Thursday, May 16, 2002 - 10:57 a.m.

going to montreal tomorrow with the dude *and* his family. i am having heart palpitations just thinking about it. i doubt i will survive intact. plus, the heavy schedule will probably not allow me any time to hang with my homies, thus removing any shred of sanity i might retain...

got another e-mail from leslie with some brotherly advice:

hey banana,
iīm in weimar now, going to big bad berlin tomorrow. i donīt have tooooo much time to write now, lots of fan mail you know.
i went to buchenwald this morning, pretty grim, had to see it tho.
i understand you will be in mtl fri avec toute la gang, should be "fun." bring valium. i will call tomorrow night or saturday.
take care,
Les

thanks les. i feel much more prepared now.
