Geez.....I read Tan's blog and I have to say something.... what the ****? Are you actually agreeing to the ruling? That's horrible!!!

First of all, INTI's reason is actually NOT the same as APITT's. APITT may tell the students it is to groom the them, but the real reason is APITT is located within a Business Building where everyone is required to wear formal. It would not look good to other businesses if their clients see student walking around in torn jeans now would they? So APITT's main reason is to abide by the building house rules.

Next, there is NO NEED to train students to dress properly. In class, it is more important to feel comfortable than look smart. What is the use of having smart dressing students in a college when they are failing left right and center? No offence, but that is the situation. Besides, it is acceptable to wear formal for our presentations. Furthermore, Subang Jaya is a very dangerous place. How is a girl to defend herself in heels? Dressed up people are more tempting targets anyway.

When it is time, people will dress properly. There is no need to 'prepare' students. All of us can do it just fine on our own thank you! Another point!! Due to INTI's unique time tables which includes breaks between classes (2 hours at least) where are these students supposed to go? Most people want to go to places like cybercafes (guys). Imagine seeing formally dressed women eating at a mamak!

If I'm not mistaken.... APITT did try a publicity stunt trying to use the formal dress code to promote the college....a stupid attempt if I may say. They show a guy "before" APITT, a guy with long hair dressed in jeans and loose T-Shirt. Then the next pic, the same guy "two weeks into APITT", a dressed gentleman. The slogan goes along the lines of "turning people into professionals".

Okay...if you want to continue I could. Just post your replies up and I'll continue the debate.

Boy...do my feet hurt!

I went shopping today in 1 Utama. In the process, I got very lousy customer service every time it was needed. In other words..... I kena bully again!!! First, I went to buy a new pair of sneakers. Sure everywhere is having a sale. So it should be simple right? I found a pair that is reasonably priced and possessed a non-eyesore look and proceeded to ask the salesgirl whether they had my size (size 8 normally) However, the salesgirl had to look everywhere to find the shoe in the first place and then proceeded to tell me : "No size". That process took around 10 minutes. Loop the process for five different shoes and end with the same result. Grrrr.....I was so impatient in the end I wanted to actually do the searching for the girl or complain about their disorganised stock system which they keep. Here's something else I found out. There are two different sizes of shoes that fit me....usually it's size 8 (US) but then now I have a size 10 (US) shoe with me....anyone have any theories about the difference?

Other than shoes I bought 2 slacks, 2 shirts, 2 singlets and five pairs of socks. Then came the next bout of lousy customer service. I had to alter the slacks I bought, the salesgirls said they would get it ready in half an hour's time. So I went walking.....and came back on time. Guess what? They didn't get it done yet!! Then another crew told me to wait another 10 minutes. Fine...wait, wait, wait.....(another 30 minutes pass) then the slacks come back. ARRRRRRR!!! Another hour wasted!!

So I'm rather testy about punctuality right now..... I reeeeeally hope that tomorrow's outing won't be a test of my patience. Cuz I am gonna blow anytime soon

When shopping, I always had to ask myself...."would my dad think this is too expensive?". The reason? Well.... I was using my credit card which is tied into my dad's account. So technically he is paying for my stuff (until I get a job of course). Let's hope he won't freak at the price I paid for the shoes.... (RM150 after discount). All the cheap ones didn't have my size :(

I can't stay in the house for too long anymore. My neighbours have been renovating their house for the past month. So every morning and afternoon there's either knocking or that darn cement mixer that emits lots of fumes. I got over the noise (even during finals) but now I have another problem. My sinus is acting up again and today I had reoccurance of my red itchy eyes which is due to the dust and smoke. It was so itchy I had to force myself not to rub my eyes by drowning my eyes in eye-mo.

Hmm.... I think I'll be getting another computer game soon.... I think I almost finished fate of the dragon already.... the story progressed to the stage where all the original heroes are mostly dead already. Thank goodness! The game was getting boring because the same tactics always win each game. Hey, Yu San, do you think I can borrow your RA2? (heheh...meant to play that). If not, Dragon Riders here I come :)

My younger brother's girlfriend is starting holidays next week!! That means I'm sending my brother to college every morning next week! Oh well, might as well use that excuse to go to college and kacau Yu San :)

Tmr's a going out day! Let's hope everything doesn't go as badly as I am feeling today..... Need my rest to make sure Moulin Rouge doesn't make me puke (due to the way they move the cameras).Dang.... I won't be blogging tmr either due to the fact that I'll be home late So this will be the last blog for the week and I will create my first archive on Sunday. Till then....

It's another normal day where one stays in the confines of one's home for the entire day! Well, except the sending brother/picking brother from LRT, walking the dog, and opening the gate for my mom.... but basically that's what I have been doing.

