Weather still bitterly cold.
May have to write exams early to attend cousin's wedding in Bulgaria this June. o_O;
Gone sleepless for countless hours spent reading an Agatha Christie mystery. There are those books that are nearly impossible to put down! ^^;
Downloaded lots of music again this past hour and have seen the hard drive space dwindling away. ._.
Somehow sat through much of last night's Academy Awards!
Is very apologetic for writing such a silly entry. ^.^x

Hey! It's time for the Friday Five:

1. What is your favourite time of the year?
Late spring (May, June); late summer (around the end of August).

2. What is it about your favorite season that, well, makes it your favorite season?
There are those lovely months in May and June where the trees have pink blossoms and it's not overly hot, particularly because of calming light drizzles. I remember us students going outside and just sitting on the grass doing our school work. Oh how I <3 those days. ^^ Also, in late August, there are always the most wonderful late summer sunsets then!

3. What is your least favorite time of year? Why?
Although I love the snow in winter, more often now, I'm used to seeing a really bleak landscape without snow but with much too much wind. ;.; I often feel far less energetic and depressed during those months. Especially November.

4. Do you do anything to celebrate or recognize the changing of seasons?
When the warm weather rolls around, on goes the more scantily fashioned clothing. (This is more my friend's celebration of the warm weather, LOL.) I can't think of anything else, really. :D

5. What's your favorite thing to do outside?
You know those cafés that have the pleasant outdoor lounges? I do love sitting under an umbrella while eating a yummy meal. :3

Added a few new pictures to the snapshots & updated the side-bar. Oh là là! I have so much work to do this weekend! And I've added another task to my list: French tutoring! o_@; ... Oh, welcome back, CHARLENE!

Music: Irina Florin - Moga
Oi oi. It's been a busy couple of days. Just started the genetics unit in biology and it's been quite interesting! I went in during my lunch to look at some slides under the microscope. ^^ The only problem was that a "good" friend of mine kept standing over me (he's so tall! T_T) and turning the fine adjustment knob as soon as I had gotten the specimen in perfect focus. *pulls hair out*

The weather is so blah. I honestly cannot think of another word; it's unfortunate too because it's the first day of spring today... I've been working on a new, lighter layout, although I do rather like this one. But one often tires of something quickly, ne? ^^

There's so many other things I have on my agenda, that it's hard to keep everything straight. It's come to the time when thought must be given to future education and university choices... high school seems to be going by so fast these days... ^^;

Ah! German class was lots of fun today! So the teacher may get off-topic often, but somehow she always finds a way to tie it back to the lesson. Oh, but then she warned us of an upcoming test... covering *5* units of work! *pulls hair out again*

Music: Natalie Imbruglia - Goodbye
Such a lovely song, off Natalie Imbruglia's new album, White Lilies Island... it just sort of floats in a sea of melancholy. ^^;

My father's (very old) cell phone died out, so we went to get a new one today. Turns out that I get to have it though, while my dad will take my other one. He decided he liked that one better... apparently the Nokia 3390 that we purchased ended up being too much like a 'toy phone'. And it is in a way, with its variety of features. However, I'm not a very big mobile phone user so I probably won't make the most of those cute features. Although, it does have a very chic metallic red cover case. :3

La Floa Maldita - Voyage Voyage
Yay, I've completed the in-class portion of driver's ed, so around next week or so, I'll be starting the in-car lessons. *worries* I tried driving out for the very first time yesterday with my father... and it's scary! Mainly because I pushed rather hard on the brake pedal... ^^ And I need to sit on a telephone book or something, because the steering wheel slightly obstructs my view. I'm too short... ._. It would have been nice if I had the ability to drive today, I missed the bus and had to wait in the rain for a long time for the next one. >.>;

It's my last day of break, and come Monday, it's back to school again. *shudders* This past week, all my spare time was taken up by my driver's ed homework. So I shall go out and enjoy myself this evening! (...If I can find some company ;.;)

Wednesday, March 13, 2002 05:25 p.m.
Driver's ed has been far more boring than I expected, but I have yet to fall asleep in the class, so there's a good sign. ^^; Though I was awoken rather early this morning when the bus driver absent-mindedly closed the door on me. Luckily, I didn't get too squashed, but I was startled into complete awakeness. o_O; And following through with my daily "indulging myself in food"... I bought a small package of Mrs. Fields cookies on my way home, which are really yummy. Especially the white chocolate macedamia-nut ones. :D

Finally, I have a little bit of time to finish reading my novel this evening (the bookmark's been sitting in the same page since 2 weeks ago!)... *sigh*

What Flavour Are You? I tashte like Alcohol.I tashte like Alcohol.

