06:49 p.m. Wasn't able to take my driving test today. ;_; I couldn't go to school either, because when I got up this morning, I really did not feel well at all. I've just been sleeping all day, and I'm glad that I'm better now! It's hard to catch up when you miss a day of school... But, I must say, vitamin C is very helpful when you have a cold. This has been a message brought to you by Dr. Isabela. :D

12:42 a.m. This $%*#@ cold! T.T The medication I took is making me incredibly drowsy, and the sad part is that I have to finish a graph for chemistry that I've been working on for 2 hours. (A rather complicated one...) I just want to sleep!! Ah, by the way, great new layouts over at Yukino's, Charlene's, and Connie's logs! ^^

08:00 p.m. I have a cold. Keeping track, I sneezed about 32 times today, already; and have exhausted all the supplies of Kleenex in my house. ;_;

Everything is just unbelievable right now, even still. My classmates were not so worried, stating that Canada wouldn't be involved in any of this. But we feel it here too. How could one's heart not go out to all those whom are suffering? And apparently some of the terrorists hid HERE (and in other places around the world.) o.o Now I hear the phrase "possibility of war" floating around... Wow.

03:54 p.m. Oh my god... I can't believe what has happened today. I can only pray that all of my loved ones and friends in the U.S. are okay. I can't believe this, I just feel so numb... I won't mention it again though, it's just too horrible.

04:00 p.m. Wai! Another shortened day at school, so I got to leave at 1 p.m. But thanks to public transportation, I didn't come home until quarter after 2. ^^; I'm so tired (who isn't on Mondays?) but thankfully I'm in a much better mood than I was in the entry below! I think that I'm getting into the swing of things, and I found out today how much authority I have on the school bus in the morning because I'm one of the "older" kids. The entire back of the school bus is reserved for the older students. Keke ~XD I do feel a little bit sorry for the younger ones, having to sit right up at the front with the bus driver. o.O;

A lady has just come from Bulgaria and half her baggage was gifts from my family back in Bulgaria. Hmm... I feel bad that they've sent me so many things, and yet I can't help but feel curious as to what the goodies are... I'll be able to go and pick the stuff up on Friday ^^

Oi... that's all the logging for today. Believe it or not, I have approximately 4 hours of math homework today. The teacher is not in her right mind, either that or she thinks we are human calculators who can handle pages and pages of polynomials & exponential equations. >.>;

05:37 p.m. Bahhh! I'm in a terribly bad mood right now. Why do people do the things they do sometimes? ;_; Eventually they'll realize how stupid they were... maybe 10 years later? I'm going to run around outside for a few minutes to let off some steam... I don't like staying mad like this!! But... argh! Just one of those awful days.... >.>;

04:06 p.m. Merci Charlene and Flipper [for the layout compliments!] Today has really been the most hectic day yet since the start of school... perhaps I'll elaborate on the weekend. I'll post again then, at least! Too busy right now. ;_;

Wednesday, September 5, 2001
04:39 p.m. I have to get all my homework done ASAP because I want to do other things... and I think that that is what bothers me the most about school - the constant work that allows next to no free time in the evenings. I've hardly been able to do any personal reading since I began school, have watched very little TV (is that unhealthy? ^^;) or talked with my friends. >.>; And today, I want to watch some US Open tennis, I'd like to study driving procedures so I can take the test tomorrow, etc... but I CAN'T!! Only the second day of school and I'm complaining! ;_;

Besides that, today was much better than yesterday. I'm getting used to my classes and getting up early, even dealing with all the hyper people on the bus after school. -_-; In ancient history, the teacher gave a very intriguing discussion that began with dinosaurs to Charles Darwin. Ne, I think I'll enjoy this class! Similarly in English, it is amazing how the teacher can dissect and examine a few seemingly simple lines of Shakespeare's Macbeth! And yet, this is too much information, at least for just the second day of school. I'm thinking that's why I took such a long nap when I came home today; all this new knowledge makes me sleepy... hmmm, I don't think that's a good thing? ^^x

06:22 p.m. Aww, our poor, ill-fated bishoujo & bishounen. ;_; I especially like the description for Allen Schezar... "Beautiful, intelligent and thoroughly sleazy." *hides from Joey* That was just one example!! ^^;

02:22 p.m. Waaa. >.>; Today is just one of those days where I see the glass half-empty rather than half-full. Going to school was not enjoyable, not even a little. And it was only a 1/2 day. What will I do for the rest of the year?

