your worst nightmare
Tuesday, April 25, 2006
i walked into 5th period math and sat at my desk. I started getting out my pencil when Mrs. Ligon says "Kelsey i had a dream about you last night, and you were yelling at me. You were saying 'this isn't hard enough, your not teaching us anything, make it harder'. It was only, specifically, you yelling at me"
I have finally reached my goal of becoming THE student teachers have troubled sleep over. I would like a gold star now, now ![]()

Dream
Friday, April 21, 2006
Every student had to give a speech about a president (any) and relate it to the seniors during their graduation. In an assembly room, dramtically lit by candles, everyone goes up to the podium and gives their speech, one after the other. My turn comes up and I'm making it up as I go because I only knew we had to do this that day. I finish and a large and in charge, menacing woman with 8 chins and dark, long hair matted like it was in a hairnet, but not, jumps from her chair and screams at me angrily, "That's not about Women's Rights!" with a righteous. crazed, almost heavenly-sanctioned fury. She then runs to the aisle with short, stuby yet quick steps, and toward the stage with her arms outstretched and fingers ready to strangle me in her floral mumu.
BTW - If you're online today, get on aim, I'll be on forever.
ZOMG!
I found my backup CD of pictures. There are FRESHMAN pictures in them. ![]() Just a note, I did not crop it, just during the time, I didn't know Kelsey was trying to get in frame, as usual HAHA. I think this looks like one of the new Marc Jacobs ads. Have you seen? "THAT'S. NOT. WOMAN'S RIIIIIGHTS!!!" HAHAHA That SAME expression is exactly what that lady was doing to me in my dream. HAHAHA No worries though, the ad campaign and the first picture are my favourites. ![]() For the duration of the picture post, 1.) Mariela won't be looking, B.) Kelsey will be trying to get in the frame and C.) Monica's hair will be fabulous ![]() HAHHAHA I love Mariela and Reslyn's reaction in this one. Misha's, again, always aware of the camera except when she's jumping (see picture 1) ![]() Like I said. Fabulous. HAHAHA This is also to make up for the group photo below, where monica is absent. Probably nursing her balloon wounds. ![]() The balloon, Monica. The Balloon. ![]() The Trick is to keep her hands occupied. Aw, I thought there were more. Oh well. Here's some other meeeemories: ![]() Monica: Is there any risk of brain damage? Misha: Well, technically speaking, the operation is brain damage, but on a par with a night of heavy drinking. Nothing you'll miss. ![]() The CD cover we made for their 90s Mature Girlgroup singing sensation at Wenatchee. Like how I got two seperate pairs in the last two? I know. Slick. EDIT (1:17 AM Tommrow) - Wow, Prime is a MUCH more depressing movie than advertised. ![]()

Entertainment Weekly, Issue #873: April 21, 2006
9:30-9:53PM The Office NBC, TV-14-DL Remember the first rule of Office Fight Club: Tell everybody. Second rule of Office Fight Club: Use skywriting, town criers, White House leaks--whatever it takes--to follow rule No. 1. (R) BOO. I should have read the "(R)" part to know it was a rerun. How MISLEADING. I was looking forward to a Fight Club episode. Oh, well. Meh. ![]()

Gigglegasp! Jane Austen novel?? siiigh The series is celebrated for being ludicrously far-fetched. How does it sustain itself? There are a couple of near escapes but, over all, my character Michael has one continuous plan you follow throughout the season. We have a number of cliffhangers in each episode which keeps the audience coming back but, even though the action is fantastic and we demand suspension of disbelief, we also have characters you can invest in and care about over the long term. Invest in? Too true (i.e. "Sara" and "Mike" and "Linc") Have you ever seen Prisoner Cell Block H? No, but I've heard of it. It's a 1970s thing, right? They were in a prison called Wentworth Detention Centre. That's a spooky coincidence. Ha ha ha. It is. I've never seen it but I'm curious. Women behind bars seems tasty enough. What? Women behind bars sounds BUTCH. What were you in when you were little? I was part of a dinosaur play in kindergarten. Everyone had to make their own costume with the help of their parents and most kids showed up with a paper bag over their heads. My father spent two weeks crafting this huge papier mâché Tyrannosaurus rex headpiece which was about half my body weight. When I tottered out on stage in front of all the parents and they burst into applause, I thought, 'There's something here'. AWWWW What underpants do you wear, asks Tat, from London. Boxers, by and large. Uh.... I don't know what to make of this information. [link] People at ONTD are so mean! :( They were all: "UGH. He's so FUG with his ONE FACIAL EXPRESSION." But someone else was like: "Regardless. That one expression is HOT." HAHAHAHA. Whatever. More for me! cap ou pas cap? Honestly? When I initially wrote it and put that up, I didn't think any of the meaning; I just wrote down something that we both knew of, so you knew it was me. But I guess you have a naughty mind, so... coughhorndogcough. Too true, that! ![]()

