I didn't do very much studying today; too many distracting things! ^-^ I watched the movie, The Patriot, starring Mel Gibson. *weepy face* Oh, it was so sad & depressing. As interesting as it is to learn about war, it is a very gruesome thing...

I had a lot of fun after though, because I went to Chapters (somewhat like an equivalent of Amazon.) Wai! I ran from shelf to shelf looking at the books I wanted to buy. And then... I came across some manga translated into English. Now, I'm not too big of a fan on manga (well, at least these commercially translated novels) but some of the pictures looked so nice that I thought it would just be good to collect them. X/1999, Maison Ikkoku (this one I *really* wanted), Inu-Yasha, etc... What stopped me, though? The prices... at least $25 each. :/

My budget consisted basically of about five dollars, so I went pathetically to the Bargain Books section to look at some of the books. I finally chose one I think sounds rather interesting, called A Map of Paradise by Linda Ching Sledge. It is about ninetennth-century Hawaii. I've always wanted to know a little more about Hawaii...

I worked on my personal page today, and changed the layout I had previously made (a Final Fantasy one), and changed it to a very, very simple tables layout, with a picture from Hungary. Although simple, I still like its effect & it will be easy to add in any other content. Which reminds me of the anime, Romeo's Blue Skies. An animation that is so simple, but still carries a lot of emotion. ^-^ I am really in the mood to purchase some fansubs; definitely Weiss Kreuz & Vampire Princess Miyu TV. Let me know if you have any other suggestions! Arigatou. ^-^ I should go now, read a little, and resume studying (what studying?!) *hangs head* v_v Ciao!

I'm up a little early, ehe ^.^ I really couldn't sleep very much, so I just decided that I should wake up and enjoy the day. It's a good idea too, since I'll have to be getting up early again starting Monday for school. The problem is... I'll be sound asleep by 3pm today. *hangs head* Let's see, I have to do some exercises dealing with a French story I read; unfortunately, I don't even understand the ending (it's a mystery) in English either. And let's not mention the rather odd storyline, about a man dressing up as a women.. year 5 French? I think not! ^_^v

I've been doing a little surfing and I've found quite a few anime series that interest me. Right now, I really like Romeo's Blue Skies; although the animation is simple, the storyline is very unique and the background footage of Italy & the Swiss Alps is breathtaking! I recommend it. Hopefully, I'll make a page to this lesser known series. ^-^

I don't want to go back to school, I just feel so lazy and I don't know how I will ever handle all the work I have to do this month. I'm not usually so negative, but I guess I can't help it. ^_^ Well, as I said before, I probably won't be posting very much when school begins. I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays! Wai! Time to clean up my room - and gather up my schoolbooks which have dust all over them. *winks*

I know, I really shouldn't be on the internet, especially at this time (look below *_*). But I just can't sleep because I have too much on my mind... exams always stress me out. ^_^ I'll start studying with a little more concentration tomorrow. And then I'll go sign up for latin dancing lessons as well; I think it would be fun to do something a little different. ^-^ Hmm, and perhaps I could pick up an application for Starbucks. That would be a fun job.

I watched a little bit of TV today. The Karate Kid Part II from the 80s; although outdated, I liked it. It had a little bit of everything: martial arts, romance, comedy. I like martial arts quite a bit; but hardly anyone believes me. ;_; I also watched this Swedish movie... it was so depressing that I missed most of it because I was weeping 5 minutes into it.

But then, I made a little business deal with two friends and sold some things in my (petite ^o^) anime collection. So now I'll be able to buy some anime tapes I wanted with less guilt. ^_^ I'm thinking about some Vampire Princess Miyu episodes, Weiss Kreuz, the Angel Sanctuary OVAs before they get taken off the list (!), Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, and maybe Hyper Police. I'll have to think about what to get, because I don't have a job yet and I need to save up my money. ^_^ I'm happy I at least found a fansub distribution that I like. I forgot the link, but I should post it!

I wish life wasn't so stressful. ;_; It always makes me sad when the holidays are over. But on the bright side, I LOVE the Gals! layout at Suzaku.nu! Flipper is very talented. ^-^ And speaking of talent, we of course must mention Amaru's new layout at Seventh Moon. It's one of my favourites so far. ^_^ And also Alexa's new layout at Cherrycoma.net is very cute. ^_^ Mmm, I wish I had some talent! Well, my eyes are getting droopy so I should try and sleep. ^_^ Please refer to the below post if you don't see me post very often (but I probably will anyways, I just can't help it!) *innocent eyes*

BTW, please excuse any bad grammar or spelling! It's just so late and my eyes are getting blurry!) @_@

Oh dear, it is a little late, ne? I just updated Ever Free with its new layout, a little earlier than planned. I forgot that a little while ago, I made a new year resolution to not go on the computer as much. It can be a very distracting thing. ^-^ With this busy month I have ahead, I think it is probably best that I don't use my compy-chan for a little while. I need to concentrate on my studies, so this is probably best!

So if you don't see any recent entries here, it will be because Isabela will be studying and maybe even working a job (finally, it's about time! ^_^) Hopefully, I'll have a spare minute here or there to log, and I'll always check my e-mail because that's important to do, of course! Wai! It's so cold right now in my room so I am going to go by the fireplace.. well, I don't have a fireplace, so, the little heater. ^^; Ja!

