// Thoughts gone rotten. // Wednesday, August 15, 2007
A phone conversation between the wife and the husband, one night ago...
Me: B, what have you been up to?
Him: Rotting and eating rotten food.
Yeah, that's how much the hubby is loving his reservist. Everything is pretty rotted, rotten and rotting to him. And in the midst of the rotten-ness, the hubby suddenly finds simple phone conversations with the wife VERY APPEALING. The hubby suddenly finds the wife VERY FUNNY. :)
Akin to my hubby, my days have been equally rotten too. It sucks to go home after a very long day at work without well, someone to talk to. No, don't get me wrong. The daughter is doing a really fine job so far entertaining me with her frolics, but without the hubby's presence, something is just...amiss. How sad. How very sad.
Time check: 6.45 a.m. in the morning. And my hubby is off for his reservist in-camp training for the next three weeks. In other words, I am husband-less while Sharleez is daddy-less for the next three weeks. In presence, that is. Definitely not in title. We are so going to miss him. I even forced Sharleez to wake up just so that she could be forced to wave goodbye to her Daddy. That made the daddy happy. I couldn't be happier! sadder! But its okay. A man's got to do what a man's got to do. Riiighht.
Daddy Tatek, we are hoping to see you this weekend. We do not care, we must see you! We must love you, kiss you, hug you, cuddle you! (Private joke.) Never mind the fact that the weekend consists of two miserly days. I mean, that's better than not seeing you at all. That's better than nothing.
Aiyah. Sian. Siong. Song.
I told you I hated the colour green!
:(
And I hate the colour blue on Mondays.
