Oi, I'm so tired! But I have many more things to do today so I can only take a little nap before I go. ;_; It's been an interesting end to the week... I have lots to log about, but I can barely type at the moment. I'll be back (sometime this weekend ^^) *falls over*

Listening to 'Polyester' by Maximilian Hecker, downloaded from Milk Cocoon. I love this song! Just the type of music I feel like listening to! Thanks for uploading it, Alexa! ^^ I would have liked to d/l the other one as well, but being that it was 10 MB, my slow, little modem would not handle it very well. *adds speedy Internet to Christmas list*
Rented more movies this weekend because I didn't have much to do. ^^; Here's some commentary, though I shall refrain from mentioning every movie I watch because I don't want to turn this weblog into a movie reviews page or something. ~_~x ... (1) Bridget Jones's Diary - a very funny, sort of "woman power!" movie. I need to read the book. (2) The Mummy & The Mummy Returns - XD! Hooray for fun adventure movies! Both of them were great, and educational in a way, because I'm learning about Ancient Egypt in history now... *ahem* I just threw in the educational bit there as an added bonus XD... moving on now: (3) The English Patient - I didn't see it when it first came to theatres so I rented it because it won a lot of Academy Awards. ^^ Very dramatic; good acting; but very long as well... Whoo!
I'm sitting here right now, pondering about my chemistry homework because upon doing a certain calculation, I came up with a percentage yield of 153%... which makes no sense whatsoever. How can that be? o_O; The candy I won last week has been my only apparent success in this class; thanks Joey and Phil for the most needed congrats... since all I got was a few evil looks from my schoolmates while I was munching on the Kit Kat bar. XD
I'm being distracted from my schoolwork because The Chipmunks Halloween specials are on TV. Aww, Theodore's so cute, even though Alvin seems to pick on him all the time! Poor little Theodore!! *sheds a tear* XP

Ahahahaha. XD~ I won a prize in chemistry for being the first person to hand in a common chemicals sheet with all the right answers! I'm happy because (a) the sheet took me an incredibly long time to fill in: what is aqua regia anyway?! (b) I had to make use of my *cough* top-notch sprinting abilities in order to beat my friend to the teacher, & (c) the prize was tropical Skittles and a Kit Kat bar! The only junk food I like. ^_^ (I usually prefer my grandma's home-baked goodies.)
In mathematics, we're a bit ahead of all the other classes, therefore the teacher allowed us to make our own smiley faces on graphing calculators. The one & only enjoyable thing I've done in math class this entire term! Mind you, it's not exactly easy - we had to figure out which equations would work so that we actually came up with a happy face! I was a little frustrated at first because I couldn't get the eyes in their proper places... -_-;
Err... in English class, the teacher asked each student about the topics they had chosen for the big project we must do. Of course, I didn't have one - I can never make decisions - so the teacher decided to suggest choose one for me. @.@ And so... I have to do a huge analysis on Anna Karenina since my teacher knows I read the book over the summer... which is awful because I'm going to have to reread it in all its massiveness and complexity. Hmph. >.>;
But enough about school! Gomen, I rant about it far too much in this pita! ... Ummm, I can't think of anything else to say, however... Poor Isabela has no life. ;_; There are many great new layouts I've spotted; so many that I'm too tired to link them all today. For next entry, okay?! ;) I'm going to drink my tea now, before it gets cold. Tea has a very soothing effect when it lacks caffeine. ^_^

Hello. ^_^ I've been extremely busy with various things, and so have been left with left very little time to blog. ;_; I don't have much to say either... unless you want to hear me rant about my chem teacher kekeke XD I rented some movies over the weekend with my friend - the first one was Enemy at the Gates, which I liked despite some minor things because I'm a sucker for war movies... *ahem* Jude Law *ahem*... Did a whole little weepy session at the end too~! ^^;; The other movie was Chocolat, which was quite interesting and has encouraged me to read the book - my friend says it's much better. Well, when I have the time! ^-^
I'm hoping to attend a dinner party next week, so long as it doesn't get postponed or cancelled. It's the first time I'll be going to a dinner party and it makes me feel so old. ^.^ It sounds a great deal more formal than the average party! To be honest, I'm looking forward to eating a plateful of good food, more than anything else. >:D No doubt I'll spill it on my nice formal clothing though. Mishaps always happen around me... *stomps feet*
Better catch up on reading logs as well, which I will reserve for tomorrow at school during my lunch break. And maybe, just maybe, I will get my learner's permit for driving sometime this week, after having procrastinated for 3 months already?? o_O; Have a nice week everyone!

