Woo hoo!! I just watched all the FMV's for FF9 and some of the FF8 ones. I love watching it! Love the games and their stories. Among the four Final Fantasy games I played, I have mixed feelings about FF7, FF8 and FF9. FFT was nowhere near the mark. FF7 was my first FF game. It was surprisingly long and introduced me to the world of Japanese style games. Loved the FMVs for all of them. But I rate FF9's FMV to be the best. Very nice and smooth. FF8 I would say would be my favourite of the FF games so far. FF7 gave me the hatred of Chocobos because of the racing and breeding part... sheesh!! From then I hated playing Chocos! Final Fantasy Awards: Today went to Ian's house to watch Once Upon A Time in China 3. Haven't watched those shows in ages! I never knew who the romance between 13 aunt and Fei Hung was so funny. Went for lunch at Carrefourre's KFC first though. SLoooooooooowwww service... KFC has gotten from bad to worse. Remind me not to go to a crowded KFC ever again. It's really a big big pain to the customers. Geee.....I'm writing everything in reverse chronological order today...might as well continue.... Got a haircut in the morning. Figured I better go to a saloon rather than the Indian barber or risk looking like a school kid when I go for interviews. Note to self: Go to college and get my transcript... the buggers decide to get it done on the day I said I would NOT go to college because I got fed up of being asked to go back.
I was supposed to go get my haircut today, unfortunately I had to wait for my older brother to call home.... oh he did call, at 8 o'clock!! Next time I'll get my hair cut in the afternoon, not the evening. Nothing really happened today I guess, so not going to report on anything else. Hey Cindy and Lil, guess who caught me on ICQ? Aaron.... the freaky one. Apparently his nick is "M4A1 Carbine".... Friends is soooo funny!! hahahah... too bad I missed two days worth already....now got gaps :( Poor Yu San, she's having a bad internet day.... Surprise surprise! Li Lian's online!! So soon! But then she's dead tired....poor girl...
To Li Lian: Have a safe journey. May all your endevours be as successful as your Fabian Attacking Techniques. (Which means a lot!). Keep up the work girl! Compared to earlier this year, her farewell committee have definately dwindled. Not that it matters much because she knows her Fan Club would never die! But she did pull a last minute trick on Ian.... hahah.....telling him that she wasn't in KLIA at 7.15!! (Boarded at 7.30) Went to KLIA with Ian, Lois and Phang. Met Ann, Wee Heng and Hisham there too.... basically that was it. Had Burger King in KLIA since Lois was 'supposed' to go back for tuition. Didn't turn out as planned because Lil's flight was at a later schedule. Thus tuition was cancelled. Poor Lois, she would have to replace the class at another time. In other news, I finished Max Payne today! That didn't take too long. But had fun playing Matrix! There was this scene where I was entering the baddie's big skyscraper and there were two entry points, with metal detectors. Thus, Max Payne, armed with a baseball bat, a lead pipe, two barretas, one desert eagle, one Jackhammer (rapid fire shotgun), a pump action shotgun, two ingrams, one commando, one grenade launcher, molotov cocktails, grenades and a sniper rifle walks in to the building sound sirens everywhere flared to life. Three heavily armed guards rush into positions behind the pillars (like matrix) and shout "Freeze!!". Then the rest is guessable. Storywise, Max Payne is like a movie. But it isn't too good for young kids. They portray hookers, drugs, satan and gangs. It is definately one of the harder games to play, even with bullet time. But once you get a hang of it.... Payne is a real pain! Tomorrow I'm going to see an optician to have my eyes checked. Hope I don't have to wear any glasses.
