Rain, rain , rain again. heheh......rain nice.....very cooling. Although the rain was very very nice, I got really really wet when I got home from church. Oh well, served me right for running in the rain. Lalalala..... I doubt if my younger brother would have been able to use the umbrella properly anyway. Anyway, don't think I'll fall sick in any case.... too much resistance. Hahaha....nanti nanti really fall sick! Today woke up and did some chores. Just at the moment I finished them (walking dog's the last) Yu San gave a call. Lucky she got good timing!! Otherwise no one would pick up the call!! Apparently college was closed, COMPLETELY closed. So we moved up our plans an hour or so. For the first time in a week (7 days, at this rate I'll be retiring from active CSing very soon). At the beginning of the hour we played, I was actually playing very very well. And the later part, I had a slide in performance.... while Yu San got better and better instead!! Hmmm.... I'm really suspecting that her CS aura feeds off mine...... ahhahah Kidding lar!! She damn good at CS mar!! And I had freezing hands again. Then we went to my place where we popped in..... Nina's Para Para Sakura!! Hahah!! The VCD was actually staying in my house until I gave it to Nina for her birthday....so technically it came back for a visit. One of the interesting events was when I was trying to decide if the left speaker was the cantonese one or the right. Hard to decide when the show uses both Cantonese and Mandarin!! Oh yeah, Yu San had free lunch....courtesy of my parents. Don't get any wrong messages, my parents are very generous to guests (can't say about my dad's stingyness on me!!) Played Talisman too. This time with both my brothers joining in. Wild wild game.....but I'm so sure there's something fishy going on about the wanton spellcasting going on..... I played the Witch Elf which could force a reroll for battles...... of course it wasn't that effective when Yu San's your monster....that girl!! ALL THE TIME!!!! Her dice very ANTI-Fabian...... take note..... don't sit next to her....... But then I killed her!! Not once, but twice!! Although the second time was an accident :). Sweet! Hahaha....but she wasn't really playing a Warrior character.... maybe that's her weakness there. Nevermind, I shall continue to gloat!! hehehe... Actually I was on the verge of going into the dragon tower (final stage) already. Unfortunately I got cursed by a hag (lost all my followers) and then turned into a TOAD!! (lost all my items) Bah!!! My older brother won....how could that lousy Templar get in front of us?? Simple.... the spell thingy..... that's not fair!! Too bad the game is with Tan, or I would really do research this time. I'm downstairs on the old computer again. Kinda irritated with the lousy mouse that has suddenly when cookoo. Kinda tired now....brain feels hard....can't think. But got reply from my relatives in IBM and Arthur Anderson. Although my resume was passed to them, they can't encourage much because it is really bad times for them too. The company is actually on a NO HIRE position. Sigh.... at this rate..... no cannot think negative!!! Must be POSITIVE!!! Brain fizzled.....need to stop...
Another Job down the drain!! But I didn't get lost in KL no more.... instead, walked!! HAH!!! No buses!! Nyeeehhhh!! Okay..... let me tell you the reason why I am not getting the job. Qoute "You will be recruited... when you bring in the first Investor from your own contacts. They must open an account of RM20000 minimum." I don't have that sort of contacts!! Besides, how many people would want to invest such a large sum in a market where THEY manage it for you? Even my parents are so skeptical (but they always are) and if I am supposed to convince people to invest, and I don't know much about it, what am I to do?? Oh well...... so I can forget going to tomorrow's mock session..... since I won't get the job anyway. Before I forget, let me break down what was being offered in that job. Basic Salary = 2200, Basic commission = 500, Average commission due to trading = 4000 (yes 4k, 100 per lot traded, average twice a day, 5 days and 4 weeks). So could have expected...... RM6700 a month (too good to be true? maybe, I'll never know) Anyhow, it's back to the job market..... and more letters to be sent to this time, my cousin.
