:: Is age really nothing but a number? :: Saturday, November 25, 2006
To my dearest Tatek,
I am sorry for a lot of things...
I am sorry as this year's celebration is not like what you had expected it to be. I am sorry as I do not have expensive gifts for you. I am sorry as all your gifts have been diah-made, not diah-bought. I am sorry as all my money has been spent on the little one's stuff.
I hope for a lot of things...
I hope you will be contented with what I have humbly prepared for you this time round. I hope you will be stirred by this birthday entry. I hope you will be overwhelmed by the two birthday cards I have made for you, one written by me personally , and the other one decently written by all of us. I hope you will be bowled over by the private birthday party I have planned for you. I hope you will be happy with my little treat come tomorrow. I hope you will be able to wait patiently for the 12th as that's only when I can get a proper birthday gift for you. (2.2 months bonus, mah!?)
And thank you Tatek for moving me to close tears when you said, "B, you have already given me the best birthday gift ever. Little S."
I couldn't have asked for a better half.
With that...
Age is nothing but a number.
In your case Tatek, 27 is just a number. A VERY BIG number.
No big deal, yes?
'-'
Love you so very much, OLD man!
With love,
Your wife

:: The Party Planner. :: Sunday, November 19, 2006
For the next few days, I will switch on to my party planner mode ala the famous David Tutera. I must make certain that someone has the perfect birthday party even though that someone is well, not that young anymore to begin with. That someone is turning 27 on the 25th of November but I am sure you will agree with me if I say that that someone looks babyish forever and a day.
Want to know who that someone is?
My Tatek lah, who else?!!
:)
Tatek, you must wait till Saturday before I reveal all the surprises, one by one.
I am sure you will be flabbergasted, boy!

:: An excellent PEACE. :: Sunday, November 19, 2006
I have really grown so much as a teacher with my current class, 1 Peace. Along with that, I've seen them blossom from thirty kids into thirty unique individuals. Truly I am blessed to have been given this class of angels this year, and I am again blessed to be able to have them again next year, right after my maternity leave. Dare I say it, I couldn't have been given a better class than this. Honestly!
That said, the last two weeks of school was a delight, no matter how busy we all were. It was almost as if I didn't want the last day of school to approach. Almost, but I ended up heaving a great sigh of relief on the last day of school!
During the second last week of school, all the Primary 1 pupils had their Swimming Carnival. We even had a cheering competition, just so that the non-participants wouldn't feel left out and bored rigid.

During the last week of school, we had our 'Stand and Deliver' performance, where Primary 1 and 2 pupils were given the opportunity to showcase their speech and drama skills.
My class did 'Go Home, Goldie', an adaptation of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. And I had prepared these beforehand.
Look at them cheeky faces on the actual day of the performance.

Good job, 1 Peace! I am really proud of all of you.

Goodbye for now, kiddos. I will miss you but I promise to be back next year, ok?

That hot black seat of mine wouldn't be left unoccupied for long.

:: Check this out. :: Saturday, November 18, 2006
This entry is way overdue. Remember I wanted to update about my visit to Sherwood Towers?
Now, I finally can because phew, phew, phewwwwww, holidays are here! No more teaching for the next three to four months, for me at least. And it will also depend on how early or late Little S wants to make her appearance to the world. Insya'allah. Do you want to be a December baby or a January genius, darling? :)
Ok ok. Let's really move on to Sherwood Towers, and hot, cute and beautiful girls. With that, I shall leave it all now to Miss Nyla and her beautiful pictures. After all, there were so many things she wanted me to check out during my visit.
Ok checked, Nyla!
Not much of a cleavage there yet, though. I was pretty disappointed. You might want to show me your cleavage again in say, 13 years time?
Ok checked, Nyla!
You don't try to be a little trickster here, ok?
That 'big' butt is 80% thanks to your diapers!
Tsk tsk tsk.
Ok checked, Nyla.
Your back is very fair and sexy indeed, just like your Mummy's. But Nyla, can you check out something for me? Who is that equally sexy girl in the background? She looks suspiciously familiar.
Ok checked, Nyla!
Nice pair of hot red Crocs. But give me the honour of revealing your secret. You were actually thinking of following us back home, right? Too bad the furthest you could go was to the lift. To bid us farewell.
Kwa kwa kwa.
Ok enough of checking Nyla out. Next up are some tips from Nyla. This Nyla is really something, I tell you.
 Oh really, Nyla? What about big butterfly tops??!! I made a complete fool out of myself by wearing that once, you know?
 Ok Nyla, I shall try posing for the camera with my white maternity undies!
And my personal favourite is this!
 I have already placed this picture of yours in my hospital bag, Nyla. You are truly my inspiration.
Seriously now, thank you Nura and Nyla for being such gracious hosts to us.
The nasi lemak was greater than great. It had to be greater than great, since I had four helpings! (Oni and Raihan too!!!)
Thanks Oni for that excellent piano piece.
And of course, thanks Tatek for falling asleep at Nura's and putting me to great shame! Pfft.
Luckily for you, you were forgiven almost instantly. One, because of the fact that you were straight from work and you did not have any sleep the night before. Two, because of this infectious smile of yours right after committing that 'crime' of yours.
Oh wait! Where's my picture?
Kwa kwa kwa.

:: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! :: Monday, November 13, 2006
Never have I felt this drained before, what with the last week of school and the rushing of mainly administration matters like the keying of SA2 results, the entering/editing of SA2 remarks, the compiling of desk copies, the returning of books/files/worksheets to dear pupils, the clearing up of the classroom, the clearing up of the workspace, the incessant running through for Wednesday's drama presentation, and the list goes on. It's neverending, I tell you!
Can die man!!
To quote my daddy, "Lembu pun boleh mati!" (read: Cow also can die!)
Today, I was so full of activity in school I did not even have time to urinate, what more have a proper break! I had anticipated the last week of school to be hectic, but never did I expect it to be THIS hectic! And to think it is only the first day of the week!
Oh well, 4 more days of uphill struggle, I guess.
And you know what? I am trying my very best here to keep up and I do hope Little S will compromise and cooperate with her busy mummy. Hang on there for just a bit more, darling. :(
I'll be back when I'm up to it, alright.
Now time to continue with the making of props for Wednesday's drama. Told you its neverending!
But I am not complaining.
Riiiight.