Heh. Heh. I taste like beer. I like beer. Buy me a beer. I'm not drunk, I can drink plenty without... What was I saying? Beer.
What Flavour Are You?
I am definitely retaking this quiz! How did I end up with that flavour!? Really, out of all the flavours, I end up with this one. x_x I must have checked off a wrong answer somewhere...

Flipper-san: it's not much fun to have to deal with those situations, but I do hope you are proud of yourself for yelling at that lazy member in your group; she was certainly deserving of it. And about that web site that is trying to sell GALS material off of your web site, they deserve the harshest treatment too. So go Flipper! :)

Trying to figure out what the heck is on the TV right now (it's muted)... there's a boy rolling around in hay, with an apparently disgruntled gorilla XD

Sunday, March 10, 2002 12:54 p.m.
Music: Tchaikovsky - Swan Lake
It's been extremely windy the past 24 hours... I could hardly sleep all night because the sound of the wind against the window was so strong. The last time the winds were so powerful, I went out onto the balcony and saw a big, beautiful old tree be knocked over... ;_;

And because I do not want to get blown away either (^^;), I'm missing out on a cross-country skiing trip, which has been postponed (hopefully?) to next Sunday... A random thought: Why does the bookstore carry every Agatha Christie novel except for one of her most famous, Murder on the Orient Express? I want to buy it! >.>; ...And another random observation: this article provides a great deal of insight into the positive progression of Bulgaria's tourism industry. No more randomness for today, gomen... ^-^

Saturday, March 9, 2002 07:16 p.m.
Music: Kylie Minogue - Spinning Around
Who's had a craving for gummy candies lately? *raises hand* I just treated myself to some Fuzzy Peaches and Swedish Berries. Sure, I feel sick, but also hyper!! ^.^ Also had a taste of green tea... I saw it at the grocery store and decided to get something other than my usual fruit tea mix. It's quite good, much better than I thought it would be, and very soothing. (With a little honey added in, of course!)

It's no mystery that at Emode's 7 Deadly Sins quiz, I got gluttony. And haven't I mentioned this already? o_O;

Aahh, I can't believe it, but the computer froze again as I was typing a nice long entry! x_x I am in such a good mood that it doesn't matter anyway because... it's spring break! (aka March break, as it doesn't feel quite like spring yet ~.~) Even though I fell asleep when I came home yesterday and missed an outing with friends, *sweatdrop* I'm determined to have lots of fun this week. (In between driver's ed that is. ^^;) It's a mild day today, so outside I shall go! :)

Thursday, March 7, 2002 05:44 p.m.
The computer always finds the right moments to freeze! I had just typed up a long, descriptive entry about the German contest I went to today... I am not going to type it all over again! ._. So I'll just keep it short this time: writing compositions are not the same as writing essays; the organizers should NEVER show that German film again!; I placed somewhere in the top 15 in my group (my guess would be 15th, LOL ^^); and overall, it was fun. Au revoir... I mean, auf Wiedersehen!

Monday, March 4, 2002 04:50 p.m.
Music: Lili Ivanova - Kamino
Nothing much today. It was so cold and windy, I don't even know how I managed to avoid getting frostbite while walking home. ^^; Updated the snapshots for March, but that web cam is making me look much happier than I actually am at the moment. :/

Saturday, March 2, 2002 08:57 p.m.
Music: La Floa Maldita - L'Oasis
Eh, thought I'd add the music thing again. *looks above* Adds more depth to the web log entry. ^^; Went shopping today... there are such cute things at the plushy and Disney stores. You're never too old to find enjoyment in toys, right? I did far more browsing then buying however; come to think of it, I only bought an ink cartridge for the printer. :/ I made sure to keep the "saving every penny" resolution in mind!

I lost my biology textbook. ._. Argh, I'm really upset about it because I so seldomly lose something, and it had to be this. I need it to study for my test (luckily I downloaded the entire text in PDF format), it has a hefty replacement cost, and I was SO sure I left it in the accounting classroom. >.>; I hope no one took it as a joke, I had 4 calculators disappear last semester, only to find out a stupid person had thought it funny to take them as a joke! (I get really panicked when I've misplaced something... perhaps it is a *little* funny. ^^')

Library volunteering has taken an interesting twist... looks like I'm needed as a model for posters for a reading campaign. Err.. me, as a model? *tries to pose* It's all for a good cause though! Plus digital photos allow for digital enhancement, LOL. :D

I ran into my good old buddies when I left the library though... at first they were behaving nicely, asking questions about my library work... and then, dragging me into the boys washroom seconds later. (To add to my life-scarring experiences. -_-) Thanks guys. I had made photocopies for them too. You think boys at 16-17 would be a little more mature?! But then again, they had problems using the photocopy machine, so...

It's a little late, but Chestita Baba Marta! (This is a Bulgarian holiday to welcome spring... and spring-cleaning too! *glances around room and is ashamed*)
