[EDIT: 0144PM]
I <3 Paper Planes! Why I didn't have it b4, idk! I'm going to buy the CD.

My FIG leader announced this thing we might be doing next week. She wanted to do a show-and-tell with songs. Idk. It sounded interesting. We did the high and low thing, too. I said my low was my midterm (which, of course, I didn't finish) and my high was I downloaded a really great song today (see above).

And to respond to Monica's comment, I vote someone else drive because 1) I'm on the way to Poulsbo = easy pick up, easy drop off, and 2) If I drive and drop you guys off after the movie, then I'll have to drive home alone, and Ik I'll be hella scared. IJAF!

l8rs!
Regal Poulsbo: 145, 435, 715, 950

Regal Silverdale: 115, 405, 655, 940

jsyk, I get a free ticket, so I vote Poulsbo. :)

Why Yesterday was October Hell, and Why Today Will Be Slightly Better As Soon As I Get Me A Frackin' ROCKSTAR/Red Bull/I'm-Going-To-Make-Your-Heart-Explode Beverage

Yesterhell
- Music midterm, which, yes, should be "considerably" easy since the class is "considerably" easy. Go eff youself. Anyway, I felt I did alright in my standards, but I can't believe I blanked on the ragtime song.
- Lab due! And I finished at 11:55, only realizing that I did it completely wrong, attempt to fix it, but ended up writing a post-script at the end and then running to Bagley for my 12:30 lab. Then realizing that I'm not late at all, because my TA is slow as HALE to let us in.
- I tripped over my TA's foot, WHILST (while?) carrying a jar of TOXIC CuO. And then my TA telling me he wasn't trying to kill me (my TA, who, by the way, told us the first time we met him that he pretty much "doesn't give a fuck." Well, tippy canoe and tyler too, you little ray of sunshine.)
- Walking back to dorms, a LEAF actually SLAPPED me in the FACE. Side slapped, not slabbed right in front of me. Swiped my left cheek like some bitchy Southern Belle!
- Got a headache on the ferry back to home sweet home.
- Mother and I waited 10 minutes just to get out of the ehffing roundabout near the hotel thing.
- TOOK AN HOUR LONG RIDE to get back home. Ehffing winds! WTF! GTFO! Stupid Bremerwhore for not having their electricity lines underground. Stupid.
- 30 Rock was funny, but weird, and slightly offensive. It must have just been today ruining my comedies for me.
- Office made me feel weird.

Today
- I got to eat breakfast.
- I uploaded most of my Radiohead songs onto my Mac.
- FIG is cancelled AGAIN because leader is sick. (Good for me, bad for her)
- I'm going home today.

And that's it.

my weekend in seattle
Kelsey | Sunday, October 7, 2007
Ok so during lunch at By George, I had a pleasant surprise when this came on mtvU:

it feels weird listening to it.

so yesterday morn around 8:30ish Nick and I Metroed all the way to Coleman park, which is a little southeast of Downtown, by Lake Washington. there we met up with 7 other freshmen from different classes. we planted things, I was incharge of the strawberry vines. then we covered the ground with mulch. it wasn't that bad, I got 4 hrs of community time over with.

Also last night.. there was a killer dance party at McCarty, well it was not so killer until Ryan, Kevin, Nadine, and I showed up (and Dara later on). Really, college?! I mean really?! A college dance is just like high school. They played sooo many bad songs, but they did play Britney! And I danced with this strange guy in a disco suit, to the tune of “Tell Me When to Go”. so it was a good time.

Oh, Seattle.
Misha | Thursday, October 4, 2007
Things I saw in downtown today:

+ Sanjaya in his car. No, Ryan, I am not racist. It was Sanjaya. Why would I make something like this up? Anyway, someone was driving him. It looked like his sister, but I couldn't see her that well. Anyway, he did not look as happy as he does in all of his pictures. HAHA! I saw him, and then it registered in my mind that it was Sanjaya! So, I kept looking, and he saw me (and I think he knew I was trying to figure out who he was), and I wanted to tell Reslyn before they turned the corner (they were making a free right turn), but I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of being a ~celebrity~ because he really shouldn't be. But you know what, I should have because then probs would given a friendly wave, and Reslyn would have seen. And now no one will believe me. Oh, well. It's just Sanjaya!