But then there are always things to yap about. In INTI, enrolment starts once again, and this time I do not have to be there to face the incredibly irritating process of being pushed from department to department just to get things done.....(scholarships are a pain sometimes. But then Yu San told me of the new rules concerning formal wear for final year students. I for one am opposed to the new ruling. If I were still in college, not only will I make a huge fuss (as usual, that's why they hate me there :)), I wouldn't follow the ruling at all!

Then there is the issue about Yu San's classmates all taking Information Systems Perspective, Internet Applications and Artificial Intelligence. The other option is Human Computer Interactions. My opinion is that they have definately picked the harder road to success. Here's my opinions on each subject. ISP, well.....a more theoratical subject. A useless one if you ask me. But it rates as one of the easier ones to score as it is paper base. Plus you'll get to execersice those DFD diagrams again. Internet Applications, a tough subject. Mainly due to the fact you have to learn programming in three languages in a few short weeks. Loads of assignments and projects and the exam is kinda hard because the lecturer (Ms Jaime) is not known for her easy questions (she always sets the final questions). AI? Another tough subject both on paper and project wise. Combining AI and IA is definately not a good combination. Incoming stress if you do take it together!(plus your honours you know) Then HCI, the easiest one of the semester. Exams wise, you got to use your common sense and crap a whole lot. Projectwise, well......very the simple!! I did the high fidelity prototype in one day!! (hehe......you would kill me if I told you the marks) Although, yes i admit, you have to know director to do that, so people who don't take multimedia may take a longer time, but trust me.... even in IA, you have to do some multimedia as well (especially if you are in Faizal's class). So Yu San, whoever told you that MM is needed in HCI is correct. But he failed to mention that it is used in IA as well.

My dog!!! My mom called him an ugly handsome dog. Handsome because he looks good. Ugly because he looks stupid at the same time (believe me, he isn't the brightest dog on the block). When I took him out today, he did his business in the field.......then he heard my neighbour's dog barking..........thus he ran back home and refused to go back out!! arrrrr!! I bet I'll have to clean the floor tomorrow.........waaaaaaaaah!!!

NINA!!!! I will get you for that calling me a nature boy and linking it to cows and papayas!!

One more for Nina: Don't push your luck for your bday pressie.

11.30pm

I woke up this morning more groggy than usual, which was bad because immediately I was supposed to send my brother to the LRT station. The first five minutes was a battle between my urge to sleep and my fear of hitting other cars. Heheh, I definately need to adjust my sleeping habits all over again.

Then I gave lilian's house a call.......whoopsies..... heheh (sheepish) I apparently got her into trouble with her mom.....sorry lil!!! Anyway we were going to subang to meet other friends. Proceeded to pick Yu San up before going to pick Lilian.

The lunch gang was surprisingly big considering how many friends have disappeared already. Tariq, Hani, Hani's sister, Hani's sister in-law, Yu San, Lilian, Samantha, Ming Tau, Cindy and myself were there initially. Then came along Boon and her sister! And then as usual, the tardy cockroach, Chuen Ian appeared.

Played two rounds of CS today. Before and after lunch. I envy Yu San for still being able to play well after a long long dry spell whereas I could only run around with a sniper today. All my other guns were off season again. *sigh* The worst thing is.... LILIAN KILLED ME AGAIN!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

YAY!!! Boon says she sympathises with me! Finally!! Someone who understands what I go through with the rest of the YCCians!! Whooopeee!!......and I can continue counting my lucky stars today because a lot of attention was directed towards hani's direction, thus leaving me with not so much flak. IF lilian, cindy, yu san, hani all combined forces...............*shudder*

NOOOOOOOO!!!! I just gave yu san blog ammo again!!! How do I ever get anything right???

*ahem* As I was saying, the highlight of the day was..... a particular arguement Yu San and I had in the car today. It was admittedly silly, but how often can you argue "Yes you did! No I didn't!" over and over again non stop for about ten minutes? That was hilarious!!

I also found the next game I will play after I'm done with Fate of the Dragon. Dragon Riders of Pern!!! muahahahah......DRAGONS!!! yahoooooo!!!

I look down at my keyboard and mouse and I say to myself.... my, isn't it kinda dirty? It doesn't help that my brothers have grimy hands as well. Oh well, it is sort of the time to clean up the room anyway. I organised the junk in the room and have a neat stack of books awaiting relocation to a more suitable location. Gee, that was a LOT of books I used last semester.

Well, I eventually did go to Subang Jaya to play Counter Strike with Chuen Ian and James. We decided to go to X-Gate (Ian’s idea), guess who we met there? Jesse, Phang, Eric and Sigma were playing there too! Eventually Sigma set up a private server game for us all…...4 on 4….. not too bad I guess. I impressed myself with my own sniping today, in other words, my skills in automatic weapons left me today. But it was fun taking on all four of them by myself and emerging winner J. On of the more memorable scenes was when I was in the tunnel of de_dust, killed Sigma and Jesse first, injured James when I withdrew out, killed Phang as he threw a grenade…..guess where that landed? James wasn’t too happy about that!

