11:20 p.m. Just got back from the school dance. I left a little early because my throat was hurting again and I had so little energy that I couldn't dance anymore. For a while there, it felt really surreal, and all I could hear was this strange hypnotic-like music... *cough* I had an Aspirin right before the dance for my headache and I think it had an odd effect, keke. The lights were quite funky too, and there was also that smoky gas that is sprayed periodically. It just added to the 5 minute 'twilight zone' effect I experienced...^^
On the way back home, I stopped at Second Cup and got myself a white hot chocolate with lots of whipping cream. Yum yum, I love white chocolate although everyone seems to hate it! It had a good effect on my poor throat though, so that's my excuse for drinking such a large cup!
Elyse! I love the new layout on your log. It's very beautiful! *_* I'll remember to change the link as well, even though I fear I might forget and not change it until years from now. ^^; *sweatdrop* ...Phillip, glad to see you better & posting again. ^^
I must get some sleep tonight, as I have to get up super early and do volunteer work. As long as my throat doesn't get worse, I'll survive. Bon soir... z_Z

11:25 p.m. Gomen, I haven't been posting much lately, everything has been very hectic this week! I had a test on Canadian government etc. today and my hand hurts so much from writing. The teacher said that there were only short answer questions but I think she was quite mistaken. ^^; Yeouch... Before that however, our school had an assembly about an Internet safety program called... "Cyberproofing". -_-; They showed a video with such terrible actors that everyone was laughing so much and I don't think their point got across. Keke, the actors were even surfing through "cyberspace" on surfboards. Very innovative ^^;
Is it just me, or are relationships very confusing sometimes? I won't go into more detail about it, but they can be so complicated, ne? *thinks* I suppose the best thing is to learn from past experiences and move forward. ^^ Err... that was what my English teacher happened to say in class today...
I bought a ticket for the school dance, which is on Friday, and hopefully it will be fun. I had a great time last time there was a dance, despite the fact that the music was so loud that I couldn't hear properly for about 2 days. Nor can I see very well anymore... I must get my eyes checked because I think a pair of glasses might help me see the chalkboard at school more clearly. The teacher has been annoyed at my constant squinting. *laughs*
Joey-san, what a lovely layout on your blog! It's Do as Infinity! *_* Oh, and Elyse, thanks for wishing me luck. Less then a month until exams and I haven't made an attempt to review my work. -_-; But teachers keep assigning homework constantly so there isn't much of a chance to begin studying for exams yet. *sweatdrop*
Well, that's all for today! I better get some sleep for this week - I'm volunteering on Saturday all day for a MS foundation and I'll have to force myself out of bed very early [that's a difficult feat for Isabela-chan] =_=

11:18 p.m. [Listening to 'Thousand Nights' by Two-Mix] *falls over* Finally~~! I've finished the design plan for my chemistry project along with my other two group members. I mentioned before that it was involving the manufacture of beer (yes, beer o.o) and I never realized how complicated it could be. But it has been completed and now we are ready to work on the actual project. My computer-obsessed partner even started a Flash page about our 'beer product'
here. Sometimes I wonder about him... ^^;
Wai, I may have to do a web page for my English project. The teacher seems to like presenting things in a way that utilizes technology. ^o^ I don't mind too much... though no one will be interested in reading about Thrace and its part in Greek Mythology. I find Greek mythology (specifically Thrace) very interesting which is why I chose the topic... but I am finding now that doing research for it is overwhelming. ._.
Gomen nasai! A very boring post about the daily troubles of Isabela's school life. ^^ I'm exhausted now because of working for 12 hours non-stop, therefore I must say: Oyasumi~~!
( Saturday, May 5, 2001 )
01:10 p.m. Wai,
Yukino, you understood that entry I wrote in Bulgarian? o.o I hope you don't think I sounded stupid... I was just a little sad about not being able to go to Bulgaria this summer. ^.^ Plus my grammar was quite bad since I never write in Bulgarian *guilty look*
Selene, I'm glad you had a nice time! Elyse, I guess now I can say congratulations that you are finished. Hmmm, those other two courses you mentioned sound very interesting. I've had to study a lot of similar material lately for my English project on mythology... and I mean a lot! o.o; Don't worry too much though, enjoy a little break!
Before I forget...
Chestit rozhden den na Nasko, Chicho Vlado i Filip! [Just some happy birthday greetings to relatives ^^]
I have some more things I meant to write about, but I must be going out (since it's a nice day yet again!) ^_^