Well, today was another strange day (I suppose strange days follow one another?) I came to school at the normal time, but I didn't have to be there until 11:30. ^^x So I went to a friend's house and ate all her cookies, as well as frightened her uncle because he was sleeping and was awoken believing that burglars had entered the house. -_-; He didn't expect anyone to be coming home mid-morning, I think, or maybe he's actually a little crazy. (From what I've heard. XD!)
In history class, we didn't have much work to do, so my friend started drawing funny pictures on the board. He drew a little mushroom with legs and arms and gave it the name of someone in the class (jokingly, of course!). o_O; He also drew a lovely *cough* portrait of me, with a huge head, and the rest of the body in tiny proportions. Ahh, if only I could have taken a picture of it, it was hilarious! ... Did that robot test too, just now, and I'm David, from A.I. Hmm... I had a feeling I was going to get that one. ^^v
I've had luck recently in relocating blogs: V-chan's and Tin's today. I have to change the links, and I will soon enough!.... I'm just a teensy bit lazy today. ^^ Shiori is also back with a lovely new layout. Congratualations on graduating! Phil, best wishes! I hope you won't be absent from blogging for long, ne? And Joey, it's great that you dropped banking! It will be much easier concentrating on something that you actually enjoy, I'm sure! Geesh, I have the exact same problem as Ziggy; violent relationships with (mostly male) friends. And they've put my school bag on top of the coke machine several times before too. Of course, I make a fool out of myself by trying to jump up (or climb XD!!) the machine to get it. Some people have no sympathy for the shorter people in this world. =P

I'm not sure why I didn't change my clothes when I came home from school today, I was soaked from the rain, and now I'm dripping water all over the keyboard. Poor keyboard suffers much damage from my carelessness. ._.

Wai! Daine, I finally found your new location! I'll fix the link soon (as well as add a few others of the kind people who have linked me!)... just very busy with things at the moment. And might I add, today has been a day full of strange and unusual coincidences. Hmm. o_>;

Working on chem work... the chemical formulas keep getting longer and longer (ex. aluminum potassium sulfate dodecahydrate or something like that *cough*) But I'm trying to relax more because you always do better that way in the long run. Thank you for your advice, Garion! I've been listening to some soothing music and I think I'll reserve a little bit of time tomorrow to watch anime. I have lots of tapes lying around that I haven't yet watched anyway. ^_^
I haven't checked my e-mail inbox in ages; so if you have sent an e-mail in the past month, you'll know now why I haven't responded. Gomen ne ^^; I'll get to it this week, okay? Elyse, I don't know what is wrong, but I hope that you'll be all right! In regards to the copying issue, I support Alexa and Kristine; it is extremely hard to believe that the other party's layout could simply be a coincidence. Well, that's all from me - I want to get my homework done soon so I can watch a documentary on the Roman Empire at 8:00. *ahem* No wonder my friends call me a geek sometimes~~! -_-;

Oh, I feel much better now. ^^v It's been really stressful at school with various tests and assignments. I've mostly been worried about my mathematics mark, which is not as high as I had hoped for, but it's not all that bad, and I suppose if I can get myself to relax during maths tests, I'll do much better! *thinks positively* There have been some other bad things about this week too, but I don't feel like elaborating while I'm in a genki mood, so... ^^
Erm, I was studying for my ancient history test this morning, examining diagrams of human ancestors (australopithecines, homo ergaster, etc... ^^;) when the guy who sits behind me in math class accused me of having a "prehistoric, hairy man fetish". o_O; Needless to say, I was not amused... although everyone else was! It's funny what Fridays can do to you energy levels. While writing the history test, everyone was so hyper, even the teacher who went on with his "paleoanthropologist humour". XD Now we've started into the study of the actual workings of civilization, beginning with Mesopotamia, and it's very interesting! Fortunately, I won't have to study anymore diagrams of hairy, prehistoric men, ne? ^^xx