+ Guy who went to our high school posing as a homeless person. He had a job at Subway last year. Con artist!

The Boy Least Likely to Be Gentle with Me
Mariela | Tuesday, October 2, 2007
I'm sorry guys--I've been in college for 6 weeks now and I haven't posted a thing. Anyway, congratulations! I'm so excited for you guys! I imagine UW to be amazing.

My experiences so far are as detailed, in chronological order:

1. Missed an opportunity for an ice cream social (not as embarrassing as a "fro-yo" social)

2. Explored downtown several times. Getting the hang of the transit system.

3. Had dinner with the scholars and Faculty. Amazing people. Found out the Dean of the College of Ethnic Studies has the same last name as me. My brazen mother jokingly inquired as to whether he was her long lost uncle. Oh, Uncle Ken.

4. Took care of drunk friends/consoled someone in their sad, drunk breakdown. Puke is just the beginning of a career in nursing. Washed toothpaste out of the hairbrush my roommate proceeded to use as a toothbrush.

5. Spent a day driving along the beautiful coast in the fog to get to the retreat location at which the Presidential Scholars would spend three hours on the ropes course. Sorry to brag, but I'm proud of myself for finishing that thing. I was the only one to do so. I was also the only little Asian girl (lame) and my professor (such a sweetie, the awesomest) admitted he didn't think I'd be able to do it. After that, we bought coffee with the University's money, then drove down to Half-Moon Bay to build sand castles. Slightly warmer at this point. Our professor was so proud of us that he let us buy a ten-dollar prize from the General Store, again with University money. Beautiful coastline.

6. Went to a Jack Kerouac reading. On the way home at night, got lost for a few hours and in doing so was able to experience seeing the Golden Gate all lit up at night for the first time.

7. Saw SCISSORS FOR LEFTY, mind they were playing with the Bravery, but whatev. They rocked and I touched them!

8. Went to San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. GREAT exhibit. Saw an ice car.

9. Saw ANIMAL COLLECTIVE. Trippy as hell.

10. Went to a gourmet luncheon with the Dean of Undergraduate Studies.

11. Joined SCISSORS FOR LEFTY street team.

12. Got my California ID at the DMV. It came too late and I couldn't see Arctic Monkeys and Voxtrot at this club called Pop Scene.

13. Missed Lovefest. :( but it's ok.

14. Have all As so far BUT I think I failed my Asian American History quiz. Oh well.

15. Got hired at Bath and Body Works at the mall next door an hour ago.

Pictures to come when I find a camera to borrow :)

P.S. Everyone at this school is an indie kid. Oh, San Francisco. Also, everyone in my dorm has a Beatles poster (!) and my roommates have amazing record collections. I'm jealous.

That's my schdule. It looks like crap. Also, on Mondays I'll probably go study at Pink after my last class until lunch time. Tuesdays I'll go to Salmon between my classes. Wednesday I'll go to Rose between my last morning class until lunch. Or maybe after lunch. And on Friday I'll go to the ick after my last class until whenever.

Yes, those are codes. WINK.

And Mariela should take pictures of her apartment, since it's the only crib I haven't seen of the Old Boys.

What is the ferry everyone is taking tomorrow? I'll probably just say a time and won't go, like I did last time. HAHA. Apparently I have to buy a lab manual and it wasn't even on my list. Ugh, I don't understand textbook shopping.

Also, I kind of want it to be a semi-daily ritual to go to the IMA. Or downstairs on the ground level. Shed the stress and the calories! Who wants to be my workout buddy? I mean, why nap? They only leave you restless at night. It's horrible. Naps are horrible.

