this will be another short entry. Kinda tired from
the journey even though I slept most of the way. Left the house at around 11am. Woke up to have breakfast (instant noodles because there wasn't much in the house). Got
my present from my parents and gave mine to my brothers. Nope, no change in tradition yet,
brothers still come up zip for me. Oh well....... I expected that. I don't really care anyway.
Also got chocolates from our insurance agent (don't ask me..... insurance agents get loads
from us anyway). Went to Seremban and managed to catch the extended family gang. Had a bit of refreshments
too. Only when the extended family left did the passing of pressies go around. As usual, most
of my relatives did not know what to get for the young men (me and my brothers) so cash was
given. All except my youngest aunt, whom gave me a tie......this time it looks proper :) My grandma got a new puppy! Her name is Cookie, she very manja dog and still so small.
Brown colour with a black muzzle. Mongrel of course lar. Seems intelligent too. However,
she likes to bite things so I expect her to start chewing on shoes in a few months. Dinner was held in the house. It's normal because we always have a family dinner on Christmas
day at the house. Tradition of the Chong family. Luckily didn't get stuffed like the turkey.
Bailed out pretty quickly. Oh yeah, Lois has been SMSing me....... on my Dad's handphone!!! I better tell her my
temp number soon .......eepps!! So wierd getting her sms on my dad's phone. And refering to the lelaki tak guna thing in Yu San's blog...... I admit it...... AKU TAK
GUNA. I kalah...... I should have temaned her....... why didn't I? Me stoopid. My dog also left a pile of "gold" for us when we came back....... geeee, thanks Rex....
It's Christmas eve!! It's almost Christmas! I even forgot that it was a Monday....so I was not prepared to wake up early in the morning
to send Terence to the LRT station. However, upon my return I went back to bed..... To be woken up by my dad saying there's a phone call for me. Now I want to thank Yu San
for the nicely timed phone call. I almost overslept to the point that I wouldn't be able
to catch the anime on AXN!! THANK YOU!! Hehehe.... but tomorrow I need to wake up early
as well...... eeps! Spent most of my afternoon reading Lord of the Rings...... sigh.... the more I read, the
more I notice has changed in the movie. Sometimes I wish that I didn't pick up the book in
the first place. Gosh..... now that I think back..... I didn't do much today! Originally wanted to do a night outing today. But then after considering how many people
that would attend and the look my dad gave me yesterday, I thought that it'll be best if
I stayed put today. Although I could pull it off today because I did tell him very very
early, but I don't think that I would be able to go out during the week if I did so. Hopefully
the sacrifice will pay off. Went to church today. Mandarin mass. Not much of a choice unless my parents wanted to
wake up early to go for mass tomorrow. Going to Seremban tomorrow. Coming back after dinner.
Going to be stuffed again unless there are more people there OR they decide to have a seafood
galore. That'll be new, I can throw a tantrum if they do :). Oh yes....... my brothers....... one of them stepped on a roach yesterday (not Chuen Ian)
and yeah, it splattered it's insides. And DID NOT clean up!! Guess who cleaned up the next morning?
ME!!! I wasn't the first one to see the dead roach either!! Terence claimed to have seen it
in the morning, but so far none of them admited to stepping on it.
Lilian!!! How many email addresses do you have?? I lost track a long time ago! It's a lucky
thing that I don't keep a record in a small itty bitty address book because I would have to
cross out so many already!! Today's Sunday?? I totally lost track..... I thought it was Saturday. Oh well... at least
the morning papers quickly made me readjust my internal calendar. But here's an interesting
piece of information from today's paper. Apparently, all males suffer minor brain damage
while in the womb. Why? Well, testosterone apparently hinders growth of several nerve endings
in the brain.... in the right side of the brain. That would result in males being less emotional.
I'm sure if Hani read this she'll say her famous motto about males. Went to Pyramid in the afternoon to meet the YCCians, Choon Ling and Tan there. Although
Nina claimed that she knew when to be late and when not to, I don't think she got it right
yet. Because, today the majority arrived late (as usual). The early ones met at MPH. Then
headed off to A&W for lunch. While eating, Yu San got tickets to Monsters Inc and Nina got
her Lord of the Rings tickets. Oh yes, met Kuan May/Mary for the first time too. After lunch our group split up again. I went with Tan, Choon Ling and Yu San to Sega City.
Played Time Crisis 2 (my first time!!), Off Road Runners (i think) and the table disc thingy.
Gee, suddenly I suck at the table disc thing. Maybe it's due to my sore arm.... hahah...excuses :)
Played a wierd japanese game...... the one where there's three buttons. Tan won.....the bugger
knew the game!! Yu San and I didn't know! I watched Monsters Inc for the second time this round. Why?? I had to see the Gone to the
birds animation again!! HAhahah......it was worth it. After the movie I had to rush off though. Luckily too!! If I didn't show up on time, my dad
would have grounded me for sure!! whew!! |
