Hey gang, what's the word? Is it 'avuncular'?
Monica | Friday, December 1, 2006
Yes. I do admit that when Misha told us that her lab group said that the last VM episode was "retarded," it was a low point in my day. Thanks for being such a Toby, Misha. But it's good news that people are watching.

But seriously-- what line of ants are they snorting?

1820 in my SATs, 36 out of 408 students, 3.809 GPA. Average Monica, you suck. And I can't believe that bitch of a PE teacher gave me a B- in ninth grade. WHAT THE HELL, LADY. It's P.Freakin' E. Also, this transcript is messed up-- they put Geometry on there twice. What the frak ever. I’m pissed off.

And there's this kid on my bus who smells so funky that it burns my eyes and makes me want to throw up all of my insides. My ovaries at shriveling up because of that nasty BO.

Darn you, school! Darn you to heck!

Misha | Thursday, November 30, 2006
7 day weekend-ish? Well, 8 for Monica and Kelsey -_____-

So, for People's Sexiest Men Alive, McDreamy was #2. Who said he'd be #1? Anyway, I tried to see who else was on there, but it's weird looking at that magazine while people behind you are watching. HAHAHA. I typed it in Google, and saw the top 15, which included Jim from The Office, Jake Gyllenhaal at #10, and Brad Pitt at #15. What else... oh. And the twins from Harry Potter were in there somewhere after 15. Shrug.

2 hour delay? No? I was hoping we'd have school today, and a snow day tomorrow. But... meh. I need there to be school tomorrow. &

PS. When I looked at the TV show section at Target, there was only one copy of Veronica Mars left. Cool, no?

NO SCHOOL! BRILL!

But does Mr. West expect us to keep up with the reading responses? I mean, he was all Wednesday night read this, Thursday night read that. I think he did that on purpose. So we'd have HW for the snow days. -___________-

Oh, shoot! Maybe it's not so brill. Because I need to register for my classes at OC and I was supposed to see my counselor today, but she didn't go to school. Then I set up an appointment for tomorrow. But.... shrug. Fine. For all your snow day news, go to http://www.cksd.wednet.edu/

Her Vocabulary Was as Bad as, Like, Whatever.
Ryan | Tuesday, November 28, 2006
This was originally a comment on Monica's post below this one, and it was so big I thought I'd just make a post. Here it is in its Wall-o'-Text entirety:

I WANT CHARLIE ALIVE! PLEEEEAAAASSEEE!!

SAVE THE TERMINALLY-ILL WAITRESS, SAVE THE WORLD!

Does that mean in the new present Sylar didn't absorb/fix/steal/eat(?!) her brain? There was not enough Claire and Zach in this episode, but I guess the Hiro+Charlie (Chiro? HAHAHA) was there to ... chiro me up. Heh heh.

Sylar does look like Brandon Routh, but I thought he looked like Jason Schwartzman, simply because Rushmore was the shizz:

JS: Hey, I like your scrubs, guy.
Guy: These are O.R. uniforms.
JS: Oh, are they?

HAHAHAHA! Also, Eden looks like Rachel Bilson (sp?) and I prefer her with the pixie haircut.

Thanks to you I LOVE Television Without Pity. The recap lady for Heroes is HILARIOUS. HAHA Moyawnder.

I think Nathan's only sneaky cause he's grown ashamed/secretive about his powers after what happened to his wife. Papa Suresh is a fool if he didn't sense Sylar's crazy. He's a clockmaker for chrissakes; if he hasn't gone mad yet, he WILL. I think Nathan's hair separates him from his brother, like, in that "I'm a rebel from my family's wishes. I have my hair mid-length" way. At least it shows that he's the cool one. Like in those "Hey, I'm a Mac!" commercials. Yep.

(BTW, for Kelsey, the colour used above is "#669933") HAHA cool.

I LAVA ME SOME HEROES!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU TWO 18-YEAR OLDS! HAVE FUN SMOKING AND ENDLESSLY PLAYING THE LOTTO!

HAHA, stupid obnoxious marquees.

Oh, and Misha, if you haven't heard, Nicole has informed me that Jake Gyllenhaal is dating Reese Witherspoone. HAHAHA, whoa.

So, my mother doesn't have the balls to go down the driveway with her precious BMW. That's the reason why I didn't go to school. And the bus? It's not an option for the morning. I hate the bus. I don't want to see other students the first thing in the morning. That's why I go to the empty math classroom in the mornings. But also to do my homework.

Anyway. Homework in Physics? Calc? English? ART??

