A GERMAN STUDY purports to find a statistically
significant link between a rare form of eye cancer and
mobile telephone use, but its authors say the topic
still needs more research.
Scientists from the Essen University Clinic queried 118
patients with uveal melanoma about their telephone
usage patterns and compared the results with a control
group of 475 healthy individuals, according to a
statement released by the university. They found that
heavy users of mobile devices are 3.3 times more
likely to develop the disease. The team published
their findings in the current issue of the journal Epidemiology.

in a better mood. ate some homemade 'za. smotted. watched the x-files (not half bad) while flipping between an american werewolf in london (good but grodie).
while boob tubin' i kept getting noticing the new wild cherry pepsi spot. the art direction and music suck me in. i am curious to learn who sings the tune. i did an online search. there are hundreds of references to wild cherry pepsi. unfortunately, none of the links i tried referred to the song. there is no wild cherry specific site either.
as such, i've decided to embark on elanamatic expt. #4: to query joels-brain and see how long it takes to get a response.

grumble. grumble. just something about sunday nights that make me moody and introverted. i mourn the death of another weekend.
friday we had some friends over. raine, came too. yay. it was nice to have another estrogen-loaded humanoid around. she's updated the content on her site recently. check it out.
saturday i worked out.. had a nap. took it too easy. when i stretched that night, i heard something pop. been suffering ever since. boo.
today i went for brunch with some gals from the moxie network. there were 4 jen's, a cyn, an emma and myself crowded around a table at tortilla flats. a bunch of the girls were having margaritas. as cyn pointed out "it's after 12:00." i stuck to oj. ole.
it was refereshing to hang with gals outside my normal group. i'm up for doing it again sometime soon!
alright. tonight's tasks, figure out a budget so that i can save some cash and escape the reality tv nightmare that is my life. later, bets are i will end up watching a presumably bad episode of the x-files. i wish i could blackmail the fox network. either give me back my mulder or create some good fuckin' sunday night tv viewing.
