resolve gone aray

Now that I've resolved to write more in my blog, Pitas always seems to be down when I need it. Sigh. I do have a new layout. Hopefully I can get it up and running tonight:)

And Lika I will send you that email later. I don't have access to the information from here at work.

I have to write a short bio of myself for work purposes. I totally blanked out. Erg.

Anyway, looks like I'm losing in the CFFML awards. Sniffies. S'okay, even Shakespeare wasn't appreciated in his own time. Heh.

I got an idea for a Karen fic. (I think I'm sick of writing Subaru, poor kid). I'll let you all know if anything actually comes of it...

bounces...I'm at work. I have an office! And I'm writing in my blog.

Anyway, Kerianne, I don't think this is bad news at all:) Since, well I've been obsessed with this guy for quite some time. Only way to make it any better is if they can get Peter Wingfield in there somehow. It's the accents, I think. Scottish and Welsh...yum.

And you're right, I should write in here more. Maybe if I talk about my X fanfic, I'll actually get around to writing it. That and my novels. I have a trilogy in my head that's dying to get out. Only problem with my original works is that I have to edit out the shonen-ai.

New Years...

Wow, Ammie I had forgotten you get to celebrate New Years a day earlier:) It's not even New Year's Eve yet here...

I have an idea for an X fanfic. This is good because I've spent the last month suffering from severe X writer's block.

Of course, now that I get this great new idea, I start reading Philip Pullman's the Golden Compass. And it's wonderful! I was so afraid that after spending over a year reading just short fanfics and library journal article that I wouldn't be able to enjoy a novel. I'm glad I was wrong.

Oh and Lika I read something interesting on the concept of hell not being an actual place. (I don't want to post the entire paragraph here, but if you're interested I'll email it to you... heck, I'll email it to anyone who's interested...)

And on a completely frivilous note...I have become obsessed with Highlander again. Sigh. I'm considering taking up fencing again (I almost typed, "taking up my sword again";)

Hi. I'm back. (Does ANYBODY read this?). Where was I? Working on the last few papers in grad school.

As soon as I hand them in, I am officially graduated. I am a real Librarian, with a capital "L".

I can write fanfic again.

Thank you Satsuki-chan for fixing my blog! I was getting so frustrated with the whole thing I just wanted to give up!

In other news, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Ok, so I'm a day early, sue me:) Even those of you who don't live in the U.S. it's still a good time to reflect and be glad for all the good things in our life. (Hmm, when did I get so cheery? Could it be, the possibility of all that yummy food I'm going to be eating tomorrow?)

Okay, it's crooked, I know. I've been trying ALL day (sob!) and I still can't get it to look right! I hate you HTML!!!

Sorry, Ammie I still think a 24 year old with a 10 year old is kinda gross. I can respect the sweetness in the comic, but I wouldn't condone that kind of thing in real life.

I wanted to talk about Harry Potter, and how my boyfriend was upset they took out the potions scene (despite having oh, everything else in the dang book:) It was very enjoyable, and yet, I still didn't like it as much as I did the book. Call me old school:)

And yes, I loved Wood's accent as well. Reminded me of my dear Obi-Wan's...