And now, for some songs:
Happy Holidays (Beef Wellington Remix) - Bing Crosby (on behalf of Reslyn)
New Day - Kate Havnevik (the creepy-like-Air's-Run-song from Grey's)
Happy Birthday, Mar-four-ella. If you were a boy, you'd be an OLD BOY. Image hosting by Photobucket

Heroes was good. Not as good as last week, but the last half was pretty impressive. Oh, Hiro. And Sylar! What an Evil!Clark Kent! And good for not having a "Moyawnder" plotline. Also: I'm guessing Nathan = evil brother; Peter = good brother. Eventually. Maybe. Just a theory. Because Nathan always seems to be mad/vetty vetty sneaky. And Peter is just emo with good intentions. CUT YOUR HAIR (pavement).

Prison Break: Kellerman = good guy? I TOTALLY CALLED IT. He's so my new favorite character. And he's so gonna die before the season ends. I called it.

PS: VM tonight. And don't you forget it. (Perhaps my rapist-theory is right as well!)

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY, MARIELA!

In other news:
- 2 Hour Delay! Too bad I'm already awake from watching the news to see if there was a two hour delay. Khuh.
- 1721 on my SAT. Exactly 101 more than last time. HAHA.

Hydrogen and Oxygen walk into a bar and see Gold... they say Au, get outta here!

Heh heh heh.

What did the snowman say to the other snow man?

Snow Day + Final Fantasy + Mean Girls + Snowball Wars + Sense & Sensibility + Extra Homework Time + Wool Gloves + Hot Cocoa + Applications Already Submit = Happy Happy Fun Time!

Sucks for California. Haw haw.

First to come up with a corny snow joke wins.

Smells Like Christmas!
Reslyn | Sunday, November 26, 2006
I ate so much this weekend. And you know what sucks? In sports medicine this week, my teacher says we're going to have a lab where we measure our body fat percentage. Right after Thanksgiving?!?! That's just plain meeeeaaan. I hope I partner up with someone fat. :/

I leave for the Philippines in about three weeks. That means I'll be doing my holiday shopping there. Expect my holiday gifts late. Very very late.

Oh my goodness, it actually snowed today. It's not even winter yet, right? Way to go Washington. Snow in the fall. Way to break the seasonal rules. If we don't have school tomorrow, it'll be like a five day weekend. Sveeet.

So you html masters, how do you link stuff? There's these songs that I like.

Happy Holidays (Beef Wellington Remix) - Bing Crosby (I think)
Last Christmas - Savage Garden

The Gap fitting rooms has the best remixed Christmas songs ever, I swear! (:

What a pleasant surprise.

If we have no school tomorrow, Reslyn's house, 9AM? Igloos & snowmen? Ice Age 2 & John Tucker Must Die (-_____-)?

If we have a snow day tomorrow, does that mean our graduation is set back? u______u
Misha

And you think I'm repungant. Yes … Dick, yes, I do.
Monica | Sunday, November 26, 2006
Let me be the first to say that it is frrreakin' gorgeous outside. Wow, Washington. Snowing in November? You've come a long way in the past few years. Bravo. Global warming be damned (for now).

I finished Veronica Mars, Grey's, and The Office for my senior project. I don't know if the last two are a little inappropriate, but then I thought, 'What the hell!' I'm graduating (hopefully) in June anyway. And if Rude-Man lowers my grade for it, then... Be prepared to be served seriously salted popcorn. Take that as a warning.

But VM one-- the music sucks bad. I can't morph it into a smooth ride. I guess I CAN'T be a Turbo Ranger. Suuuucks!

Also, whoever made this icon made a great comment: I like House too. But Veronica gets priority. Or else she dies. And then he has to figure out how she died. Well, actually, he has to figure out why she's dying. Then IF she dies, then it's all up to CSI: NEPTUNE to figure out a crime. Because, yes, if she gets canceled it is considered a CRIME against HUMANITY... and ME.

Sing Songs So Singing Seems Super
Ryan | Thursday, November 23, 2006
I'm intent on the next cd project not to die like some other ones *coughsoundtrackcough* so I've compiled a list of suggestions we had before:

MONICA
+ DJ Peel Sessions
+ TV Show Opening Credits Song
+ Mentions An Alcoholic Beverage
+ Stuck In Your Head (ROUND TWO)
+ Played At The Last Scene/Ending Credits In The Movie About Your Life (with a thorough description!)

MISHA:
+ Foreign (Wanna be specific, Meesh? HAHA)
+ Prom Song - If Things Were Up to You
+ Song to Include in Our Road Trip
+ Song Title That Could Be Misinterpreted
+ Song Whose Lyrics You Know the Words to, Impressively.

KELSEY:
+ Song With Recipient's Name in ItSong That Brings Back a Memory(with a description)
+ Song Sung by (a) Canadian(s)
+ Song From a Scranton, PA Based BandANY Holiday Song
+ Bluesy Song
+ Song That Has a Dance to It (i.e. Macarena)

RYAN:
+ Love Song You Want to Learn on the Guitar to Serenade People
+ A Recent Rap Song (At Most 3 Years Old) by a Relatively Unknown Rap Group/Rapper.
+ Workout/Fight Song
+ Gritty Noise Rock That Makes You Wanna Dance
+ Song Title That Is an Answer to the Question: What's Wrong With the World/Status Quo?

