I tried keeping a journal at the beginning of summer.
Not anything fancy. Typed, formatted, planned out. Scheduled.
But then I found myself falling behind after a brief few days, and wondered why the motivation from last year wasn't kicking in.
Didn't I want memories? Didn't I want to savor the moment? Didn't I want some pretense towards nostalgia?