First Day of College!
Ryan | Wednesday, September 26, 2007
Well, today was fun!

12:30 pm - 1:50 pm Perspective Class! My professors were funny and they had alot of corny jokes, which I'm sure everyone knows I happen to appreciate. This class is so ~*fascinating*~! It's just profound the things that we discuss, or rather will discuss. One of the most brilliant things was the whole "horizon" of perspective notion and the difference between wandering and travel. Another was that robots already reproduce and have self-thinking systems, that humans enable it, thus being "genitals" for them. Ka-ray-zee!

2:30 pm - 3:50 pm Well, Eva and Michelle, two FIG friends went down to the ave to eat before class, but we ended up talking so much and having so much fun that we lost track of time and Michelle was like "uh, we're going to that Art class, right? Well, it's 2:32..." HAHA and I just BOLT leaving my half-eaten mackeral steak (we were at Yummie Bites) and rice on the table. We book it, all the while coming up with good reasons we were late (helped an old lady cross the street, a sudden earthquake that happened only at our exact area, we got into a street fight between rival gangs, etc) and we rush to the room, arrive 13 minutes late and awkwardly made it to the back of the lecture hall. No big deal, really and we didn't get into trouble, though doubtless our instructor was annoyed. Fun class, though. Nicole R. was there too!

I'm going home Friday! Meesh, Kels, which one of you would want me to go with them less? HAHA oh, you guys! You know we all get along famously!

Ryan

My mouth taste like purple.
Monica | Wednesday, September 26, 2007
Nerf. Today, woke up at 7:30. The bathroom is filled with female zombies with their bathroom products. Not fun. So weird. Anyway, got ready. My roommate was still asleep. Went downstairs, met with Andrew, who introduced me to some girls from the 6th floor. We all walked out together after I got a croissant sandwich and Iced Tea (which I planned eating before class). I also called Kelsey, but she didn't answer. But when I checked my phone when I got to the building, I had a missed call! The woes of phones with quiet vibrations!

0830-0920 AMERICAN POPULAR MUSIC: I sat at the end for a while, but someone was going to pass through, so I just moved further into the middle of the row. Boo. Anyway. I still don't have my ehffing textbook. I'll try checking at B&N tonight. Also, we have to go to a concert and write about it. Just like Julius' class! But it has to be this quarter, and IDK what to go to... that's ALL AGES. BOO. My sister suggests I borrow her ID. Melody, we don't all look the same. HAHAHA. What a racist! Speaking of racists, where were you, Kelsey? Anyway, the profs played some music and we had to guess who it was, what is was callled, what year it was recorded. Etc etc. The kid who sat beside me put away his notebook and started tapping his hands on his knees at the second song (Archies - Sugar, Sugar, 1969-- HAHAHA). Elvis, Archies, The Bangles, Kanye West. I got the first 3 because I have them on iTunes. Last one I knew only because Rainn Wilson & Kanye sang it at the Emmys. HAHAHA. I need to listen to some recent pop music.

0930-1020 CHEMISTRY: Bo-ring. I wish the room wasn't so dark or else I'm going to fall asleep! Also, he did the same experiment they did at our A+O. Snooze. Yes, I know the H2O one will be the loudest bang. As soon as prof said his goodbyes, I got up to leave, but then one of the Head TAs went up to talk, so I sat back down. HAHAHA embarassing. Oh well, whattayagondo?

Went to room. Decided to go home early. I need to buy some new jeans. -___________________- Roommate, her friend who left her towel in our room, and the guy who spent a night in our room came in and watched Ginger Heads. Sigh. The whole year, huh? Whatever. I liked EFS roomie better. At least she has a fridge to share. I. am. selfish. On the ferry, it was ferry pretty. HAHAHA. Also, I saw a sea lion/otter/seal in the water and it was leaping through the air! I tried to record it, but the shot is really crappy so it looks like a dot jumping in front of a blue background. Oh well. I also put my earphones to the mic on my camera and recorded the light reflecting off the water towards the ceiling. I am just. this. bored. Then I fell asleep. Then Misha texted me, waking me up.

