22nd December 2001
11.40pm

Heheh.... yesterday I missed out blogging because I came home at around 12.45 am. I was at Midvalley watching Lord of the Rings. I shant give my review on the movie because I sort of promised to keep my mouth shut or face the consequences.

But I can say this......did my arse feel numb!!! 3 hours!! WOW!! I ended up fidgeting a lot.

That morning, I got a welcome phone call from Yu San. She was the one who gave me the free ticket. Thanks again! So we had to arrange when I would pick it up. But after that first phone call, I was bombarded by phone calls...... 10 phone calls in 30 minutes..... whew!!

Ian called to tell me about the "dinner" plans for the day and asked me to call other people as well. But I wasn't sure whether I could attend the dinner at all.

Anyway, I didn't have any water in the house.....so I couldn't cook lunch....... and my mom didn't call home to tell me she wasn't buying lunch. Sigh...... so I ended up not eating at all. This stretched on through the entire day.

Picked up the ticket from Yu San and headed down to Lois's house. Bad traffic, but when I arrived then only they decided where to eat. Sigh..... and they had to pick Ding and Phang up too. So I left them and headed to megamall myself. Arrived to find the whole place packed with cars. Car was overheating so was desperate. Parking next to a wall at the furtherest point in the entire car park. I love going far because don't have to fight for parking space.

When I reached the cinemas they were already calling people in, so no time to get anything too. Oh well...... I got lots of stored energy somewhere.

That's how my Friday went.

Today however, I went to Nina's house. Strangely enough it was set at a wierd time. 4pm and she expected us to makan. Couldn't stomach it because had lunch and was going to have dinner later. Also there were, Yu San, Maz and sister, Ajantha, Jean, Stephanie, Choon Ling, Tan. Did I miss out anyone? Oh yes..... Jean is so far the only one to call me out as Papigya in the open..... but the effect isn't so bad anymore. I'm just waiting for the next nickname to pop out.

After that, Yu San was waiting for Tan to pick her up for the movie, so I temaned her to play CS. She's still that good!! Dang!! Heheh..... she was Iris, I was playing as Sumire at first, then switched to Maria. Then I started to snipe well.... hehe.....names do affect my play sometimes.

Agian Terence calls late.... I can't go online on my normal time because I have only one phone line. And that fella never bothers to remember any handphone numbers anyway. I feel that he should be calling earlier to actually tell us that he's not having dinner at home in the first place. Convince him to get a handphone? Hmmm... difficult arguing with an Auditor to spend money. Cindy, is your brother a cheapskate too? (other than his gf of course)

Goofed off most of the day today. Didn't do much productive. Finally finished one part of Lord of the Rings. Geee.... now I feel that what I've read would never be able to be portrayed in 2 hours. Anyway, I will be going to the movie to see how well they adapt it and keep the book away from my analysis. Of course a lot of things would be left out.

Slept too much this morning too..... oops!! After dropping my brother at the LRT station I went back to sleep....... until 11.30, overshot by 2 hours.

Oh yes, this week, the recruitment ads in the paper........virtually nothing, only 1/2 pages and nothing for what I'm qualified for. End of the year.... holidays and stuff. Expected.

Nina-> Yu San is watching on Saturday, not Friday.

Today, I logged on very late....because Terence asked to be fetched at 11.10 pm today!! Garrr..... and Senan was playing games so I can't blog earlier either.... so I guess this will be another short entry.

Went shopping today..... boy it's hard work!! Christmas shopping is very difficult because of the following reasons.
1)Deciding what to get for one person is already difficult.... let alone for many people!
2)Following budget that is quite low. Hey gimme a break, if I were filthy rich you'll all get nice stuff.
3)Finding appropriate things.
4)Carrying it everywhere.
5)Constantly seeing my 50 dollar bills being turned into 10s.
6)Keeping track on how much I spent..... ouch!! In the end, calculating total spent.......double ouch!!
Oh well......at least I have a very healthy savings account.

Oh yes......bugged by bad stomach lately.... after I eat, it has to come out. Sheesh..... I don't feel sick...

James and Ian Jon Albert......they make a bad outing organising team. They asked "can you go out for a dinner?" with no indication of time, date or place. Sheesh!! Organisers decide when and where, invitees say can come or not! All I know is.......Friday cannot......bah!

10.35pm

I woke up extra early today to catch the anime episodes that I missed yesterday. Mostly because I knew that I would not be able to watch it late in the morning because my parents would be home. Oh well, I had a promise to keep too.

Found out that my parents actually did Terence's Christmas shopping for him! Sigh.... I have such a brother.... just because he can't take leave on normal days this month doesn't mean that he couldn't have gone yesterday with my parents! I'm not annoyed, just disappointed in my older brother. I used to follow his example a lot you know, I would think that the foundation for my leanage towards introvertism stems from him. I only found out what I was missing during my form 4. Otherwise, I would have been more like him, staying home every single moment possible. Having few friends. I can't imagine how my life would have been without all my friends right now!! Especially those I met in college...... thanks guys and gals.

Also, my dad cornered me today. He asked if I was going out, I said no....... and voila!! I ended up spending most of the day helping Terence clean his room. The same things I guess, move cupboards and it's drawers out of the room, shifting bed cushions, and moving the bed. While he vacumed the floors, I wiped the cupboards and drawers. Oh yes, had to show him how to use the mop too. At least he wiped the fan...... but my mom asked him, "do you know how to wipe the fan?" I cut in with "First, you switch on the fan, then you wipe." hehehe... damn..... sometimes I seem to be a lot like Chandler. While I was at it, I cleared out all the college notes I had in those drawers, since I doubt that I would use them anymore. Whew!! A mountain full of them!! But while clearing them I technically thought back on every single period of my college life. With Mersing camp to that C++ project which Cindy and I created which indirectly kutuk a couple of our most despised lecturers. If you're not careful Tan, you could end up like them in one of your student's projects!