Mariela! did you get your cd? i wont make a new one but i just want to know if theres a problem with the rum and coca cola song, i think. and if you really want it i can send it to you.
Saturday, kiley and i fuemos a El Corazon en Seattle. We saw 5 bandos, they were: Endeavor, Breaking the Sky, Blane, This Providence, and another one. It was an okay time, except little miss asian girl throwing elbows and someone's stink breath on my neck, that was creepy. I guess the music was okay and the moshing wasn't to deadly either, i liked the guitar-dancing/rocking-out the best. Just in case you're wondering what footwear these "scenesters" prefer, it happens to be converse and vans. We did manage to see one addidas, you go girl! Prom was going on at the convention center, by the ferry. Seniors are going to be saying their final goodbyes for like a month now. It'll be tragic: "i'll see you monday" our last monday :( "wanna share my chips?" our last chips :( "Que pasa?" our last spanish talk :( how sad. ![]()

Let's do another CD. The end.
Oh. Titanic, Friday? HAHA. EDIT by Ryan! We thought of some ideas: - Song with a colour in its name - African - Classical (Full Orchestra) - Misinterpreted title (Ask misha about it 9___9) - Indian/South East Asian song, NOT Bollywood - Song from a Musical - Gangster Song covered in a Non-Gangster Genre/Style - Straight up Gangsta Song - Circus/Ragtime/Vaudeville Song - Song with 'Mom' or 'Dad' (or any variation) in its title - Song with 'Elephant' in its title - Italian - Old School Country/Folk (Johnny Cash/Emmylou Harris-esque or Earlier) - Live song, audience audible, NOT acoustic - Emo (really emo) - Toddler Friendly Song (All Ages, basically, so must be tolerable, no Muppets or whatever) - Celtic - Educational - Tango/Latin/Bossa Nova (Seperable?) - Religious (Any Religion) - Funky Song - Song that makes you wanna dance (I'm curious about Misha's choice) - Disco - Movie Theme Song - Big Band - A Hooker's Theme Song - Last song of any official C.D. (Not like a mix tape but actual albums) - Guilty Pleasure Song - Song by Mariah Carey covered by someone else - Cock Rock (AC/DC, the Knack, etc. etc.) - Elevator Music - Song with a day of the week in its title - Song with a month in its title - Song with a year in its title - Scary song - Song that you would walk in slow motion as everything else is in fast forward (HAHAHA) - Song you would start singing and look at another person and expect them to sing along.. until everyone in the room is dancing and singing happily and in the moment (HAHAHAHAHA!) - Song that would play as you reminisce about people you used to know, fondly - Song you'd play as you pack to leave for college - Song from your childhood - Apology Song - Fashion Runway Strut Song - Wedding Song - Song you know all the lyrics to (Has to be somewhat long; impress us. Include lyrics in song list) - Pirate Song - Gym Workout Song - Running Song - Sleeping Song/Lullaby - Song sung by an American Idol Contestant - Song about Space We need to reduce/edit this list, vote for your favourites in the comments! Also, any more suggestions would be nice, include them in comments also. ![]()

I'm pretty sure that my autobiography project on the artist formerly known as Prince changed my life. That said, here are my favs from misha's cd: -cement mixer('46), -Out of the Picture('56), -Lovecats('83), -Fraud in the 80s('06)
so some lessons learned: the beginning of the 20th century was not "we heart Beethoven". Most jukebox songs were made in the 60s not 50s, the exception=the king. Lastly, i can't listen to old war/march songs. i guess this is a local update. the collection is coming nicely, jajaja. ![]()

Uuuuugh. You guys wrote practically nothing. Thanks for the local update guys. Scoff. Aaaaaaaanywho. Sigh. I didn't see the preview for next weeks episode of prison break. I guess it will be a complete (or almost complete) surprise to me. That hasn't happen since October.

Actor Game
Wednesday, April 5, 2006
So it starts out with me saying:
Then someone goes into the comments and comments: Then it goes on from there. - No using the same movie in a row (like connecting Heath to Jake in BBM, then Jake to Michelle W. in BBM also) - Voice acting counts as well (Like Pat Morita - Mulan - Eddie Murphey) - No connections to people who you couldn't even connect after, such as people who are too obscure or have only acted in one movie. The last person to link in the comments wins. This can go on forever though. And that's what I want. GO, and start with Holly Hunter and connect from there. ![]()
I Want To Go So Bad!

Love how the video's colour scheme matches my icon/picture? In the meantime, download Cucurrucucu Paloma by Caetano Veloso, thanks to Motel de Moka, because there's an amazing scene in Happy Togeter while this song plays, and because this song will break your heart. It's aurally gorgeous. Watch Happy Together. Read Motel de Moka. Seriously. Amazing. ![]()