*yawns* I slept over at my friend's house yesterday, and we stayed up late just chatting about school and life in general. It's nice to have talks like that once in a while with your close friends because it really puts things into perspective. But I didn't get very much sleep, which is why I am currently sitting here yawning, while watching the news on TV...
I'm also at home by myself because my parents went to visit some friends, and thus it's nice and quiet, and I SHOULD be doing my homework. I'll get started soon, I will, I will! ^^; I'm not too happy about being all alone after the locker incident (see below) although I firmly believe one of my friends somehow decided to stage an elaborate prank on me. We'll see... detective Isabela will seek out the truth soon enough! ~_~x
Yup, yup, before I sound anymore ridiculous, I'll go and begin my schoolwork. Oh, Yukino, it was nice talking to you too! Hopefully I'll finish all my work today so that I can go on ICQ again tomorrow. Not to mention, I don't want to be frantically studying while eating Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. *laughs*

Thank you for the layout compliments! Very nice new layouts at Selene's and Joey's blogs as well, go take a look now! ^.^
And now back to my little ramblings of the day. 'Twas not a very nice day either... cold, rainy, etc. I keep feeling that I'm trying so hard to get good marks in school, but I always end up making a few careless mistakes that results in a mark not as high as I had hoped for it to be. Otherwise, it's not that I'm doing poorly, I just hoped to do extra well this year... it's all for university, you know. ^_-
I want to go see a movie, which I haven't done in a long time, but everyone's busy or doesn't want to go in the rainy weather. >.>; It's a long weekend, but that only means twice as much homework for me! Waa... I hate feeling depressed like this, but there are times when one can't help it. ;_; I'll post again when I feel better, so that I won't depress others with my pitiful entries. Bye bye. ^^;

Very strange day... it was 29 degrees outside, which is absurd for the month of October! I wish it could stay this way, but it looks like tomorrow will be back to the normal, chilly temperatures. ._.
When I opened my locker after school today, there was a note taped on the locker door. It said, "I'm watching you... See you soon!" And it's scaring me quite a bit because I don't recall having told anyone my locker combination... The writing looks familiar but I can't put my finger on whose I think it is! ;_; Waah, to think that someone can go into my locker anytime they please... I'm hoping it's one of my friends playing a trick on me...! Or else it would be really freaky, ne? o_O; *looks around suspiciously*
Because my chemistry teacher assigned so much homework, I can't do my driver's license test again today! I've had to postpone it 10-something times already. >.>; I'm getting tired of chemical nomenclature drilling as well. Especially when the teacher enjoys making up questions involving acetate and other long formulas. =_=
I'm still in a lot of pain, both from the needle yesterday, and having been squashed like a bug in the morning by my "supposed" guy friends who love to pick on innocent little people like me. ._. *plots revenge* ... Also, I think Pastelmood.com is having some problems because I can't access my collective and the images here are broken. x_X

Eh... finally got my pita up again. I was trying to upload a new layout yesterday, but for some reason, it wouldn't work and I didn't have any time to fix it up. I had to go to the doctor's to get my chicken pox vaccine (as I haven't gotten the chicken pox before). Let me just say one thing! That is the most painful needle I have ever gotten in my LIFE! Apparently there is something in the vaccine that causes it to potently sting as it's going into your arm. >.>; I also had a somewhat allergic reaction to it, and my whole arm (as well as my nose?!) swelled up. That's another story in itself though... ;_;
Ah, about the layout... I know, it's another one of just a place in the world; I'll try to make an anime one for next time, I just haven't come across any nice images lately! So this is the last time I'll bother you with layouts featuring places in the world I want to visit. ^^;
Other things (to fill up space; I archived ^^): Reorganized the sidebar, almost stepped on my glasses a few moments ago because I never put them back in their case -_-; ... Oh, Flipper, I don't know if you'll be able to read this, but good luck with your studying! You'll do wonderfully! (Is that a word? I can't remember anything today @.@)
I was just about to say that I'm looking forward to the long weekend (Thanksgiving); unfortunately I have 3 large assignments to do then. So never mind. ;_; Once again, the only person who is still happy & perky among my friends is the German exchange student! I hope another month of school won't make her change her view on life... ^^x
