WHAT is that song played in the background of the Benjamin Button trailer? Its always in the dramatic movies..maybe a Keira Knightly movie.
So jury duty on monday was NOT what I hoped it would be. they didnt pick me for the jury because I had to go back to school on the 5th and they said the case was going to take longer than that. ah geez. but they named off witnesses and we had to raise our hand if we knew the person. Miss Popular sitting next to me knew EVERYONE. gahd. then we did a Q&A with the prosecution and defense, 30 min each. A lot of people complained that they had plane tickets/ didn't want to be there/ christmas and all. Every other person said the phrase "financial hardship" like thats their ticket out. excuses excuses. ok sure yeah i believed some of them but there was one guy who was the head of his architect firm, and he said he would not be able to make it. vague much guy? the judge asked him if it would cause him financial hardship to miss a couple days and he just said "that's indeterminate". ass.
I was waiting for someone to admit they could read minds but the closest we got to a crazy was one old man who flat out pointed and told the defendant she was guilty. he was out of there faster than ... a journalist can throw both shoes? :/ i know, i know..
oh! no sign of J either. i wonder what happened..
