hello!
been back in tdot for a coupla days know. finally starting to feel like home again, despite the huge piles of laundry and e-mail.
last night i watched the new stone/parker show, that's my bush. great title, some drole bits but i am not hooked. i can live without it.
here's a heap of new urls my dept. has been passing around while i was disconnected:
> kung fu flash game
> flashcan.com - flash card builder
> ban breastfeeding? i don't think so.
> cheap hotel deals, perfect for a quicky with that person you just met on icq.
> funkymonkey care of the baboons who taped bananas and oranges to weird areas of my office.
> wildbrain - cool animation site i saw while watching mediatv.
and finally, my personal fave, tell a friend why they is so damn fyne c/o usofyne.com. jr sent me a message and it made my fuckin' day.
right, time to go home. i am feeling guilty for skipping the gym yet again. it's been almost a month since i had a proper workout and after the little beer belly i grew in the uk, it's not a pretty sight.

haggis, kilts and castles.
the dude and i have made our way to edinburgh. gorgeous city. all layers, cobblestones and ghosts. the views are out of this world.
we haven't actually spent much time in london. just one afternoon and it pissed rain. then we went to oxford for radiohead's homecoming show and their solo uk date. it was unbelievable. sigur ros, supergrass and beck started things off. the skies were bursting with bloated clouds but it held off, for the most part. things got going when thom yorke sang "rain down... on me..." and the heavens opened up. my old kway did nothing to help. we were all sopped but we stuck it out for the encore. and the second encore.
they were amazing. can't even describe it in words. i've seen radiohead 3 or 4 times before but this was the ultimate. for such heavy-trodden mellow musicmakers they put on an energetic live performance. so glad i was able to be there.
off to explore edinburgh.
