I woke up as early as 5.30 am this morning just so that I could get myself ready for my detailed scanning and gynae's appointment at KKH. I spared Sharleez the torment of waking up so early, and only got her up an hour later. Urghh, it is getting more difficult to wake her up nowadays. I had to switch on the TV to Playhouse Disney in order to really wake her up. Plan was successful. Tatek was on the night shift, and reached home just in time. This time round, we managed to leave the house by 7 am! We were at KKH by 7.45 am! We were too early it seemed because when we reached the ADC, it was still locked and the nurses were practically waiting by the corridor. Lol.
The detailed scan today was much faster and bearable, as compared to the previous one. Could it be because the one doing the scan today was the CHIEF supervisor? It was seriously so much shorter, like about half an hour shorter! Sharleeez was also more controlled today. Tatek was feeding her with grapes throughout the whole scanning process, and that really tamed her. She LOVES grapes and basically anything you call a fruit. So the next time you see her, do not even dream of bribing her with sweets. Give her fruits! A big basket of fruits! :)
Okay, let's focus now on the twins. After all, Sharleez cannot keep stealing the limelight! The CHIEF supervisor told me that the twins are now at 1.8 kg and 1.7 kg respectively. If my memory serves me right, twin A is the heavier one. Twin B, on the other hand, has always been the more active one. I am just so glad that they are both already reaching the 2 kg mark. Alhamdullilah. We finished the scan at about 9 am, but our appointment with Dr Tham was only at 10.05 am! Tatek told me to just try going to the Private Suite to see whether I could bring forward my appointment by an hour. Of course we could! After all, we are talking about the Private Suite here. The nurses are always ever so ready to help! :) Although the Private Suite was really packed, I did not have to wait for long to see Dr Tham. He was really pleased with the results of my scan today. Twins' positions are good. Both heads are already down. Twins' weight are good. Not too light and not too heavy. Blood flow is good. Waterbag level is good.
ALHAMDULLILAH.
And Dr Tham has finally said it out loud. "Since both heads are already down, we are going all natural! Forget C-Section for now."
Even though I do not need to go for further detailed scans by right, my gynae still insists that I keep going for them till my due date. "With twins, we cannot afford to take the risk. Must always check their progress, hor!" he said.
Ya hor! Cannot afford to take the risk.
My next detailed scan and appointment is only on the 28th of August. By then I would approximately be in my 35th week already.
Wow.
Insya'allah, the twins and I will go all the way.

Happy 26th Birthday, Mama Aan!
I made a card just for you. The card reads MAMA AAN, can you see that? Okay fine, I cheated a bit. Mummy was holding my hand firmly just so that I could write Mama Aan on the cover of the card. But hey, I did the rest of the card all by myself, you know?!

And while everyone else was busy taking pictures and eating, I was busy brushing up on my penmanship and colouring skills. You cannot possibly expect me to be interested in the food they were eating right? The food just looked so.. poisonous.
As you can clearly see, I was not at all interested in posing for the camera, unlike Mummy. Mummy looked like a clown that day with her super red maxi dress with colourful polka dots. This pregnancy is doing wonders to Mummy, I think. I did not exactly know how she was like when she was pregnant with me but ho, I would have kicked her tummy real hard continuously if she had worn something like this! But hey, no matter what she is still my Mummy and I heart her to bits. :)
And ho, who said I could escape from the camera forever? At the end of the day, like it or not, I still had to pose for a family picture. Oh bother!
Lastly, thank you Mama Ili for that super red lipstick on my face!
Adults. They are just so weird sometimes.

Its 2 am in the morning, I cannot sleep as usual, and so here I am, trying to create the sweetest birthday entry for the sweetest person alive. I should not try too hard, and just type whatever that comes from the heart. It should not be that difficult, I reckon. :)