We still have Mariela and Reslyn left to submit ideas. There might not be enough space for all the songs so if we can all choose a category of our own to remove we can have 20 songs total.

My veto is the recent rap song, so choose yours soon cause I've already got ideas for some songs. (Song that has a dance to it -- my idea: Walk Like an Egyptian! or VOGUE!)

Also, I think "opening tv credits song" should be first on our CD and "ending credits song during a movie of your life" should be last. Good ones, Mon!

Might I say that Kelsey, your two "Song with recipient's name it it" and "Scranton, PA" are ridiculously hard. There still might be time to change if you get new ideas, if you want...

It's like Sodom and Gomorrah in here
Monica | Tuesday, November 21, 2006
Wow. I so don't care that much about tonight's episode of Veronica Mars. You know why? THIS IS WHY:

It better be as good as it sounds. AND I BET IT IS. MAC! DICK! WALLACE! WEEVIL! (VM = NO BANGS LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN, PLZ). MAC/PIZ? CRYING IN THE SHOWER? CRAZY FEMINISTS? DICK MOONING PEOPLE? "ASK ME ABOUT MY STD" T-SHIRT? BLOODY FACES?

HOMG. I LOVE TV. I can't help it.

OMG, and then HBO comes out with THIS?? MARLA SINGER IS A WITCH (Edward Norton can speak fluent Japanese, says ONTD)!! OMG LUNA. "WE'RE IN THIS TOGETHER." HAHAHA. HSM/HP CROSSOVER! I LOVE HARRY POTTER, TOO!

Yeaaah, buddy.

Lucky number 6! We should do prizes for this sort of thing.

Yeah, just wanted to save a spot. Will post a song and my comments on Heroes l8r. Check out the comments on Monica's post to see our top picks for the compilation CD. I's so essssited!

Edit #1 - First of many to follow. What's the screen name to the snap drive account again? I forgotted.

Edit #2 - ಠ_ಠ

Edit #3
- Mohinder's Dad + Mohinder = Jack + Jack's Dad. "Heart of Stone"
- Indian Dream Boy is soooo creepy
- Claire's Homecoming experience made me remember my own HAHA.
- The computer with all the green numbers made me think there'd be some number thing like Lost, too.
- Gawrsh, emo-boy, why don't you just tell Claire you lurve her. Why didn't you go to homecoming with her?! You're just making me angry! Ohhh! HAHA that's why.
- The people cheering for Claire as she found out she won made me happy!
- "I wanna tell you something. Co-captain to co-captain. I think you're a menace. And I'm not just talking about you punching me in the face when you were defending your boyfriend -- the girlfriend. You're a freak. We used to be BFFs. What happened?" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
- Rosemary's Baby girl probably has a huge power cause Claire's dad told her to "take him out." To lunch? Dinner? Will they go dutch? And where WAS she when Sylas showed up!
- PETER FELL AFTER HE WAS IN CONTACT WITH CLAIRE. HE PROBABLY ABSORBED HER POWERS SO HE'LL SURVIVE!!!!

Edit #5 - OMG MADONNA IN CONCERT ON WEDNESDAY, NBC 8:00!!

Edit #6 - Whoops, updated too soon during commercial break. HAHA Yeah so Peter got up. And Rosemary's Baby girl does have awesome powers to sleep. Yep. HEROES IS AWESOME!!

Nothing sucks more than a ruined nap. OK, maybe there is. ANYWAY. Amidst all this senior crap, I vote yay on the whole Let's Do Another CD Compilation Project Thing Whatever You Call Them And Let's Make It Work. Here are my 5 nominations :

+ Mentions An Alcoholic Beverage
+ Stuck In Your Head (ROUND TWO)

Hmm. I miss Dick Casablancas.

Pre-Thanksgiving/Kelsey's Birthday
Reslyn | Sunday, November 19, 2006
For once, I want to plan something. Yes, I have a brilliant plan!

Since Thanksgiving and Kelsey's birthday is just around the corner, on Wednesday for dinner, we should all go eat at the Big Apple Diner in Bremerton, where my mom works. We'll all pitch in and pay for Kelsey's dinner.

The only problem is we need transportation. Who is willing to drive? Misha, Kelsey, or Nicole? Or do we need like two people to drive? Unfortunately, Russell is included. -_________- And I wish Mariela still lived here. Oh garwsh! We could've had a double-birthday- thanksgiving-bash instead. :(

Mariela, you have to go to Hawaii! That's the only place I can go. My parents won't let me go to Cali with the others. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww shucks.
Reslyn

Jingleheimer Smith
Mariela | Saturday, November 18, 2006
There's a possibility that I might not go to Hawaii anymore :(. If that's the case, I could come with you guys to San Diego if you're still going. Why were you going there again? Oh well. We can see (read: rock) the Casbah. Or--hey hey--go shopping in LA!