First order of business....... JEAN!!!! DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! *ahem!*Next issue. Reason why I asked you guys to refer to Yu San's blog: I was LAZY to type it all out. Was in the middle of typing out an email to my dad's friend. Sigh.... okay..... big blow to ego today.... would figure it happen sooner or later anyway. People!! I took the wrong bus in KL!!! BUT I did not go kampung pandan thank you! (Cindy + Lilian : Adventures of the gila girls). Sigh.....ended up in the wrong place.... at least could get myself out of it by finding the nearest train station (PWTC). Go on......laugh your hearts out. Oh....today's training. It's more like learning what the company does. Jupiter Commerce is a service company that deals with Spot Composite Index Trading. In other words, something like playing stocks, but instead of betting on stocks, you bet on the market instead. Eg. HK Hang Seng. The difference, market go down can still get money (shortselling). There are lots of differences between the two. But it is mainly targeted at people with more capital. You need at least RM20000 in an account to trade. Learnt a very simple calculation.....don't need to be a SPM student to get it anyway. And learnt how to fill out sell/buy forms. Overall, I will go for tmr's 2nd training where they'll introduce us to strategies. And at a later date, the 2nd interview....... wow...... Anyway, got another interview with ICON on Monday in Cheras. Darn.......got disconnected again........today's just not my day I guess.
Rain....... wheeeee!!! First thought of the day as I woke up. The incredible pitter patter that's music to anyone's ears... eheheh... pity all you working and studying ppl.... muahhahah. But then it's my holiday!! It's a priveledge I'll never get soon! Eventually got out of bed.... I had just about enough of disturbing dreams. Went shopping for the list of items I got over ICQ chat yesterday..... *shudder* Bought them all except for the Corntos thingy. Anyway, Hani and Yu San came late. Hani forgot to bring the board. So then we zipped off to Nina's house to play.... Talisman!! Hahaha, yu san's blog will be more comprehensive so I would not explain much. Nina, thank you for the lunch! Well, tomorrow going for Jupiter Commerce's Training program.... sigh.... I have no doubt that I would be able to cope... it's just a big waste of my education.... oh well.....first job, and still trying out other jobs!! So keeping my fingers crossed!!

Why why does this always happen to me?? I can't taste food for at least three days now.. But the funny thing is... it took me less time to find Bukit Bintang alone with a map than
with people directing me in the car right next to me. Gee.... I'm so darn (sarcasm) proud of
myself. Oh yeah.... What the heck was I doing in BB? Well, I went for a rather immediate interview
after my initial phone call in response to a particular ad in the papers. Tried for a post
as a Assistant Manager/Executive. The company is called Jupiter Commerce. A financial/economic
consultant I think. Anyway, during the interview, the guy (stiff fella... no fun) asks a lot
of questions regarding the economy of malaysia and stocks.... gee... I'm really out of my
league here.... anyway, I managed to blah my way through... They want me to go for some training first... on Wednesday and Thursday. It's a office job
no direct sales at least... and they said RM2200, no problem! And it's a 5 day week thingy!
Buttttttt........ I still prefer to go into the IT field.... WHERE ARE ALL THE IT JOBS dang it!?
Sigh.... I am very confused now, I don't know what I want... whether I should wait or go
jump out my window.
Wow.... I woke up late today.... I can't believe I slept till noon today! Considering that I went to bed slightly after 12,
that would make my sleeping time to almost half a day! However, I do remember waking up a
couple of times and falling back to sleep in an instant. Furthermore, I remember having
dreams....something which I don't usually remember. In this case, lots of dreams.... all
fragmented and totally not related. Must be due to yesterday's imbalance I guess.... But generally I feel better now compared to last night. But I still can't put my finger
on what the heck's been bothering me. My older brother decided to get a new game, since he continuously got stuck in Alone in
the Dark 4. He's been eyeing this new game for a while now. Anyone remember Z? This is
their latest installment, Z: Steel Soldiers. This game is a real-time strategy game not
unlike Dune/Red Alert/Starcraft. The story revolves around armies of robots beating the
crap out of each other. These robots, have ATTITUDE. And of course some of them portray
total imbeciles. Well, that's Z, part of the entertainment is the robots you command anyway. Exerpt from beginning intro : Problem with the game so far.... How do you change the camera angle? Oh yeah!! Yesterday, ICQ was very wierd... was nicely chatting with Yu San... then tiba
tiba all my messages can't be viewed by her. But I could still read what she sent! After the
2nd FABIAN??? I realised something was wrong. After tinkering and sending tons and tons
of messages, she sent the FABIAN??? message again. So I used ICQ to SMS her.... that
worked. It was kinda awkward SMSing her in response to her ICQ messages. Cindy, just checking with you, could you access Anipike.com lately? |