Might come back tonight or tomorrow morning. (4:50 ferry; if i take the 6:20 ferry, I might be late for Music. BOO for having class at 8:30! This is a shitty schedule. I should get a job.)
Monica

Day 1
Kelsey | Wednesday, September 26, 2007
8:30-9:20 American Popular Music: we listened to Elvis Presley-All Shook Up, The Archies- Sugar, Sugar, The Bangles- Walk like an Egyptian, Kanye West- Stronger. And they played the whole song except not for Kanye because that was too long. Also for that class we have attend 1 popular concert and analyze it. How cool. After class I met Nick from Wisconsin/FIG 105, and we had free bagels, milk and grayish Odwalla liquid. (Monica: when you called I thought it was my alarm, so sorry/thanks.)

11:30 Astronomy: there is a way cool pendulum in that building (PAB). Apparently that class is comparative planets, not stars and whatever else is in space.

1:30 University Community: I met Tom also in FIG 105. Icebreaker: we broke into groups based on paper color, but it was only Nick and I since we both chose creamed corn color, so I haven’t really met the others yet.

So it was fun, just a lot of free time in between. I wish it were one after another, to get it out of the way. Oh yeah did you guys listen to that free This Calling sampler, its more terrifying than System of a Down. Also if you don’t want any stickers I’ll take them off your hands.

First Day of College
Misha | Wednesday, September 26, 2007
0930-1020AM I'm so glad that my Intro to International Relations class is huge. And I sat in the back with two other Fig 39 people. However, tomorrow is the smaller class, which is used for discussion. Blerg!

On my way back to my room, these girls stopped me to give me information about an "Asian-based" sorority. They then told me that the Asian sororities don't have actual houses, and they have to live in the dorms! And the girl sounded so happy. I'd be so bitter. They better fight for a house. HAHA. Anyway, no I'm not joining a sorority.

1230-0120PM French class! And my teacher (professor? HAHA) is actually French! Her accent is so cool. HAHA.

Tomorrow, I have class from 0830-0920, and 1230-0120. I feel like my schedule is empty. Maybe I'll talk to an advisor.

PPS. You all should write about your first day, too.
Misha

Dorms, Day 02
Misha | Sunday, September 23, 2007
I'm so lucky that no one was in the bathroom when I was taking a shower. Ugh. I'd rather shower at Banana Bungalow! I went back up to brush my teeth, and 48398439 girls were there. wtf. 130AM is teeth-brushing time?

I also 'met' one of my neighbors a couple of minutes ago. And there is some sort of loud even going on. Is it at the art museum place across from Schmitz? I can hear a DJ.

What's up, doc?
Monica | Tuesday, September 18, 2007
Blah blah. Today we went to the planetarium and there was this big pendulum and I asked some Boot Campers if it was perpetual due to some electromagnets. And some kid was like: "No, it's due to gravity and the megnetic pull of the Earth's movement." And I was like -___________- "Wouldn't it eventually die down, then?" I asked. And he was like: "Yeah, that's why they set it back again once and a while." So I asked: "So, they could use magnets to make it swing forever?" And he's all: "Yeah, but that would be cheating." HOW DARE THAT INSOLENT CHILD TRY TO UP MY PHYSICS-KNOWLEDGE! Californian! (sry, Mariela. HAHAHA). Anyway, earlier this week, during Math prep, the tutor asked what second deriv meant in physics and I said acceleration. HAHA, YA BURNT! Anywho, the astronomy program sounds interesting. Physics, y'all! So, if you're interested, click here for more info!

So. Finished my math homework (integrals and the chain rule, ftmfw!) at the IC. Went to dorm. Watched CNN at Lander's TV lounge. HAHA. It was about some kid at John Kerry's thingamajig. IDK. Then some guys came in w/ food and I left to let them watch whatever they wanted. Because I'm nice. And I hate people. College people > High school people. IJAF. HAHAHAHA.