Oh yeah, had another surprise meet-up in X-Gate, I met my high school friend, Hui Ling, whom is better known as Claris to INTI people. She was working there at the counter when we logged off.

Now to rate another computer game which I am currently playing, Black & White. Basically, this is another ‘God’ game where well, you play God. Graphics wise, it is fantasic. Beautifully rendered in 3D….. scenery wise of course, the people don’t look too good but at least you can tell if they are male or female. It’s a rather short game if you play the single player campaign. With only 5 lands to play around in, it sort of like kills the plot. Where’s the build-up? Well, in the game, through your actions you can become a good or evil God. However, due to several ‘accidents’ I sort of became an evil God…..although my creature (the only thing you can directly control) Cow is pure through and through…..although it ate someone when I left it alone. The creature is like your representative on the mortal realm. It’s main function is to help you perform miracles (once it learns of course), help convert an opposing tribe and of course, do battle with other god’s creatures. That happens in sort of an arena where the two creatures duke it out kick-boxing style. It was fun seeing cow perform a swinging back kick to a that dog’s head. Oh, the creatures all stand on two legs. Personally, I never liked god games….. I still don’t…… In this case, the god-like attributes are lost when I can’t perform massive heaps of miracles like the one the main bad guy can do. Sure, I can throw a fireball or two before I need to get more ‘prayer power’, so why can’t I create an endless streak of fireballs like when the bad guy cursed my lands? The worst part is, in the final battle, he doesn’t rain fireballs on me anymore! Why? Because he is more ‘mundane’ like my deity……sigh……
Rating: 6.5/10

Gosh! There are so many people online tonight!! Got to attend to all the flashing buttons now! Take care all!!

Whoopsies!! I totally forgot that I had a blog to maintain and update. Talk about being forgetful. Well, I guess it's part and parcel of the disposable brain mechanism I seem to have. It's a wonder how my short term memory actually works during examinations. Oh well... life's like that.

Firstly, Happy Birthday to Yu San!! But I wished her so many times already thus I wouldn't mention it for another 364 days

Jean!!! Whaddya mean papaya boy?? I'm not a papaya!! Wait till I get my paws......erm I mean hands on you! Sooner or later you will not have your pesky bodyguards to protect you......I will.......*taken to a little corner and beaten (mentally and physically)*

Today, I went to try out a cybercafe near my house. I haven't visited them at all and they are more than a year in operation already. Had an hour of CS with them.....man did I get a whooping!! They were all so fast and so accurate! Every time if the opponents see me I'm dead in about half a second! The only way I could stand a chance was up close and personal....if they don't see me first. Gosh.......at the end of the hour, I had 52 kills and 76 deaths.

Other than that I continued playing Fate of the Dragon which is a RTS game based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It's kinda unique in the sense of the way the game is played. Firstly, your units can get 'tired' with is a pain when on a long seige against the opponents castle. Then there is the hassle of supplying the army with food and wine to keep their strenght up. Although the story is fairly accurate and all, I felt that the AI was rather dumb and unrealistic. Tell me, how can an opposing king attack my castle, gets himself killed by a rock lobber, and still manage to run his country? Rating: 6/10

Oh well, tmr I'll discuss my experience with Black and White. Another long story there......too bad I can't show a picture of Cow (my creature).

I guess this is it for today..... my time's run out....it's gonna be tuesday and this blog would not be valid. Hahaha....a friend whom we call Cockroach is so desperate to play CS he asked me to go over tmr and have a go at him. I think I will do just that......but parking in Subang Jaya is always a pain.

Till next night!!

Today is the official launching of this blog!! (commentator: This blog is made possible due to the incredible influence and pestering of...... Yu San!! *clap*clap*clap*)

Whoops.....the VIP is rather late tonight, although it is kinda customary for the VIP to make a grand entrance. Dang, the official launch will be delayed for a while from the time this blog is posted.

Well although it took quite some time to actually get this blog online, the reasons are due to several factors.
1) I only spent about 10 mins a day thinking about it
2) Was doing other stuff online instead of editing the template
3) I'm lazy
Even then I wanted to be able to put piccies in this blog, but I couldn't find a site that would allow remote hosting of content. Oh well, I'll continue looking and upgrade the blog when I finally find one.

WARNING!! I've never been known to do anything short so I am assuming that every blog entry will be usually long!!

Today I sent my dad off to the airport, he's going to Pakistan for a week. He's involved in the toxic disposal industry and went there to see if his company should set up a treatment plant there. But his next trip seems more interesting, SWEDEN!!! I wanna go!! But fat chance for me :(

Geez.....I got to remind myself to go shopping before the sale ends. Eeeep! If I don't do shopping soon, my dad will skin me alive for not taking advantage of the sales. I should make a list of things to buy too.

Well looky!! Jean got her PC back, all fixed and online capable once again..... three cheers for computer technicians (but it would be nicer if they didn't charge so much)

Hmmm..... still waiting for Yu San to officiate the blog....so I'll stop here now and wait for her to come online.