First was mathematics... the teacher immediately scared me by saying that this particular course should only be taken if you are planning to study mathematics at university. Which I'm not. But I cannot change it now... math is also my weaker subject, thus I think I'll have a very difficult time with this course. ;_;

Ancient history was actually quite enjoyable. Because I like history, as well as the teacher, I think I'll look forward to this course. The only problem is, there is such an incredible amount of work to cover. We begin by discussing the Big Bang theory, all the way to the reign of Julius Caesar. That is a lot of history o_@;

Chemistry: thanks to the teacher, a course I normally enjoy will be very boring. Her voice can put anyone to sleep, I assure you. She never changes her tone, and seems to talk as if reading from a textbook. -_-; Many of my friends also have lunch at this time, so my lunch (which follows chem) will be very lonely. ;_;

Finally English. An exact repeat of year 10 English. Same teacher, same classroom, same method of teaching the course. We began, (as we did with Romeo & Juliet) by memorizing an important part of the play. This year's play is Macbeth. If it were done, when 'tis done... My teacher's voice is still in my head like a broken record. T_T

There must be some positive things to discuss, ne? Well, we have a new exchange student from Germany, and for a change, she is very perky and friendly. I have to practice my German on her, and she must do the same with her English. ^^; ... What else? I like my locker very much, it's right at the corner, so I'm not surrounded by people on both sides. :D

And now, I'm at home, just watching the US Open which has been stopped a few times today because of rain. ~_~ Then there is chemistry homework to get to. This has only been the first day of school. ._. *wishes it was holidays again*

02:09 p.m. Just finished watching Vol. 1 of Legend of Basara. I liked it more than I thought I would... though the story moves very quickly, characters were already strongly developed by the end of 4 episodes. The entire anime is only 13 episodes, and due to this, it comes to a rather quick conclusion. I still wouldn't mind watching the other 3 volumes, and perhaps I'll read some of the manga translations. The story is very unique, to say the least! ^^

Aha, before I forget, I added a little more to the sidebar, fixed/added links, and edited the entry below... Too many grammatical errors when you write as you are falling asleep on your keyboard, I suppose. -_-;

I finished cleaning my room today, thank goodness! ^.^ My desk is so nice & clean now, which is good, because I cannot work when my desk is messy. It's impossible for me. I organized my bookshelf too, (see, I show such promise as a library volunteer! XD) and put away all my old Sweet Valley High, Babysitters Club, etc. books into my closet to make room for the more "mature" books & classics. *cough* Also ate these INCREDIBLE 2-bite brownies I got from the grocery store yesterday... I've never had brownies that are so fudgy & yummy!! *_* And finally... *pauses to take a breath* ... there is only a 1/2 day of school tomorrow. So I can be home at 12, instead of 3:30... what a relief. ^__^

11:53 p.m. My fingers hurt so much that I am struggling to type. Everything hurts much too much. ;_; I played at least 4 hours of tennis today because my father is trying to help me become a better tennis player. And of course, I need a lot of work, hence the amount of time invested! ^^; I watched Jurassic Park III with my friend at the nearby small theatre after. It was really funny because my friend kept jabbing me in the rib everytime a dinosaur was coming, thus knocking all the the popcorn out of my hand. Well, if you need a super action-packed movie with a predictable, happy ending, go see this one. ^^v I just know now to sit far away from my poke-poke friend... -_-;

Now... tomorrow. I plan to relax, and do absolutely nothing but make my lunch for school and fill out a volunteer application for the library. I know, I know, they already have many volunteers, but I must show them somehow what an asset I could be. =D I actually *love* sorting, looking, and reading books... anything with books for that matter. The library needs a volunteer who will set an example for the others, who tend to fall asleep when no one is looking. XD! *dodges objects thrown at her* I am giving myself too much credit. I can't believe how hard it is to find simply volunteer work either! ;_; Time for sleep now though, I'm dead tired. Literally. Oyasumi!

[BTW, thanks for the layout compliments everyone! And Gem-chan, your new layout is my favourite so far! I love it. ^_^]

06:41 p.m. Here's the new layout. I advised you not to expect very much. -_-; I had to upload it though, the other one was boring me! Please let me know if there are any viewing problems or broken links. I've been lazy all day today, so I wouldn't be surprised if I left something out in the HTML code! This layout features a nice picture of Florence, Italy, (well... until I ruined it in Photoshop during my experiments with the filters ^^) and is blue again because that happens to be my favourite colour. I can't design layouts very well in any other colours! ._. Anyhow, Florence would be a nice city to visit...

I'm not in a 'blogging mood' today, so I don't have much to write about... let's see... My father is bringing home my favourite type of pizza, Mediterranean vegitarian, and although I'm not in the least bit a vegitarian, I just like it a lot. Strange, ne? Ah... my anime tapes came today, and very quickly, as well. I think I'll take this last free long weekend to watch them. And school starts on Tuesday. ;_; I should look over my old math notes now, I can't remember anything from last year's math class! =_=