Went to Metro theatre, got a ticket for Shoot Em Up. $8.25 for student. WTF. Remember the time when movies cost 5 dollars? Or even 50 cents?! Boy, it's crazy to think we used to collect coins to catch a flick at the drive-ins. Different time, the 60's. HAHAHA. I <3 30 Rock.

ANYWAY. What a boy movie. Seriously, I need to see a new chick flick or SOMETHING. Boy movies / kids movies are all I see these days. I need to watch a good, quality chick flick. For chicks. A new one, not one I've seen before. I need to swoon. I need to cry. I need to want to gorge on boxes of chocolates. I need to pacify my estrogen. And simply reading Twilight (the most young-adult-chick-lit book I've ever read in my life. So far.) does not help. Visual aid, plz. And I don't see Bella as Emily Browning, sry2say. I see a young Anne Hathaway, as much as I hate to admit. Eh. I'll just force my image of her to change, then. And Gaspard Ulliel works for me :)

Also, about Shoot 'Em Up. I got some motifs and allegories and allusions in my head. HAHAHA. Frankly, I like it when I notice those things. Makes me feel like I'm using my mind grapes. Like Clive Owen as Bugs Bunny and Paul Giamati as Elmer Fud, especially noticing when Clive eats carrots and Giamati's ring tone is like Liz Lemon's: Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit!-song. HAHAHA. Don't worry. I didn't ruin the movie for you, so shut up.

UW STUFF
- Someone from the IC told me that the way financial aid works to pay for books is that the college will put money into your card (whichever direct deposit you put the aid into) and you'll use it to buy money. But she also said that usually the money comes in late, so she buys it with her own money and then later on she'll just have the financial aid money in her card... for other things that she would have used her own money for. Comprende? IDK. Use your own money, I guess.
- Also, in order to register for the tutorial sessions for Math and Chemisty, you will need an entry code.

Anyone want to let me borrow some chem notes tomorrow night?

ps. Horace Slughorn revealed!! How come no one said on ONTD? You should get on that, friend. Also, why is the OotP DVD come out on Dec 11 in the US, while it comes out Nov 12 in the UK? RUDE!

Emmy Watch is my crack. All. Day. Long.
Monica | Sunday, September 16, 2007
Current Favorite Word:
HAHA, YA BURNT!
Ugh, I hate this Fox format of the Emmy's. Not classy. Do not want. Looks like high-class American Idol. Do not want. FOX? Do not want hosting the Emmy's. Or the Oscars. Or the Golden Globes. Stick to your primetime dramas. And they suddenly cut off Ray Ramono's speach. And I don't even know why he's talking. Maybe because Seacrest isn't funny? IDGI!
Watching the Emmy's right now. Felicity Huffman and WHM are ehffing cute. Cutest non-young couple. Ever. Also, TINA FEY SHOULD WIN. ftmfw.

And to Reslyn, Ryan, Kelsey, Nicole, and Misha: A THANK YOU A KIND, SUHS, FOR HELPING ME MOVE IN. It was much appreciated and I couldn't have done it without y'all. So if y'all need help moving in... I've got nothing to do that day except... maybe bootcamp. IDK. HAHAHA. But thanks anyway. You're all my homies. A girl cannot ask for more.

Finally, Kristin Bell doesn't look fug at an event! Must be a Heroes thing. HAHAHA. Well, I'm going to find my chemistry notes, finish my math and chem homework, make a test about Horseshoe Crabs (not really a crab, btw), and study about HSC. Uuuugggghhh. So tired.

ps. You know how you said Murphy Brown was nominated so much she told the academy to stop nominating her? Tony Shaloub should do that too. And he totally agrees. SPREAD THE MF LOVE, ACADEMY. TINA FEY, FTMFW! I'll be pissed for 10 minutes if she doesn't win.