04:34 p.m. Gem-chan! So glad to see you posting again. I can understand how physics can be overwhelming, we just started a major physics unit and my head is already spinning from all the calculations. [Isabela doesn't appreciate math very much either, so things are not made much simpler! <.<;].
I've just realized that I have about 8 birthdays this month to remember! ~_~ Tomorrow is my cousin's and uncle's, next week is my aunt's, then more cousins, then grandma's, then 3 friends of mine! Whoo~~ that means I must get to work and pick out some presents and write cards o_o;
Ne, Elyse, thanks for correcting me. I've only seen some of the VPM TV series and never the manga so they looked alike to me. ^^; Wai... that's two very nice-looking bishounen to like now! :3 *flutters*
Err... I just checked my e-mail and take a look at this message. This is junk mail in the truest sense of the phrase (though I'm sure there are worse!):
Dear Friends & Future Millionaire:
AS SEEN ON NATIONAL TV:
Making over half million dollars every 4 to 5 months from your home for an
investment of only $25 U.S. Dollars expense one time
THANK'S TO THE COMPUTER AGE AND THE INTERNET !
BEfore you say ''BULL'', let us tell you....
...And it goes on and on, including several spelling and grammatical errors. ^_^ *snicker* Oh... I've forgotten that I have to go to the video store. My friends and I were in Civics class today becoming restless because it was 31 degrees today (!_! very unusual but gorgeous weather) and also due to the fact that the movie about government systems was awfully boring. So Faye-chan suggested that we watch Gladiator tomorrow being that it is somewhat historical and that we have 'movie days' on Fridays. I volunteered to rent the video since no one seemed to have a copy or only had a DVD of it. And although it's terribly hot outside, I will venture out and rent that movie! The whole class will appreciate watching Gladiator much more than Canadian political systems films from the 80's... ^-^
I don't care much for Survivor but I hear this final episode tonight is 3 hours long? T_T

09:53 p.m. Ah mi... mnogo iskam da otivam v
Bulgaria tazi liato. ;_; Samo che e dosto skupo za samo idin billet. Muchno mi e za moite rudnini~~ (Ako si Bulgarin... da znaish che as losho pisham v Bulgarski! ^_@)
*waves a paper fan back and forth* It is so hot right now... which is wonderful of course, but it is also extremely humid so I feel all sticky. >.< I worked so hard on a graph for science and now my printer refuses to print! It always chooses not to work when I really need it to do so. *taps on printer* Work, work!
Yay! Joey-san likes Larva too. Same seiyuu as Allen? Interesting... Everything does connect to Allen with Joey-san, ne? XD
Elyse~! Congratulations on finishing all your exams and stuff. It's a nice feeling, isn't it? I'm sure you worked very hard and deserve a rewarding break. ^_^ Me, I've got another month before the week of chaos known as "exam time" will torture me... @_@
I just got a whole roll of film developed after school. All these pictures are lying on the floor waiting for a home in a photo-album. Some of them are very funny. For example, those which include some immature friends making silly faces or gestures. o.o But it will be nice looking back at them and remembering those teenage years!
*poke poke* The printer still seems unconscious/asleep/dead...

09:08 a.m. Waa, I'm so bored right now. (Isabela is in class at the moment. ^^) I finished my assignments earlier
and there is nothing left to do. I've just been sitting here staring at the compy screen. Maybe I should
be doing homework from my other classes (such as physics o.o) but I'd prefer to be lazy today. Since the
weather is so beautiful outside, everyone has said it is like summer! 26 degrees celcius! All the flowers and
trees are turning green or blooming. *_*
Let us see, can I sneak out of class to go to the café and get a cinnamon roll? *ponders* Eh, I don't think
my teacher will notice at all, he looks rather asleep himself at the moment.... ^^; *sneaks away*
( Tuesday, May 1, 2001 )
01:01 a.m. Oi oi. I am so very tired. =_= But I can’t sleep… I think it is because I have too much on my mind. I need sleep to concentrate on my science lesson tomorrow. Speaking of which, the chemistry test was very difficult, and I wish I didn't study so much, because I probably wouldn't have done any worse if I hadn't studied at all. Crazy teacher!! *puffs* I don't want to see a chemical formula ever again -_-
I was thinking though, when I came home, about how many female anime fans seems to have one particular bishounen that they are obsessed about... such as Joey with her, err.... adored Allen. :D I was browsing through some pictures earlier today, and came across a few of Larva from Vampire Princess Miyu. *_* Click here, it's for your own good! There is just a mysterious & handsome quality about him... despite the weird name & red nails... XD And the light blue hair too...
Lalala… must get some sleep. I guess I’ll just listen to a little bit of relaxing music. That always helps. ^^

08:04 p.m. New layout! I do like this layout quite a bit even though it didn't take me very long to make. I scanned the picture from my Two-Mix CD and then a layout idea popped into my head, so here it is. I hope all the coding is correct though so that the links show up properly to the side. I've seen some other nice new layouts around as well.
Flipper-san, I love the blue and black combination on yours!
I still have to study for a chemistry test. Even with it being postponed about 3 times, I wish it could be postponed again. I'm getting very confused after having balanced thousands of chemical equations for practice. ^^; It's nearly May already... so many projects, and then exams too. *shudders* Must fight the urge to procrastinate... I think I eat a lot when I am stressed out. I've already eaten about 4 slices of pizza in a span of well, 4 minutes? :O I'm still hungry too. I can't waste anytime searching in the kitchen for food though...
Let me know if anything is wrong with the layout - I sort of rushed when I was putting it together. And this entry is also quite rushed! T_T Ja!