Halfway through today's anime from AXN, it started to rain and transmission was cut off, looks like I'll have to watch it tomorrow then.

Tomorrow I'll be out doing my christmas shopping! Hogging the care I will. Buy stuff for people I shall. Get lost in shopping complex I won't but taking forever to decide what to get I might.

Hehe...... I was right, Ian Jon Albert called me before we called him... he's planning a dinner on Friday. Hmmm.....if planned properly I would be able to make it. Because I'm watching Lord of the Rings on that night as well.

Did the emode tests sent by Hani here are the results.
My colour is Brown (same as hani) which tells that I'm a very practical and anaylitical person..... yeah big surprise......

As for the IQ test, I scored 127, which says that I'm a Precision Processor.
Like Pythagoras, I've got a very experiential way of learning and a strong mathematical mind.

Geeeee....... seems true.......

Christmas is coming soon!! In a mood for everything christmasy now. Of course you'll never catch me singing Jingle Bells, but then everything seems brighter and merrier now. Too bad my CD player downstairs sudah kaput. How to play chirstmas songs??

Today I only managed to gather a puny amount of people to go out today. Why? Well, a lot of the normal group have other plans or are out of town. At best, I think I could have gotten 9 people out today. The people I asked are as follows:
1) Cindy
2) Alan
3) Sandra
4) Daniel
5) James
6) U Jin
7) Samantha
8) Phang
9) Myself
Out of the entire list, only Samantha, Phang and I were free. However, Samantha brought along her brother. So we had an even number (at least). And U Jin's normal way of confirming whether he's coming or not is "if I'm there, I'm there". Sigh.... in other words, don't count on it. Hmmmmm...... I wonder if he told Eric that for the gig. If he did I think Eric would have killed him on the spot.

So just the four of us.... oh well..... could have been worse! I picked Sam and her brother opposite carrefour. Then we headed out to Summit. Reached there earlier than expected so we had to wait for Phang. Luckily I brought my handphone even though my parents said "don't need to take your handphone", otherwise we would have been waiting longer than necessary. Phang called at the appointed time...... yup, he was still at home. So we went to KFC to take our lunch first. Sigh...... sometimes I don't know who to call earlier to make sure they come on time or not. Currently, Chuen Ian takes the cake because we know what type of ritual he does before he actually steps out of his house. Which brings another thought...... would it be humanely possible for any wedding dinner to begin on time???

After lunch, which I believe we took about an hour because we chatted a lot, we went upstairs to play a little pool. Two games to be precise. Samantha and brother vs. Phang and I. Of course we played pool with the smaller balls and the smaller table, so Phang was very much at a disadvantage. But then, Samantha's brother is quite good at it too.... whoops. Oh yes, we also found out that there are different types of cue sticks. One for snooker (those we normally use) and another for pool. The pool one seemed to have a heavier end and it's tip isn't so sharp. Hehe... another lesson learnt. Knowledge acquired courtesy of the people working there. We lost the first game to Samantha and brother.... by about 5 balls. Dang.... Phang is really cacat without his big balls (hahaha!!). But the second game was quickly decided by Samantha's accident which put in the black ball. We played on and still Samantha's brother managed to out shoot us. However, I feel that I can make the white ball touch my target no matter the range (pool of course) but I still need to brush up on my strenght and the angle. I feel like a beginner all over again......but then when I first started, I played quite well.

After that, we headed to Subang to fulfil Samantha's long awaited wish....to play CS. I believe we played for four hours. Oops.... partially my fault because I was finally playing well in the end. At the beginning I could use mp5s and carbines well enough, but then as time went on, I was placed in the terrorist camp again. So I wanted to use the darn AK 47 and my beloved sniper (which I haven't really been using well lately). But somehow I couldn't get a hang of it. Only at the last map we played I actually scored very well. AK47 was the weapon of choice then. And I sniped a few times too. Sigh..... I'm no longer consistent. Waaaaaaaaaa!!
But then....... I knifed Samantha!!!!!!!

I sent Sam and brother to the KTM station and sent Phang back. Well, bus service during Hari Raya is quite bad....so I thought I'll do them a favour. However, I did not manage to watch the animes today. Oh well.... I'll wake up early tomorrow to catch it. (Don't worry Yu San, you'll get every single detail of Slam Dunk)

Oh yes, my parents did their Christmas shopping today.... however, I'm surprised Terence did not follow them and do shopping with them so that at least he can get advice on what to get for my relatives. I'm not giving my relatives anything yet because I don't have a stable income.

11.58pm

For those that missed yesterday's entry, Selamat Hari Raya!

My parents asked me if I wanted to go to an open house today. I've been to the person's house before, and the food catered was actually quite good. But then, I was still a bit quesy from yesterday's dinner. And I didn't want to go there alone with no one my age to talk to. Sigh...... all the old men and children there.... I was quite bored last year. Even with all that food. Is it me or does my parents purposely have few friends with kids around my age?

My brothers?? Well......they were both still asleep when my parents left the house..... phooey to them too!! Besides, those two hate spicy stuff, even dhull also they don't dare take. So no hope of dragging them along with me. My brothers........ but then I'm not too much help either, I hate fish.

Went to church today since didn't do so yesterday. Less people there. I think a lot of people balik kampung. Oh well...... I'm still in PJ.

SANDRA TAI!!! How the heck can I get a hold on you??? Where you disappear to lar!!!??? Handphone also don't want to pick up!!!