What else? What else is on my mind grapes?
Monica | Tuesday, September 11, 2007
Oh my Dark Lord Voldemort. I actually have math & chemistry homework. How cruel is that? But at least I'm not getting graded or earning credits, so I can slack of a bit. But I'm gonna work, because at least I am "getting rid of the cobwebs" for actual school. YA BURNT! Any math geeks wanna help me? Just riddle me this: How do I find an equation for a line that is perpendicular to y=3x+7 and through point (8,2)? Eh. I'm totally bringing back my old math notebooks and physics notebooks. Maybe Chem if I can find them -______________-

Also, from yesterdays interesting virginal Boot Camp experience, I took some notes about which classes to take and which professors to get/avoid. OK. First of all: if you are taking MATH 120, then Barry reccomends you take either section A or B. C and E are alright choices, but avoid section D like the plague. If you are taking MATH 124, then he rec's taking Koplitz (?? Kop something)'s class (section A or B or even G, which is taught by a prof named "b'yoo"?). For MATH 126, take section F, which is Follin (?). MATH 126, you take section A or B. Also, if you are worried about your college writing, he rec's you take 104 or 105. ALSO, if you are taking math or chemistry and you feel like you want more credits, you can take MATH 197 or CHEM 198, which is just a tutorial class that is worth 2 credits. I'm probably going to drop Criminology and take those classes. He said a 300 class is the kind you want to avoid for 1st quarter. Too much work if you're not used to that kind of college learning.

Aren't you glad I did this? I'm am just a Helping Helga (Hufflepuff).

Roomie just said that today her Prof told them that their papers pretty much suck, and he met 1-on-1 with each individual to tell them what they did wrong/what to do. I should have taken THAT class to prepare me for college writing. What did I learn in my class? Oh, nothing except that people can detect an interaural phase difference, but are unable to identify the direction from which the sound originated from! BAH! My prof doesn't even have a strict guideline for the lab. Easy, but I need to prepare myself for AUTUMN! UGH.

That's right, betch! I'm black, NBC, very proud; like a peaCOCK. Isn't that right, Janet? Loyal, OBs, like a lion. Or something that's loyal. Maybe a dog. But I'm not gonna be your bitch, bitch.

ps. Some guys got busted for smoking weed yesterday. Lewzers.

So, I looked on Last.fm to see how many times the new Britney Spears song was played last week (in the 6000s, is that good or bad?) and in the comments, I found this. It's too scary to embed. HAHAHA.

Anyway, I got my international drivers permit! And question: should I download DIVX on my Mac?

BTW, what's a course reader?!

Dear Savages of the Flesh,

SALUTATIONS and good morning. Namaste for you Lost-nuts. And what up my homies to those who are down with that. ANYWAY. I am here to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry that I will be moving into my actual dorm room this Sunday! So, I ask you as a fellow Old Boy (young girl is the more accurate nomenclature): please help me move in. And as I am living in the same building as the Wonder Twins, if you two (Misha & Reslyn) would like to store things in my room until you move in on the 21st, I would be happy to accomodate.

The plan is for me to go back to Seattle on Saturday, move on Sunday, and be back in Bremerwhore/Silverslut in the afternoon for church. Then go back monday for the rest of Boot Camp-- also known as HAPPY TIMES AT THE HEALTH BUILDING. Because you know what hospitals stand for! Life! (and death)

Also, I'll ask Christy if I can have some people (perferably no more than 2) sleep over on the last night. If you guys want. Just saying. Just putting it out there.

Off to class now. Thank you and have a pleasant day.

Monica

I am in Seattle again for the weekend. And no, I am not watching Degrassi, ughhhh! Anyways, I got a Nintendo Wii today! We should have a Wii day at my house sometime! Mwuaahahaha.