I went on a trip today! I wouldn't exactly call it a class trip, because it seems that all of those who were in my grade cancelled last minute and I didn't because I didn't realize until about 2 days ago there was a trip - when it was too late. >.<; Not to worry, though, for at least one of my friends was there. We went to visit the University of Guelph and attended various sessions taught by professors. I went to one about languages, and it was very interesting. The professor was fluent in some 6 or so languages, wai. :D It was a very useful experience, so I think it was a worthwhile trip. ^^
I came back to school (although school was nearly over) and was bombarded with my friends who were happy to tell me our girls lacrosse team had won. I'm not on it this year, but I was last year... one thing: very, very violent! I decided to stick to being 'team motivator' this year for various reasons... -_-;
Aha! My parents came to pick me up after that and we drove right to the bank so that I could get a bank card. *eyes light up* Now Isabela can take out money when she needs it, ehehe. But I guess I must deposit some first, ne? V_V;;
And THEN, my friend called me to tell me the chemistry test was postponed again to Monday. *waves flag frantically* I missed a rather heavy-duty physics lesson today, but otherwise things worked out well!
Busy times are coming up... like Charlene-san, I will probably have less time for blogging too. ;_; Charlene, I wish you luck on all your mid-year
exams and such!
Is that roast chicken I smell? ^o^ *runs to kitchen*

04:06 p.m. music: 'castles in the sky' by ian van dahl
Today was the International Festival at my school that I was talking about earlier. I was helping out by frying apple fritters for the German booth - luckily, all of the crazy Bavarian costumes were too big for me so I didn't have to parade around in one! -_-; I had some time after and walked around to the other booths... for $3 I got myself a very yummy meal. *pats stomach* Really tasty Phillipine noodles, BBQ duck from the Chinese booth, perogies from the Polish booth, pizza from the Italian booth, and a crepe from the French booth topped with lots of strawberries and whipped cream. I didn't have enough money left for a taco from the Spanish booth. ._. I think I ate enough though... *guilty look*
Wai! Yesterday, there was a wildlife presentation too, with some very... err.. unusual animals. Very adorable baby cougars, and this huge, HUGE snake (I think it was a boa constrictor?) It was so fat and at least 40 feet long!! And... I touched it. Oui..*nod nod* Julius (the snake :D) didn't feel at all the way I thought it would feel. It wasn't slimy, and I had thought it would be. But~~! It wasn't a very pleasant experience nonetheless. I'm not a great fan of snakes. Especially really fat, 40 feet long ones. ^_~
I think I got the burner to work now - I want to make some CDs but a nap might be better first. I feel very lucky because my science teacher moved the chemistry test to Friday so I don't have to study frantically today. And good food makes you sleepy, ne? *zz*
( Sunday, April 22, 2001 )
07:44 p.m. It was such a nice, warm, beautiful day today! All the more unhappy it made me because I had to stay inside and do my homework. ._. I was supposed to finish half of it yesterday, so that I wouldn't have as much today, but I was so excited about the CD burner I got *squeal* that I tried to install it. That wasn't too bad, but now every time I try to burn a CD it says "power calibration error" and sometimes "buffer underrun". I have absolutely no idea how to fix that. ._. It's very frustrating trying to fix computer hardware problems. Or maybe it is the software. @.@
But, I think I feel better by looking at the positive side. I made all the batter I had to for my German teacher, and ate a whole bunch of apple fritters myself today *yum* :D I've also put up a tiny new web page about Two-Mix just because I like the CD I got of theirs so much. ^o^ It's so small, but give consideration to how much complaining I've made about my workload. ^_~
My throat feels much better. I had about 10 Ricola lozenges and they really do work! Waa... I wanted to go outside for a minute - but it's raining. o.o

*yawn* Back home from a busy and sort of funny day. I was in a rush to get to school this morning, so I decided I would just grab my package of Campino's candies to snack on because I had no time to make lunch. ^^ Little did I know how many of my fellow classmates like those Campino candies... the minute I took them out in English class, everyone swarmed towards me... the package that was once full of at least 50 candies reduced to 2. o_o; I made sure I ate those last two myself though! *nods frantically*
Mreh, my throat hurts. I hope I am not getting sick again, because considering all the work I have this weekend, I can't afford to be. ;_; And next week, my school is doing so much for Earth Day! (This is a good thing of course *nod*) Each class gets to plant a tree; I think my class is planting one called a 'chokecherry'... that sounds a little odd, ne? I like cherry trees, but I think this one is slightly different! Then, Tuesday - we have an international fair and I volunteered (without thinking -_-) to help out with the German booth. Frau Holl (my German teacher) told me yesterday that I had to make about 8 different batters for some German recipies by Monday. o_o;;
Wednesday - I volunteered to pick up garbage in the community (again, without thinking -_-) during my lunch, and now I realize I really need my lunch break to study for a science test on that very same day. And Thursday, I have to go on a school trip although I have no idea what it is about. ~_~ Let's hope Isabela will be able to go through next week without having a stroke. '_'
Hai, I'll be heading to my friend's house now - it always makes me feel better eating her ice cream and hugging her kittens. *smile*
