Sorry my non-Malay friends, but this entry is 90% in Malay. I won't translate this time round because the jokes are funnier in Malay, I feel. You'll see. If you understand Malay, that is! Smirk, smirk.
Nurul and I were shoe hunting online when I saw this pair of gorgeous but very impossible to wear heels.
I sent it to her with this msg,
"Ni kalau pakai darah kat kaki mesti tak jalan."
Next she replied,
"Nie kalau pakai hari raya, by the time u bukak kasut,
dah time to go home dah. Kena ikat balik."
Then I replied, this time round in caps as I was uncontrollably excited already.
"KALAU NAK TUMPANG BERAK KAT RUMAH ORANG NAK BUKAK KASUT NI MESTI SAMPAI TAIK TERMASUK BALIK TERUS KELUAR DARI MULUT!!!"
Hua hua.
Our conversations online are never serious. Always ridiculous. Always mirthful. Always uproarious.
That's why we are best of friends. :)
P.S: Now, now, don't go emailing me immediately asking/begging me for the URL of the shoe website hokay. We shoe-hop from one website to another. Period.

Perchance, I experienced my first ever Braxton Hicks contraction yesterday. My tummy area felt so tight all of a sudden. I couldn't stand. I could't move. It was so uncomfortable till I had to skip assembly and get my colleague to take over my class. And I slouched my way slowly to the staff room like a hunchback. I hope nobody spotted me in my most horrible state.
Now I know what a Braxton Hicks contraction is. I used to think Braxton Hicks was the name of an old country singer, hokay? And since I was not pregnant then, I did not bother to find out. But now I am pregnant. Now I must know. Braxton Hicks contractions are named after British gynecologist, John Braxton Hicks.

Want to know how a contraction feels like?
In one word, 'Ouuchh!'
And mind you, we have not even gone into true labour contractions yet!
Yikes. I dare not imagine.
I can imagine Hady Mirza as the idol this year, though!