Okay so no one wants to go clubbing anymore? I know $20 is pricey. So if no one wants to go, it's fine with me. But you guys got me so excited, especially when you guys were asking me what to wear . . . Well last chance, if anyone wants to go, tell me now. I have to plan the transportation stuff. Mmkssss. Later friends.

Oh wait wait. JT IS HERE, RIIIIGHT? And the VMA's are tomorrow?

I got an HFS email. females that applied after may 16th were being assigned rooms, now its females after may 20th. it took them one week to give me that update.. not a good sign. but for males it went from after June 18th to after July 7th which is better, so I hope they were just focusing on assigning the male rooms. I can't believe my application only went in on July 21st.

4PM Oh, poo. Well, after I typed that sentence, it all started to switch languages. And I when I typed "OMG" the O was a Japanese O and the rest was MG, and that's why I said HAHAHA. Anyway, shortly after I finished that, a store worker came up to me, and I think he said to get off. So I bowed/nodded and ran away. HAHAHA. Well, I didn't run away. I tried to walk off slowly, as if I wasn't embarassed. HAHA. He said Daijoubu desu ka? (Is that all right?) I nodded and looked for my mom.

Right now I'm at Monica's second home. Oh, wait. Third home? HAHA. Idk, but I'm here. Her parents took my mother and I to the grocery store! This is a very nice apartment.

I went to Harajuku yesterday. My mom's friends told us about a certain park, but I forgot the name, so I didn't get to see where all the cool kids hang out. HAHA. But there was a shrine by the station, and I went there. And there were some kids hanging around there. I saw some tourists ask to take a picture. So I decided, whatevs, why not. HAHA. And that's when I used my most complex Japanese yet. "Shashin o tote mo ii desu ka?" (is it all right if I take a picture?) They didn;t seem very social, but they said yes anyway. You should see the picture. One of the girls looks really mad. HAHA.

I think I'm going to ditch the umbrella idea. I'll just surprise you and you'll just have to be happy with it.

And no, Reslyn, the message below did not include "I haven't talked to you since last month." You beat me!

To Ryan: You sooo didn't send me your address. So I guess I'll have to send whatever I send to someone elses house.

To Kelsey: Did you get your house assignment yet?

To Nicole F.: R U still going to go somewhere during winter break? My last final is on DEC. 13. JSYK. (Just so you know? I didn't see that on ONTD, yet. HAHA.)

I'll be home on Thursday. I want half-off Coldstone. Does anyone else?!

I want to buy a bicycle. They are too cool! But I don't know if I want to take it to school. Also, there is too much food to eat here. I think I'm gaining my freshman fifteen before I'm even a freshman. -___________-

And I was watching the news and I've already missed so much! And now I miss Britney Spears' new song? WTF? ---- I`m using a computer at some department store off base.@Its@Labor Day@And@‚¨‚‚‡@iHAHAHA)@This@‚‹Eeps@‚“‚—ItcHiNg. The Degrassi Experience
Reslyn | Sunday, September 2, 2007
I spent the past two and a half days in Seattle and it was kind of boring. So boring, that I watched Noggin for a good few hours. And for the first time ever, I watched Degrassi to see what all the fuss was about. I must say, I am dissapointed. The story lines are laaame. The first episode I watched was when "Manny", the fakest filippino ever, wants to get a boob job. I don't think filippino parents would really kick out their children. That's just not filippino like! Okay, so I watched a second episode and it took me the whole episode to realize that Paige and Ashley were lesbos. They were arguing, like how normal "girl friends" argue. And then at the end of the episode, Paige was like, "Ashley and I broke up." I was like, "WTFFFFFF!" I think two guys on the show are cutiepatooties. Guess who? Wait, are there any gay guys in the show that I should know about? Overall, the show was weird. I thought that channel was like Nickolodeon, with a little exceptions; but nooo. It's like, gross. I expected better.

