Today is my father's birthday and I still have to go and get him a card. o_O; Happy birthday papa, anyways! And on the subject of birthdays, here is another one for Elyse -> Happy birthday, Elyse! Best wishes. ^_^ (Sorry, that it was a day late!)

I'm a little bit sick, I think. I did some grocery shopping for my grandma yesterday, and when I came back, I could hardly breathe. ;_; It was very suffocating walking outside! I couldn't sleep last night either because of a bad headache. I took some Aspirin, and fell asleep, but I slept in very late today, unfortunately. (I'm ashamed of saying what time I woke up, hehe. ^^;)

It was too late to sign up for that Yoga class! Oh well, there's always those "Learn Yoga on Tape" things, ne? ^^ Before I go: lovely layouts at Selene's and Shiori's logs. Good job! ^_^

Saturday, July 7, 2001 -- 05:31 p.m.
Back from the car wash. ^_^ It went well, except when it started raining and the boys decided to spray all the girls with the hoses. =_= We made around $200 to donate to the Humane Society!

I must find the time to stop by at the community centre and register for this Yoga class. I read a more detailed description of the classes - after every session, you get to soak in a SPA! I've never seen a spa around the community centre pool~~ is it hidden somewhere in some top-secret room? *smiles*

I just read an article in the newspaper about this girl with a 99.5% average! o.o; Her name is Tatiana Kachira, and she came to Canada from Siberia 3 years ago. She got 100% in almost all of her courses, thus resulting in numerous University scholarships. *sigh* How much studying and genious must it take to achieve that? *_* The only big goal I have right now though is to clean out my computer's hard-drive. ~.~ Wish me luck, this is not going to be easy...!

Saturday, July 7, 2001 -- 12:11 a.m.
Volunteer work tomorrow! *rolls up sleeves* I better go to sleep, since the car-wash starts at 11. I've never washed cars though - it can't be too complicated, ne...? How funny would it be if I damaged someone's car? *laughs nervously* What a busy weekend I'll have! (making birthday dinners, cleaning compy's hard drive, etc). I'm going to have to try and sign up for the Yoga class at the local community centre for relaxation purposes. ^^ Only thing is that it starts Monday, I hope it's not too late! Ah, right. Time for sleep. Oyasumi!

Thursday, July 5, 2001 -- 02:56 p.m.
*rubs eyes* I'm very tired... I stayed over at my friend's house yesterday, and we stayed up all night playing video games, cleaning up the mess we made when we tried to cook something (-_-;), and playing with her new kitten. ^_^ There was a big thunderstorm yesterday and at one point, even some hailstones. o.o; Therefore, we stayed inside the house the entire time, not wanting to risk being struck by a huge lightening bolt. :P

Other than that, I don't have much else to say. I've just been reading today, studying French and German, etc. like a good, little student. ^^ I've forgotten so much already. ;_; I wish I had a little bit of inspiration to work on my web sites, but nothing as of yet. Oh yes, happy belated birthday, Noelle and your birthday layout looks wonderful!

Tuesday, July 3, 2001 -- 12:03 a.m.
Oi. >.<; I knew this would happen... I fell asleep at around 6 p.m. while reading Anna Karenina. It wasn't because the book was boring; it's actually very interesting so far, but I've only read up to part II at the moment. *ahem* Back to what I was talking about! ^.^ So, I happened to wake up now, at midnight, all bouncy & genki and yet I should be asleep. @.@ What to do? Hopefully, I won't wake anyone up, because I have been a little noisy. I checked my e-mail, and realized that I already missed a meeting for the school's volunteer association that I joined! At first I thought, "Waah!" but the next e-mail said that hardly anyone attended because of the short notice. *breathes sigh of relief*

I didn't realize, but this volunteering may take up quite a bit of my time... next week we're doing a car wash, and helping serve snacks and refreshments to the poor summer school students ^^ Of course, it's all for a very good cause, but I want to have a little bit of time to work on my web sites, which are getting very dusty as we speak. U_U

Elyse, nice to see you blogging again! I hope you managed to find at least a little bit of fun in Boston...? Oh, and Selene, I hope you are feeling better now. It's right not to worry about gaining extra pounds because no one will ever eat as much as I did yesterday at a 5-course+ wedding meal. ^^; I wouldn't be surprised if I checked the scale today and broke it. ;_; I have no self-control when it comes to good food! *goes to kitchen for a 'midnight snack'* =P

WARNING! Long, and unnecessarily descriptive post:
Yesterday occured the wedding that I had to go to. I thought I would never be able to get up early and get ready on time, but I did (chocolate helps with that! *wink*) The only problem was poor Mama... and her dress mishap. That took a good 45 minutes to resolve so we had to frantically rush downtown to catch the ferry boat. Everything was very crowded because it was Canada Day yesterday (hai, Happy Birthday, Canada! ^_~) and that only served to slow us down.