LiLian is leaving!! Again!! She'll leave in less than a day from now. Back to england she goes. But then she managed to squeeze many many ounces of Fabian Bullying today.... for once, I kena more than Chuen Ian in a single outing. She came with me to college to spend what little time left in Malaysia with some priveledged few. I sponsored lunch (most of it anyway) and we had lunch during EdBoard meeting!! my my....I must say the meeting was very short compared to mine :) Missed the classroom environment though. Played CS as a farewell because Lil won't be able to play with us for a loooooong time. Yu San was playing really well...... with one exception which I would not reveal lest incredible pain be inflicted upon my being. I played okay I guess, occasional spurts of brilliance and occasional spurts of utter stupidity. Tried to get my transcript.....they asked me to come back tomorrow .........again!! Inefficient if you ask me. Gonna miss Friends for the 2nd day in a row!! nooooo!! But that is the price I'll have to pay to see Lilian off tomorrow. Yes, I am seeing her off.... what to do? Me orang cacat. Gave Yu San Diablo 2, hahaha...... now must act as the sage now :)
Is it over yet? *peers left and right* Coast looks clear, yesterday's luck seems to have gone away. Played a little Max Payne in the morning. The bullet time is very fun as my character jumps into a room going all "Chow Yun Fatt" style. Plus once the game is installed, the CD isn't needed anymore. Feature-wise, this game has loads of things new to games! It's own map generator, skinning editor and loads more. However, the game gets really laggy in about an hour and the thing takes forever to exit!! geeeez! Then met Yu San and Ian for lunch. Slow service, Shades have really been bad lately. Plus they charge extra now. Then proceeded to play CS. But before that, I guided Yu San throught the basics of Diablo 2. Uh Oh.... I think the girl's addicted to it now....whoopsies.... and after I promised not to get her addicted to any more games after the FF8 phase.....(those are my cds!) Had sort of a see saw session of CS. Not only was the temperature numbing, my hands became icicles. But still managed to do some interesting things. On a sadder note: My dad forbade me from changing channels to Friends today!! Bwaaaa!!! The monica Chandler thing is starting to get more and more funny.... But then I got my Arcanum CD replaced and will start playing it reaaaly soon PS: Gamebrains..... not a very reknowned game developer...should I even consider?
IT'S A CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU!! And I mean against me. Firstly everyone is ganging up on me again..... and the latest attack is from Jean.... grrr......she's working for a patent alright... Then I was trying to view that email..... and my hotmail wouldn't open!! ARRRRRR!!! And when it finally opens, I get a funny email instead of the proper one.... Went shopping today. Bought myself stuff in pairs of twos. Two shirts, two t-shirts, two belts, two ties.... and later I got myself two more games !! hahaha...... Arcanum and Max Payne. Unfortunately, CD 2 of Arcanum does not work so I'll have to get it changed tmr. Hotmail doesn't like me today..... Neither does ICQ........ TODAY IS FABIAN CONSPIRACY DAY!! *sob* *sob* *whimper* *whimper* *transmission terminated* Commentator: When this blog was first entered, Fabian's Internet Connection was terminated as well.... FOR REAL!!
Theme for today? Wasted mood. Why? I wanted to do loads of stuff today. Mind you all of them are really productive work. Unfortunately, other events and things keep occuring at that time and thus not allowing me to perform those tasks. For example? I wanted to iron my clothes, so I went downstairs and....found my dad doing his laundry first... so forget it. Another one, I wanted to scrub my car seats, then my dad says "take your brother driving"...... The drive was okay I guess. Normal for a person who never drives. Didn't dare to let him do any parking next to other cars though. I don't think I would survive the heart attack! Besides, it was raining, thus I couldn't exactly get out and judge for him. Played Diablo 2 as a Druid now. Kinda got boring because I'm not used to being all weak and puny all over again. So I'm thinking of getting a new game sometime tomorrow. Maybe Arcanum? Interesting game I heard. Bet Hani would recommend it heavily. But still...... I can't imagine a Beautiful Half-Ogre Female. Half-ogres are incredibly ugly looking. Oh yeah, I have a list of things to do tmr. Unfortunately I don't think I can do them all because they all refer to different places. Have car will travel... but the parking will still be a pain in the tooshie. For my view in the SEA games, Malaysia is doing quite well if I may say. True, many events are Malaysia's strong sports, but hey, even in Boxing, Malaysia got to wreck Thailand's sweep! Go Malaysia! |