Today I went to Costco and saw Paris Hilton. Well her twin! There was this lady who was tall, skinny, had a perfect tan, and has the same new short hairdo as Ms. Hilton, but brown. I was like freaking out because it really looked like her. And my mom was like, "What the hell would Paris Hilton be doing at Costo, in Washington pushing carts?" True. And then . . . on the way home, the driver of the car behind us, looked EXACTLY like Mike on Desperate Housewives. I asked my mom to look at him and she did through the mirror. She said he winked at her. I was like, "Is he cute?" And she just smiled. Grosssss. Hahaha.

Anyways, I think we should totally hit the Puyallup Fair this year. Do we still get free tickets, like we did in elementary through high school? :( Craaaaap. Kelsey and Ryan! Ask your younger siblings if they can get more tickets! We all can pass as below 18, I think. Especially me. I went to buy bed sheets for college last month and the cashier lady who rung up my stuff asked my mom, "So, is your son attending college this year?" Son as in, Russell! -____- Now that is embarrassing. How am I supposed to get into clubs?

Gimme Gimme More Gimme Gimme Gimme More

HAHA The new Britney song is GOOD. Oh, Britney, ONTD made me love you again.

Related: Prefix Magazine gives a track review that's just harsh. Scroll down as hoards of people defend Britney and proclaim her as the next Messiah.

Kelsey, Bumbershoot tommorow -- Kings of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Devendra Banhart, and Andrew Bird. I'm still confused as to what you're doing.. Fergie?

Monica, where u at? If you're still at UW might we be able to spend the night at your dorm? Or probably not if your roommate doth protest. Monday we're helping you go back to Seattle? Kewl.

Misha, I'm definately sending you my address now. Forgo about that.. yeah.

Mariela, I was watching the Discovery Channel and they say if San Francisco has another earthquake, you're, like, totally doomed. Make an earthquake kit STAT.

Reslyn, they're totally gonna play "Gimme More" at the club when we all go. HECK YES. HAHA. Also: I was talking to people at camping, can more people come to the club with us? I know it's you're ~*big day*~ so I thought I'd just ask. YAY!

Nicole Filbert, if you're reading this, what do YOU think about the new Britney song? Haha

Nicole Ramirez, if you're reading this, since you're heading to Bumbershoot with your brother on Monday for Wutang, wanna ride the same ferry there?

Ryan, Keep up the good work. Haha

Ryan

In conclusion, continued economic growth, building a bridge to the 21st century, Tippy Canoe and Tyler too. Thank you, very much.

Blah blah blah. I like Weeds. The show. I am now caught up with everything. I know that Silas is a big fat funker and I'd like to castrate the hell out of him. I know I want Conrad to be my business partner. I know Nancy is so in over her head and I know that Heylia is going to kick your ass. Also: Denny has to stop dying on people. And leaving them to grieve monitarily. Life insurance, stupid. Or at least you should have left the check to Nancy and not Izzie. Izzie's a ho.

Also, if any of your have ANY covers of "Little Boxes", be it by Rilo Kiley, Regina Spektor, or even Malvina Reynolds... Send them over my way because I WANT THEM-- Even Snoop Dogg's MILF Weed.

Ladies' Choice - Zac Efron
Welcome to the 60s - Nikki Blonsky, John Travolta
You Can't Stop The Beat - Nikki Blonsky, John Travolta, Queen Latifa, Elijah Kelley, Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes
Without Love - Nikki Blonsky, Elijah Kelley, Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes
I Can Hear The Bells - Nikki Blonsky
You're Timeless To Me - John Travolta, Christopher Walken

And here's some videos that you need force-fed to you. It nourishes your pop-culture knowledge, and I'm not having people who earned an F in Kevin Bacon Movies 101 on my team!

That's one HP that I wouldn't mind being a fangirl of. Also, I did my Wiki research and apparently there is no "Prince Stephen." HAHAHAHA. I lost. Anyway, there IS a Prince Philip (Sleeping Beauty), and Cinderella's fella's name is Charming (HA), and Snow White's non-dwarf has no name. How sad. What's the male version of misogyny?