Remarkably, we didn't miss the ferry, but it was then that I realized the weather was not pleasant at all. It must have been under 20 degrees and WINDY. (Hmm... and the day before it was 32 degrees! How the weather changes...) We got to the island, (Ward's Island was the name, I think) and the ceremony was just about to take place. Everyone was freezing, and since it's colder by the water, it was also windier. The poor priest had to stop several times because the pages of his book were blowing back and forth. o.o; Demo... the bride and goom were married and all was well.

Now, the reception that followed was spectacular! The room was huge, and very beautiful, with a million waiters and waitresses running around with plates of food and such. I don't think I've ever eaten as much as I did yesterday. There seemed to be a never-ending number of courses. First the appetizers, then seafood skewers with salad, then pasta, then chicken, veal, vegetables, and potatoes, then chocolate paté with raspberry sorbet for dessert, PLUS the traditional wedding cake! ^o^

After followed, (in a nutshell!) speeches... in which the groom sang to the bride - how sweet! Talking, drinking, dancing... crazy Bulgarian dancing that made non-Bulgarian guests believe they were witnessing a cult-like ritual... '_' And did I mention drinking? XD Finally, back at home, where I collapsed in my bed at around 3 o'clock. *poof*

I'm still a bit tired today, so I'll catch up on my weblog reading tomorrow. Right now, I think I'll read a little bit from one of the books I bought recently. Wai! I forgot to mention that there was a vast assortment of English-translated manga volumes at the bookstore - Maison Ikkoku, Inu-Yasha, X, MKR - but all at $25 a piece. T_T *grumbles* Maybe if I get this job I am applying for tomorrow, I might be able to buy a few things. And yes, I finally decided that I have to resort to french fries and flipping burgers: tomorrow I'm applying for a job at New York Fries! XD!

Saturday, June 30, 2001 -- 10:16 p.m.
I had a nice time at the store yesterday, even though I went by myself. At least I didn't have to look for a dress; I looked in my closet again and I found a blue one that will be okay. ^_^ Otherwise, I tried this peach Italian soda at a café, and it was very refreshing. It was so hot yesterday; I was thankful to be inside the air-conditioned mall. Let's see.. after that, I bought the CD for my friend's birthday and some stuff for myself. *sheepish grin* I didn't get any CDs though because they were so expensive, even though HMV was having a summer sale (full of those CDs that no one's buying, keke XD) Instead I went to the bookstore, which was also having a booksale, and bought Vanity Fair and Anna Karenina. I'm not a bookworm! They were only $3 each, so why not? ^_^

The wedding I am going to tomorrow looks like a lot of fun, if only the weather would cooperate. >_>; The ceremony is scheduled to take place outside, on an ISLAND off Toronto *excited* :o... but if it rains, it will have to be inside. I haven't been to a wedding in such a long time, so I'm excited to go. I don't know the bride and groom, even though my mother has repeatedly told me that I met the bride when I was little. But I can't remember ._.

Well, I must be off! Ciao. ^^ (Yet another boring post... *sighs*)

Friday, June 29, 2001 -- 01:36 p.m.
My friend's birthday is next week so I have to go to the store and buy her a Queen CD. She has a rather (odd?) obsession with the group. ^^; I also forgot that I have to go to a wedding on Sunday! How come nobody reminded me? ;_; *searches closet for dress* Oi, I might have to buy a new dress. >.<; Which can be a lot of fun sometimes, but not when a picky grandmother watches your every glance and disapproves of nearly every dress!

I asked my parents this morning if I could get a little gift for doing well this past school year and getting a 93% average. Buuut.... all they said was, "How about getting a job?" ;_; *pouts* Somehow I'll convince them... I think! Anyways, I must be off to get ready to go shopping. How much success I will have on buying a gift and perhaps a new dress depends on how much is in my wallet. XD ... o_o; My parents are right; I am in need of a job!

