It's been such a long time! I am finally back but very tired and in need of rest. I will post again, sometime soon I hope!

GUESS WHO? Isabela here from an Internet Café here in Bulgaria. This keyboard is awful however, I can hardly type. >.>;; I must keep this short, but I've done a lot over the past few weeks. I feel like I've been gone for a very long time... but I am not homesick yet. ^^v
This past Saturday, I attended my cousin's wedding -- a Bulgarian wedding traditionally consists of all-night dancing (the hora!), non-stop eating, and interesting rituals and customs. If I didn't have to struggle with typing on this keyboard, I'd go into more details! The best part for me, in regards to the wedding, was being able to help my cousin with the preparations... we were very much like sisters for several days.
Next week I'm going to Greece, as the city I am in right now is very close to the Greek border. My aunt has signed me up for an excursion to Italy for 8 days starting 4 August, so I'm very, very excited!
This is the first time I have written in English for many weeks... it actually seems a little funny to type now in English. But no worries, it's impossible to forget the language, right? ^^;
I must get going... ciao ciao!

I will be too busy at any other time this weekend and the days following (I have one more exam to write Wednesday), so I'm posting this now. I am on vacation from June 20 to August 24... Internet access is unlikely, so this will be my last post for a while. *sniff* ^^; Sorry for the plain layout, I won't be posting here anyway, so it doesn't matter, I guess? By the way, the picture is of Rila Monastery, in Bulgaria. Please go ahead and visit the wonderful links on the left. All the best & take care!
P.S. There, I added a background! :D P.P.S. Please note that my e-mail address has changed ! <- No spamming PLEASE! P.P.P.S.?! Exams & school over with!!

Apologies for another long entry...
I wouldn't have expected my library work to be so tiring and tedious. ^^ Hey, it's for a little money, so I shall pretend to enjoy it. I think it may be a better alternative than flipping burgers, at least for me! I have the chance to do more paid work next year, but I was also asked to work on the yearbook, which may take up a lot of time. How did I get myself involved in so many extra-curriculars? :/
I happened to find out my school timetable for next year today -- it seems so difficult that I don't know how I'll make it through the year if I even had trouble with this one. And as next year is my last year of high school, it is so important to do well! I had a problem with my timetable though and had to drop French; in its place, I took Modern Western Civilization (which sounds even more interesting!) Ehh... I snuck into the French room and stole a really old French textbook -- if I can't take the course, I'll learn it myself! :P
I did accomplish two of my missions today: I can now get my yearbook on the 20th, as long as they arrive; and I cleaned out my locker. Yay! :F
Wednesday, June 12, 2002 10:30 p.m. Edited: I keep adding something to this post for some reason, instead of just making another post...
Har har. Accounting exam finished, but not without a struggle! Remember the teacher who referred to his students as "some of yous"? Well, that's my accounting teacher! He enjoys saying and doing stupid things! For example, while I was writing my exam, he kept standing over my paper, looking at what I was writing, and then proceeded to do some _commentary_. Now, I don't know about you, but that is a little nerve-wracking, so I just stopped writing everytime he came around to stare at my paper and comment. o_O;
I asked a few of my friends today if they would like a postcard from Bulgaria... by the end of the day I had a total of 25 people ask me to send them a postcard. Oops, I didn't realize that that many would like one; I'll be coughing up a lot of money now just for postage. XD Send me an e-mail if you would like one! The more the better, LOL :)
Speaking of my trip, I'm having so much trouble packing my luggage. (I have more than enough trouble packing luggage just for small trips!) I can't figure out the most logical way of packing everything that I require without running out of space or having to use another suitcase. I already explained to my grandma that all the other suitcases she got may be what she needs to pack, but I only require one. She was a little annoyed and decided to leave all the packing of my luggage up to me. Hmmm... ^^;
I have my first day at my library job tomorrow... going to school when I actually do not have to! People always think that's odd! ^^ I'll be more than happy to help my friends with their English exams tomorrow if they go into the library to study. Is that dedication to the job or what? :D Then I'll also find the yearbook editor and demand beg to get my yearbook the day BEFORE the pick up day. And clean out my locker... And study for the Biology final on the 19th... Ah yes, sounding very much like the end of the school year. ,_,
Elyse, I've changed the link! I was wondering where you had gone! ^^ Selene has also moved her blog -- I actually like the new layout a lot, Selene! I think I'm a little sick of my own cheery, spring-ish layout. Meh...