I think I'm getting a little sick. ;_; It was so cold last night, somewhere around -20 degrees, and even with my little bunny slippers, blankets, and the heater, I was still cold. And that's how one gets a cold!

Tomorrow, I have to get started on the homework I have before I go back to school. When I do go back, it's only 3 weeks until exams. @_@ Scary thought for me! One thing that I have finished is the next layout for Ever Free. It's very pastel-green and soft. I'll pray for some free time to upload it this weekend. I know now that I won't be doing the Route Arina page I had thought of; it would be so much work, and there is one great collective up now, organized by Alexa -- Project Kamikaze!

I'm even considering deleting a few other pages too; I think that it's better to have fewer pages so you can concentrate more on each individual page. But for now, I think I'll just relax and post in my weblog. ^-^

One idea I have, however, is a Kimagure Orange Road page. I like the series, although rather old, but when my friend lent me a subtitle OVA about 2 years ago, I really liked it. ^_^ Unfortunately, that is the only tape she has, so I have to find the actual TV series tapes somewhere...

Wai! I forgot, I watched several movies today & last night (it's too cold to go outside so I just stay inside all day ^^;;). The Talented Mr. Ripley.. well, was quite "messed-up" to say the least. I did like the scenery in Italy, though! Then today, I watched Gossip, which was all right, and also... Stuart Little. You know, with the computer-animated mouse? It wasn't so bad, even pretty cute at times! ^_^

I'll miss relaxing and watching TV when I go back to school... I think we all wish at times that the holidays could last forever. ^_^

I'm going to watch The Talented Mr. Ripley in a couple of minutes starring Matt Damon. I haven't seen it yet, so I guess that's what the Movie Channel is for! ^_^ My friend Faye (not Faye Valentine, keke ^^;;) told me it was a pretty "messed-up" movie. Oh well, I shall see...

I did the Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne character personality that Adrian created just now, and here are my results:

  1. Minazuki Yamato
  2. Kusakabe Maron/Kaitou Jeanne
  3. Access Time
  4. Finn Fish
  5. Toudaiji Miyako
  6. Nagoya Chiaki/Kaitou Sindbad
  7. Takazuchiya Zen
  8. Hijiri-sensei/Noin

Hmmm, Yamato, interesting. ^-^ I'll have to ponder about that one. One thing I know for sure is I am definitely not at all like Noin. ^^;; And Gundam Wing is on too, I'll watch that as well. The dubbed version keeps the original music, at least. ;-)

Happy New Year, everyone! I am very sorry that I was a little late, but I had a lot of problems trying to post due to both Digitalrice and Blogger. I am using Pitas now so that I don't have to FTP the entries and so far it is working very well. ^_^ (Except that I miss my poor other entries. ;_;)

The last entry I made was I think about the Gone with the Wind movie.. which I watched, all 4 hours. I didn't know it was so long. Wai! I was watching till about 4am!

Australia celebrates its birthday today.. is it 100th? Speaking of Australia, I watched an Australian soap opera today called Neighbours. I like it, it's pretty interesting. There was another Australian show I used to watch called Ocean Girl. (I know, the title's funny.) But I liked it. ^-^

I'll be selling quite a few of my Sailormoon tapes so I can get new anime. I have a few other tapes that are getting dusty that I have to get rid of.. but I'm definitely holding on to my Tenchi in Love movie and Tokimeki Memorial OVA 1. I've been reading the anime summaries of the anime classic, Kimagure Orange Road, and I find it quite interesting. ^_^ I have to find some tapes of that anime...

Hmm, I guess that's all for now. I'm so tired from watching another long movie called Doctor Zhivago about the Bolshevik revolution in Russia. Interesting but depressing. @_@... *sips champagne*. Chestita Nova Godina!

The movie I watched last night was pretty bad. It was French Canadian, and well, it was just boring. But while that was on, I flipped channels to the Discovery Channel!! Has anyone ever seen that show, "The Crocodile Hunter"? Oh my goodness, the guy that hosts the show is insane! There was one episode where he was being chased by this deadly komoda dragon or something in the Australian outback, and while he was running frantically around the WHOLE desert, he was screaming stuff like, "Isn't she a beauty!" Yeah, especially since she wants to kill you, stupid!

I also watched a little of a Japanese subtitled movie that was on, called Fireworks. But it was too sad & rather gory for me. It was about this cop that has a dying wife and takes her on one last trip but has to use money from the mob to afford it... and well... ^_^ I think I prefer Japanese anime more... ne, that can be depressing & gory too! ;)

My eyes look so nice & blue today! I think with blue eyes, sometimes they change colour a little, but today they look light blue, rather than ugly greyish-blue. My friend, who reads books constantly (i.e., when eating, when bathing, etc. ^^;;) came across the expression of "Prussian Eyes". She asked me what it means, but I do not know, does anyone else know? Eh, whatever.

Let's see... *checks TV guide* Wai! Gone with the Wind is on tonight. Believe it or not, I have never seen this movie! And isn't it a classic or something? I miss my friends... but they are all gone -- snowboarding in B.C, Ottawa, Quebec, Florida.... but I'm stuck here and it is so cold outside! Eh, I didn't know that they renamed Tomoyo in Cardcaptor Sakura "Madison" in the English version. ;_;