Everyone's gifts will most likely arrive shortly after Kelsey's birthday due to the implication of Black Friday and its magnificent sales. Reslyn, been workin' on yer Old Boy, too.

I feel bad that I missed the art show reception. Meh. I was competing with the older crowd anyway.

So. I got into Olympic College. There's a burden removed. HAHA. The whole process was so easy! I wish the universities were like that. Maybe I'll go to Seattle Community. HAHA. No, no. I.. must.. try.

Anyway, I can't take a language this quarter because all of them are during school. Plus, I wanted to take Russian, which isn't offered this quarter. Boo hoo. I wish I did Running Start last year. Muhhh.

We should take pictures of Barnes and Noble for Mariela.

Cowboy up, Mars
Monica | Tuesday, November 14, 2006
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god (he's everybody's god, he's everybody's god, he's everybody's god, he's everybody's god.) Um, I have been searching for this song since SEVENTH GRADE, which is, like, FOREVER AGO. This moment is epic, because this is, like, my FAVORITE SONG. EVER.

Shady Lane - Pavement

Also, Plan the Perfect Murder = Raskolnikov.

Dostoevsky, we meet again.

PS: I thought it was really bitchy of the art-sub to tell Ryan right in the middle of his dialogue: "Stop saying 'like'." Um, stop being such a bitch. And stop interrupting Nicole in her hilarious attempt to practice her journalism skills. And stop walking over to the table to trash-talk Oprah. Because even though Oprah is a bit full of herself, she can still cut you with her diamond-encrusted box-cutter and pin the murder on some skinny-ass Russian dude from the 1800s.

Anata wa Yasashii
Ryan | Monday, November 13, 2006
Thoughts:

- The scientist guy has the power to dream the past.
- The diner girl is my favourite! Jenny Lewis + power to memorise!
- Rosemary's Baby girl has the power to persuade? HAHA cool
- Next episode is going to be awesome

- Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. HILARIOUS!

RIP Prop 89
Mariela | Saturday, November 11, 2006
Ugh, I can't believe it. Disappointing. Things better change when I'm on the scene.

I guess I haven't posted in a while (awhile?). Hmm. So. I got into San Francisco State University. There's a burden removed. Also, the gallery reception at the Pacific Community Center is next week and I have three pieces showing; here's two:

P.S. How did you know I like long shirts, Kelsey?

Nancy Pelosi is your new Speaker of the House; first woman to hold the position, first woman to head a party in the House of Representatives. First time Democrats have taken the house since 1994! Don't you see that we're in the midst of a change in the tide of history!?! I'm so happy for Pelosi especially. Girl power, right? Christmas has come early this year!

How can you guys not CARE?!

Hey, guuyyss.. look at THIS. McDreamy is McRaskol! HAHAHA.

I was reading, and there was a part where Luzhin gives Razmikhin a look. I thought of Billy Zane from Titanic. Ehhh?!

Hmmm. This one has Crispin Glover as Raskolnikov. There are soo many! Which one should we watch when we're done with the book?

I don't think there's a big movie out yet. They should make one!
Misha

Hey, Joe College! Jose Lunchpail.
Monica | Tuesday, November 7, 2006
I really hope that the people in the other table didn't think I was talking about them when I said: "Ugh, I hate it when people baby Ryan. Like, 'omigod, Ryan.'" Because I, like, totally wasn't referring to them.

I mean, excuse me for, as Nicole would say, "calling him out on his shit." That's how I roll. You all know that! Come on!

This is why listening devices should be allowed in the art room. A) People will listen to their music and do their work, B) NO TALKING, and C) Monica doesn't go around sounding like a McBitch all the McFriggin' time. (George: "McDreamy was doing the McNasty with McHottie? That McBastard!")

I hate McPeople.

But I don't hate these people.

Il pleut comme vache qui pisse.

Shrug. Learned it in French yesterday.

Hm. The test wasn't as hard as last time. I hope I get a higher score. Like, not just a higher score altogether, but a higher score for each section.

Anyway, the test room I was in had French and Spanish posters all over the walls. And there was a flyerthat said "Visit Italy, March 14 - March 22!"

This inspired me to finish my application for running start. However, I accidentally pressed the submit button and..it...sent. It wasn't even finished! I didn't even put my social security number! What do I do now?!

-____- They are soo going to think I don't know how to fill out an application. Too bad it's half the website's fault! I mean, it shouldn't be allowed to send unfinished applications. C'est stupide, non? Totemo.