Thursday, June 28, 2001 -- 01:08 p.m.
I had quite a bit of trouble getting up early this morning, but I made it on time for school... I wasn't very nervous about my exam results until I arrived, and then proceeded to have a little bit of a breakdown. ;_; But everything went fine, most of my marks stayed the same or went up (:o) and my final science mark was actually quite good! All A's ^_^ NOW, I can breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy the rest of the holidays... *sighs peacefully*

Taking the bus was a different story - it's unbelieveably hot & humid today, and the bus was *not* air-conditioned. We were all dying for some water by the time the bus stopped at the school. Everyone made a mad dash for the water fountain, keke. XD Right now I have to get back to making my paper-fan before I turn into a puddle of water. Ciao ^^;

Wednesday, June 27, 2001 -- 12:18 a.m.
[Music: Kismet by Bond] I didn't go outside at all today - and such a beautiful day it was! But I was being a little cautious because with the humidex, the temperature was 35 degrees. It's not the heat, but the humidity that really gets to me. ^^

Thanks to those who complimented the new layout. I've also forgotten to mention all the other nice layouts that have been popping up! So many and because it's late I'm too tired to link them.. =_= Gomen nasai. I added a tracker to the log finally, perhaps I might come up with some strange search queries like everyone else has? Keke.

Selene, I don't believe I got an e-mail from you before you went to Japan! Perhaps another reason why it was a good idea to switch e-mail accounts then! Well, please send me an e-mail again at my new address. I've been so busy too, and now too lazy with the start of holidays to have even touched my sites. Once again, gomen nasai! ^_^;

Thursday, I must go for exam-review day and pick up my marks... let's see how much lower they are after having written those difficult exams. *sweatdrop* Anyways, glad to see you blogging Gem-chan!

My aunt came over a few hours ago and brought gummy bears with her. I don't know how long it's been since I've had them. Yum! They're so chewy though, I'm sure they can't be very good for the teeth, ne? *eyes droop* Hmm, I'm a little more tired than I thought.. good-night, everyone! And many apologies about the slightly incoherent sentences. -.-'

Monday, June 25, 2001 -- 06:57 p.m.
I didn't think I'd be able to get on the computer today, but our guest went downtown with my mother so the compy is free! I took the time to update the layout... I really do not like this layout and the top image up there, but I was so tired of the last one and felt like something not as pastel! Hopefully, I'll be able to change it soon! Please also keep your links here at the Pitas page. ^^ Since I don't use frames like before for the log, you might as well link directly here.

Err... I seem to have lost my previous entry >.<; I might have deleted myself by accident though. Anyways, I've reorganized the log a bit, links are on a separate page, the about page has been updated finally, as well as my e-mail address. I've had a few problems with my other account so you can send any e-mails here instead.

By the way, Phil, I love your new blog as well as network! Good work. ^^ I'm so hungry right now~~ haven't really eaten anything today. So I'll just sneak into the kitchen and have a little vanilla ice cream. I don't feel so guilty because it's light. Low-in-fat is good, ne? ^.^'

Thursday, June 21, 2001 -- 07:03 p.m.
[Music: Tose Poeski - Tajno Moja] I've spent these past two days at the mall, looking at all the expensive goodies there is to buy. ^_^ Yesterday, I did actually go to school to help some of my friends study for their history exam (I had history the previous semester) even though I sacrificed sleeping in until noon. ^_- While everyone was writing their exams, I walked up the street from the school to hand in my resume at this footcare centre. But it began to rain a little so my poor resume got all crumpled up and by the time I got there, I felt quite embarrassed to give it in. ;_; But the really nice girl working there photocopied it for me so it looked all nice and smooth. *grateful smile* I don't think I'll get the job though because I have a feeling they want somebody with experience. ;_; Maybe I should start with flipping burgers, ne? -.-

So after that, I walked back to school to take the bus and stopped at the mall. Unfortunately, I walked by the Electronics Boutique and couldn't be dragged out of there until a half hour later. ~_~ The cutest digital camera! Playstation on sale! (Although PS2 was still VERY expensive o_o;) A shiny new printer (mine hardly works anymore)! XD! And because I only had a pitiful 2 dollars, I had no choice but to leave. *poof* I walked by a store that sells all those cute Sanrio things, and there was a stand near the front selling 'surprise bags' for only a dollar. Ne, those are the most addictive things created. I sat there shaking the bags to see if I could figure out what was inside... and I even held one up to the light to see if I could see through the paper. Aha~~ I was sure that one was Keroppi. Sure enough, I bought it, and inside was an adorable little Keroppi notepad and stickers. *smiles gleefully* You're never too old to have surprise bags!

Does anyone know anything about Final Fantasy III? Was it for SNES? Because, at this point, that's the only video game machine I will have for a while. All the game are pretty much not available for it anymore ._.

Wednesday, June 20, 2001 -- 07:14 p.m.
I archived. ^.^ Looks so empty! Hopefully a new layout will be coming soon, I'm so tired of this one. -_-; But what I have so far looks very ugly. Mreh ~~

I'm so tired today z_z ... *collapses on bed*
